Sid stared at her for few seconds and then went to the other direction without saying anything and she finally let go the breath she was holding because of nervousness.

Today for the first time I am feeling scared of Mr. Nigam. I know I was stupid to run away like this. But today Mr. Nigam saved me.. he really did, not only from the rain but also from those storms of past.

She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she don't even realised that Sid was now back on the spot where he was standing before.

The lightening is still shining and I can see it through the window, it's loud roars still scares me the same. Those flames of fire were frightening me even more. I just hate it, I wish that I could change it.

Her chain of thoughts broke when she felt a someone's face closer to her.

I saw Mr. Nigam keeping a box beside me which I now noticed is a first aid box. Yaa how can I forget about the wounds I got in the state of panic.

Sid gazed at her and she also looked at him. Their eyes met but within few seconds Avu hanged her eyelids low.

Does he wants me to aid my wounds ? Does he wants to scold me ? Ahh! please speak something Mr. Nigam, your silence is even more scary than your outburst.

Avu got startled when she felt Sid kneeling in front of her on the carpet. He slowly lifted her dress a little up from her kness.

He took a cotton ball dipping it with that pain causing antiseptic and then slowly placing it on my injured knee and I winced in pain.

Avu- ahhh

Sid- it's okay... It will hurt a little

This man... is so complicated

His full focus was on her wounds and hers was on him. He gently wiped the dirt fron her both knees and she again winced

Why is he like this ? I am not getting words to explain about him which I am feeling at this mome..

Avu- ahh

Her hands automatically made it's way to his forearms and she clutched into his tshirt tightly. Then he applied ointment on it and she was just staring at him, biting her lower lips to suppress her screams.

Ugh! Is he any biplopar ? Sometimes he will act so rude and sometimes so caring. He is incomprehensible.

When Sid was done with her knees, he looked up and found her staring at him. He froze on the same position.

Sid pov
Why is she staring at me ? I haven't even scolded or yelled at her.

This staring game didn't last longer as suddenly the lightning strike with a loud growl. Though the widows were closed but the lights flashed in the room through the glass. Avu flinched and clutched into Sid's arms more tighter than before.

Avu- Mr. Nigam cc..can you ple..ase pull on the curt..aai..ns ?

She stammered with fear, sweats started forming on her forhead and she again started shivering.

Sid was confused by her sudden change of reaction, but understanding the need of situation, he got up and pulled on the curtains.

Sid- you okay now

Avu pov
He asked me and I felt the concern in his voice. My body is still shivering. I wasn't in the state to answer so I just nodded in yes.

Sid- whatever happened today shouldn't have happened

Mr. Nigam suddenly bring up this topic and I again hanged my lashes down. Huh! Today's evening reminded me that how coward I am in reality, no matter how much I pretend to be strong but I can't face stupid lightening, I can't stand against the fire flames.

Sid- I will talk straight. You are hiding from someone and I need someone to be as my wife for a here. Why don't we make a deal ?

Deal

With this word Avu dared to look back at him.

Sid- I'll help you to hide from them and you have to be with me till that legacy expires. You can think like you are living in your any friend's house. Be comfortable, I'll help you with everything, do whatever you want, go wherever you want to go.

I stared at him and his words.. they were pressing the bells of my brain.

Sid- No one will get to know about this marriage, it will be like it never happened. If you will want then I'll also help you after the legacy ends.

Gosh! God how you create these businesses men's brains ? They find business so easily in anything. But the deal is nice, Mr. Nigam is so powerful that he can help me.

Sid- so what fo you think of this deal ?

What if she don't accept this deal ? She is so stubborn that I doubt that whether she will get ready for it or not ?

Avu pov
If I stay here they won't be able to find me. And when we don't take this marriage for granted then it won't be trouble... It's a nice deal, I can go for it.

Sid cleared his throat to pull her out of her thoughts. She straightened herself maintaining a business look and said

Avu- I am okay with this deal

I agreed for the deal and saw Mr. Nigam sighing in relief. All the time his expressions didn't changed, lol! But how can I forget that he wasn't having any expression then how will it change huhh!

She forwarded her hand for a handshake presenting herself all professional, but winced in pain because she felt a pain in her hand due to the movement.

Sid- pull your sleeves up and extend your hand

Avu- huh! I'll do it Mr. Nigam, it's okay.

Sid- you aren't even able to move your hands then how you gonna do it ?

