I rubbed my eyes and ahh, my arms hurts a little. Today what's different is that I didn't felt any weight over me.

I was about to step down from the bed when someone pulled me back, making my back collide with the soft headboard. This literally jolted me and I opened my eyes completely.

To my surprise, I found it was kiddo who pulled me. She awake.

Sid- you awake ? It's just 5:30 of the morning

I asked as I know how lazy she is. Everyday she wakes up after I got ready. But today she is ready before me.

I really rolled my eyes this time andy last line was strict. She scrunched her nose looking like a one year baby who plays in it's cradle.

Kids really get hurts so quickly. I know this as my hostel used to be beside a babysitting centre. Here I was explaining her something else and she took it on another way.

She again rolled her eyes and stepped out of the bed. Within a minute she came back with her fat book, that's how my roommates used to denote the books.

She then climbed back on the bed, came under the comforter as the morning are obviously cold. And shifted closer to me, her closeness really makes me, The Siddharth Nigam feel nervous.

After that I started teaching her. She is really sincere while studying. One day she really gonna achieve a good position.

She made my breath hitch everytime she leaned closer unintentionally. I without letting her know, took deep breaths to calm my nerves.

Hush! She fell asleep while studying, completely forgetting about her Ludo thing. I stared at her face which was half covered with her silk brown hairs, her head was on my lap, lips slightly apart with little drool coming out of it.

Her face really have a charm, a glow which is calming and soothing. She is really innocent and childish, trust people easily and takes things so easily, without thinking about it deeply. But till she is with me, she is my responsibility.

I am really curious about who is that "Her" but I won't poke my nose in her personal life without her consent.

I rested my back on the headboard comfortably, as kiddo have already warned me about no work so yaa no work.

My mind is still fixed on that accident, that bastard is now getting out of his limits. If something had happened to her yesterday then I wouldn't have mind killing him without any mercy.

Time passed and I checked on the French clock. I should get ready now. Tough day Siddharth, taking shower with my arms which are paining so much, really gonna be tough.

Then I slowly got down off the bed, replacing my lap with a pillow. I then removed the strands of hair away from her face which may disturb her sleep and tucked it gently behind her ears. Aadhe neend se jaage bacche waakai bahut chidhide hote hai. (Half-awake kids are very irritable.)

I then walked towards the washroom but not before wiping the drool coming out of her mouth from my thumb and received a small beautiful smile in return. Cute.

I brushed my teeth and did my morning chores. But I need to bring my clothes as after kiddo started staying in my room, I've stopped roaming in towels or in boxers.

I stepped out of the washroom and glanced at the bed which is now empty. Where is she ? I then checked the walking closet and she isn't there too. Maybe doing her ballet dance with skates in the hall.

I sighed looking at messy bed and started arranging the comforter and bedsheet. Though I am a zillionaire but I like doing my work by myself. I used to do in my hostel too.

After that I took a quick shower and came out just in my pants.

Ugh! Wearing my shirt is more tough than taking shower. Fuck off that bastard. I just want to twist his neck. Bloody moron.

I was busy in my thoughts when I heard a knock on the door

I was so lost in her eyes that I felt I am on some other world, not on Earth anymore. But I came back to my senses when I heard footsteps.

And I am not willing to show everyone me and Kiddo in this kind of position so that they make any false notion.

I gasped when I found myself trapped between the door and Mr. Nakchade. Our faces were very close which hitched my breath.

I pursed my lips to calm my heartbeats, I doubt that he would have heard it. I was busy in calming myself when Mr. Robot stepped back. I sighed and let out the breath which I was holding all the time.

Mr. Nigam looked here and there and then finally turned towards me, his face as always blank as a white sheet of paper.

I blurted out without any second thought and he squinted his eyes.

I replied nervously, I saved myself from tripping in the way for almost four times.

This girl really can't take anything seriously. She was laughing on her own joke but stopped when I glared at her. She kept her finger on her lips but I can see that she is at the verge bursting out in laughter.

And finally she started laughing, while holding her stomach, like a maniac.

Sid- your stomach will hurt.

I warned but as if she will listen and continued laughing. Finally after wasting three precious minutes in laughing she stopped.

I indicated her towards the bed and she quickly turned and found my orange shirt lying on yhe sheet.

She turned her head back towards me, passed me a glare and walked towards the shirt. She then came back towards me and stared me from up to down.

What is she doing ? She scrunched her nose while shooking her head. I was so clueless by her behaviour when suddenly she clasped my wrist and dragged me towards the bed.

Avu- sit over there

She said.. no.. ordered me.

Sid- huh!

Avu- you are taller than me so sit there.

She said with an eye roll. And I sat there without any other word as it's useless to argue with this stubborn kid.

Avu- don't feel proud just because you are taller than me

Ohh! So this is the actual thing. She is furious because she is shorter than me. Kids and their weird thoughts.

I was sitting silently, noticing her every move. She scanned the shirt carefully trying to look like a detective.

Avu- spread your arms

She again ordered me and I did what she said. I don't want any further argument. And then she slided the shirt in my arms.

And next was buttoning the shirt. I noticed her gulping and she smiled nervously before helding the last button.

Sid- I will do it, you can leave me

I said as I can feel that she is feeling nervous.

Avu- shut up, I told you that I am not an Idiot.

Why is so stubborn ?

Her body was now trembling, she was trying her best to avoid as much skin contact as she can. I was too feeling waves of current passing in my body.

But by mistake her hands brushed over my chest for few times which made me quiver.

She was continuously biting her lower lip and I was avoiding looking at her. Maybe if I'll look at her then she will feel more uneasy.

Avu- done

She quickly stepped back and grinned like a monkey. I secretly sighed as those butterflies finally dissapeared from my stomach.

Avu- so are we ready to go to the office ?

She asked excitedly and I nodded.

Sid- first have breakfast

She nodded vigorously, still grinning like a monkey showing her white teeth.

But suddenly she stopped grinning and started staring at me with a weird look.

Sid- what ?

I asked while raising my eyebrows.

Avu- you go and I'll come after a while

Sid- okay but don't get late

I said and ambulated out of the room.

She is confusing sometimes.
