Next morning, when Sid came out from the bathroom after sliding in his business outfit, he found Avu sitting on the sofa arranging his clothes which made him confused and amused at the same time.

Sid- why are you arranging my clothes ?

Avu- huhh!

Glancing at Sid for once, Avu moved her gaze back to what she was doing before. Biting her lower lips and hesitating a little she mouthed a sorry which came out like a whisper but echoed in the silent room.

Sid- it will be regarded when you will not repeat that silly thing again.

She sighed nodding. He went near the dressing mirror and started getting ready and was done in just few minutes.

Sid- come quickly for the breakfast

And with that sentence even without waiting for to answer, he marched out of the room.

Avu- ugh! Why is he so rude ?

Rolling her eyes she quickly picked her clothes from the closest and rushed inside the washroom for a quick bath.

She quickly went downstairs after getting ready in something comfortable.

When she reached in the living hall, she found Sid sitting on the sofa doing something on his phone with concentration.

Muttering workaholic under her breathe she rushed inside the kitchen.

All the way the servants greeted her politely not even showing any kind of grudge regarding whatever she did last night, which made her sink more in guilt.

Avu- good morning aunty

Greeted Avu politely entering the kitchen and Rita who was checking on the breakfast turned around. Passing a warm smile, Rita greeted back.

Rita- how are you feeling now ?

Avu- I am quite better aunty and... And thankyou

Rita smiled but before she could reply Avu added

Avu- and sorry too.... Not only to you but to everyone.

Rita- it's okay dear

Replied Rita and caressed Avu's hair. Avu smiled as she felt a motherly aura from Rita which flattered her heart.

Rita- we understand your feelings too but from now take care

Avu nodded like a small kid and smiled brightly on which Rita chuckled.

Rita and Avu started chatting over random topics when Avu's mobile screen glowed up and started ringing.

She glanced at it and a huge smile formed on her lips reading the name of the caller. Rita smiled at Avu's cute reactions but didn't felt like asking anything.

Avu- it's Gulfam bua (father's sister)

Avu quickly went to the kitchen's window which was closed but few mini pots were kept there. She picked up the videocall after assuring that she will not get any hint of where Avu is staying from the background.

Avu- hiiii buaaaaa (aunt)

Squeeled Avu in excitement.

Gul- helo Avi

She replied with a huge smile dancing on her face.

JaiReem- hii Avni/Avu

Avu- hey bhoot and Reemi you are there too

Jai- yaa it has been long since we met so we are thinking to have a brunch date together

Avu- a brunch date without me... not fair

She pouted grumpily after whining like a kid. Rita chuckled at her childish antics.

Rim- we are missing you too yaar... Can't you join us ?

Jai- if you are afraid of them then I will come to pick you

Gul- that's a nice idea

Avu glanced at Rita and she whispered we can ask from Mr. Nigam.

Avu- huhh! Let me think and then I'll text you guys

Jai- okay madam

He said in fake British accent and dramatically bowed.

Avu- that looks so..

She said and made a gross face making Reem and Gulfam burst into laughter and Jai made faces.

Avu- is everyone joining ?

Rim- nope yaar... They are busy even Aman Uncle and Sonia Aunty are busy

Avu sighed little sadly but quickly replaced her expressions with her previous smile.

Avu- okay see you guys

And then hanged up the call. Avu looked at Rita and she gave her an assuring smile. By the help of other helpers Rita settled the breakfast on the dining table.

Avu silently sat on her seat, tapping her foot continuously on the floor.

Avu pov
Huh! What if I did a mistake, it doesn't mean that I will always get afraid of Mr. Nigam. No one can stop me.. I'll definitely go

After quickly checking the mails for the last time, he came and settled on his usual place. Silently the workers started serving the food.

A servant came and started filling the food in Avu's plate and she being busy with her own thought didn't noticed it.