That's right though, why I get defeated by him ? I tried to move my hands and again winced. Fuck off!

Sid- wait

Sid himself lifted her sleeves up and tucked it at her arms. Then he again took the cotton balls and started with the treatment.

Ohh god! What's floating inside my stomach, why these tingles ? Okay what should I do, my body have started quivering again.

Sid pov
Why my hands are shivering ? And what are these electrical waves which I am feeling inside my body. Is she any electric girl ? Ugh! What nonsense am I thinking ?

Sid blowed cold airs on her injuries while applying the ointment and she was trying not to wince like kids.

Sid- it's done

He said and quickly moved little away from her and those currents started calming.

Avu- thanks Mr. Nigam

She smiled and pushed the hair strands behind her ear. That's when his eyes fell on her head which had a cut on it's corner.

Sid- how many more injuries have you got in just an evening ?

He said more like taunting.

Avu- what ?

She asked with confusion. Sid can't stop himself and stroked that cut gently with his thumb and she winced a little.

Shiver ran through her body and she smiled nervously and tried to divert her mind from it.

Avu- by the way I just got to know that robots are even featured to taunt

She chuckled on her own joke and Sid looked at her in disbelief.

Can't she be serious ?

Ignoring her Sid started applying the anticipated on the cut. He gently blowed soft air on it.

Avu pov
While he was blowing soft air on that stupid cut of my forehead, his lips curved into a little pout. Aww he looks cute. Ahh! Shut up you crazy girl.

Sid found her staring at him without blinking, but he tried to ignore her gaze which floods something different inside him.

Goosebumps was forming on her body due to the proximity between them. He was standing so close to her that she wasn't even trying to move.

Her gaze slowly moved to his laryngeal prominence.

Sid- now it's finally done

Announced Sid not looking at her and she smiled nervously and gulped down her saliva.

Avu pov
Neet.. Neet.. Neet, you need treatment. What were you doing ?

ScM- drooling over your husband

Avu- shut up. He isn't my husband

ScM- but you two have got married

Avu- it's just a deal, we don't consider it as marriage

ScM- but what if your thoughts change ?

Avu nodded looking at her lap like an obedient child.

She asked pouting while Sid was confused by her words.

He said in confusion.

Avu- offo Mr. Bhulakkad (forgetful) Nigam

She exclaimed dramatically and Sid gave her a sharp look.

Avu- didn't I threatened you that You are taking a disaster along with you ?

She said trying to match her own tone in which she have said this line on that day.

Sid- so

Avu- so did I acted like one ?

She pouted with hopeful eyes and Sid huffed.

Sid pov

He mentally face palmed and hummed.

Avu- words Mr. Cat

She demanded like a kid.

Sid- yes Ms. Whatever you succeeded

Avu rolled her eyes getting irritated.

Avu- agh! Can't you fucking remember my name, does it sounds so bad or is it too hard to remember or does it...

She was continuously blabbering and wasn't giving any chance to Sid for speaking so he moved closer to her and kept his hand over her lips to stop her.

Her eyes widened and her lips trembled feeling his palm over her lips and she gulped her saliva.

She stopped blabbering and looked towards him and found him already staring at her. Their eyes get locked with each other and both started staring deep inside each other's eyes.

Why am I again feeling currents inside me ? And why am I not feeling like move from here ? What's this happening with me ?

Avu pov
I am telling you his eyes have something. So attractive like magnet, so deep like oceans and so pure like crystal... Ugh! I can stare into them all the ti.. Seriously Avu, what are even saying ? Now just shut up.

Both came back to their senses and moved few steps away from each other.

Sid- umm wo

He trailed off looking at any other direction but not at her. Avu took a deep breath and acted normal

Avu- so will you answer Mr. Robot ?

Sid- you still want to know ?

He asked staring at her deeply.

Sid pov
Am I the only one feeling this or she too ?

Avu- has something happened ?

She asked acting normally

Avu pov

Avu's jaw dropped listening to his answer.

Sid- now let's go and have dinner... I have called the dinner.

And he turned to go but before he could Avu grabbed his wrist. He turned back at her and raised his eyebrows in a questioning way. Her sudden move made sparks didn't inside him.

Avu- are you even serious ?

Sid- hnnm

Sid hummed in response and ruffled her hairs and her eyes again widened.

Just lack of chuckle... Or atleast a smile

She sighed and both went and sat down near the table of the sofa and had their dinner. Then both of them slept.