When her plate filled quite much than the quantity she usually eats, the servant glanced at her with an akward smile. But still Avu didn't realised it.

Sid glanced at Avu and then noticed the expressions of that worker. He simply blinked his lashes and the servant nodded.

Serv- mam.. mam...

The servant smiled awkwardly and glanced towards Sid again. Though Sid was all calm but his all time neutral face was what which make them scare.

Sid sighed and cleared his throat little loud and that's when Avu came out of her trance.

Avu- hann !?

She blurted out having no idea about the previous conversation. Sid inspite of saying anything just signalled towards her plate.

Avu looked at her plate and smiled sheepishly and put the extra quantity back.
They started eating their breakfast without any other exchange of words.

Avu secretly glanced at Sid while eating and at first he didn't noticed it but when she keep on doing that he understood that something is cooking in her mind.

Tightening her grip over the spoon, she cleared her throat. Sid who was noticing her from before completely moved his attention at her, and raised his sharp brow in a questioning way.

Avu- Mr. Nigam I need to go to my friends for a brunch

She said in a go and stared at Sid whose face wasn't giving any idea about his mood.

Sid- my driver will accompany you

Sid exclaimed and got up from his seat as he was now done with his breakfast.

Avu stared at his back which dissapeared within few seconds.

Avu- I can go by own

She muttered to herself and pouted. Then she quickly finished her breakfast and was about to get up when she heard footsteps coming to her. She turned her gaze and found Sid standing over there.

Avu- can't I go alone ? Trust me I won't try to escape. Remember our deal.

She pressurised on deal to assure him and he just stared at her blankly.

Sid- what do you think about me ?

A squeak left her mouth in jolt of this unexpected question

Sid- what do you think about me ?

Sid repeated in huff tone and Avu smiled awkwardly.

Avu pov
All of a sudden why Mr. Cat is asking this kind of question ?

Avu- umm..

She trailed off awkwardly and then replied removing her gaze from him

Avu- you are not a bad man

As she finished that simple sentence which she felt so complicated that moment, she looked back at him

Sid- if you have trusted me then you would have said that I am a good man

Avu was started by his sudden behaviour and she stiffened.

Avu- umm Mr. Nig..

Before she could complete Sud cut her iff in the middle.

Sid- then how can you think that I will trust you so easily ? As I said I will never stop you and I am not. You are going with the driver.

He explained and said the last line in a final tone. Avu huffed and nodded in agreement as she don't have any problem with it.

Her body flinched when all of a sudden Sid pulled out the bandage from her forehead. She hissed a little because of it.

She lifted her hand to touch her wound but before her hand can even reach over there, Sid sticked a new bandage over her injury.

Completely startled and dumbstrucked from his this unexpected move, she couldn't stop her eyes to look over him.

For few seconds Sid also sank into her gaze but it didn't last long. He took few step backwards and diverting his gaze, marched off there.

As the realisation striked her that he is not there anymore, she pushed herself back into the reality. Without her permission her hands reached over the new bandage and she touched it gently.An unknown warmth ran inside her.

Then she got up from her place and was about to pick her plate but the servants didn't let her do it.Even when she argued finally the servant took all the dishes back in the kitchen.

Little time was left for the brunch so Avu left to get ready and Sid left for his office after giving few instructions to the driver who was going to accompany Avu.

Avu descended the stairs at the right time she have decided to leave the Mansion.

She had dressed her self into a simple yet beautiful long India gown. It was hanging over her body with the help of two knots on the shoulder.

Avu- aunty may be I'll come late as I am going to meet my friends and bua after long

Rita smiled and nodded.

Rita- you are looking so beautiful

Avu smiled brightly on Rita's compliment and saw the other workers who were standing there also nodding on Rita's sentence.

Avu- thankyou guys... And don't worry I will definitely come back

She assured them that this time she won't try to escape.

Rita- we believe you

Replied Rita with a gentle smile and then Avu left after bidding them byeee.
