Sid kept on thinking about Rita's words all the way. He slowly opened the door and entered inside still lost.

But as he was expecting her to jump on his path yelling over him but nothing like this happened which was surprising for him.

He removed his watch and then knocked on the washroom's gate and then to the closest but didn't get any response. He didn't find her anywhere in the whole room.

Sid pov
Did she ran away ?

He thought to himself and the alarms of his brain started ringing giving him warnings. Without any other thought he rushed out of the room while dialing the guard's number.

Sid- everyone come back inside

Guard- Okay Sir

Till the time Sid reached back in the living hall, all the guards were already present there queued up in a line.

Sid- she isn't in the room, check her in the Mansion ASAP

He ordered and the guards quickly got alert and marched in different directions of the lavish mansion. Here the mention of She was enough for them to guess that about whom Sid is talking.

The servants were off-guard and looked at each other. After all this drama they were wishing that at least now Sid will understand everything but Avu have now created another scene.

Rita pov
Ohh God don't let it be another problem between Mr. Nigam and Mam

Sid stood at his place massaging his temples with closed eyes. Within fifteen minutes all the guards came while trying to catch their breaths back.

Sid looked at them with questioning eyes and they shook their heads looking down.

Without saying any thing else Sid marched towards the exit when suddenly they heard the loud growl of the clouds followed by lightning.

Horror surrounded everyone and they started looking at each other except Sid who again started walking over the exit after the break of few seconds.

Rita- Ohh god! please take care of her

She prayed to God by joining her hands and looking up.

Without waiting for any further order or instruction the guards marchd behind him.

Sid didn't waited for anyone and quickly sat inside his car and rushed it out from there at high speed.

The guards also settled into their jeeps and rushed behind him trying to match with his speed.

While she was listening to the lightning and her whole body started trembling. All those moments from her past started flashing in front of her eyes and started brimming in her eyes.

Avu- can't these clouds simply rain, what's there the need of lightning ?

She exclaimed with her cracky voice and teary eyes.

Suddenly a thunder striked directly fell upon a nearby tree and the tree started burning which scared her to the core.

Staring at the burning tree her legs got freezed on the spot. Her breathing paced along with her heartbeat. She came to her senses when another thunder striked in the sky.

She quickly started running from there and her foot hit a stone which twisted her leg and she fell down. She got new injuries to her knee and forearms and elbow, and a small cut on her head.

She somehow got up from there and started searching for a suitable place for shelter. Wiping off the tears from her face she took out her phone from her pocket which was indicating of no signal.

Avu- ahh fuck! What should I do now ?

She groaned and her eyes fell on near the dustbins where there was a little space for sheltering her head under the little roof of a shop.

She somehow reached there while limping and sat under it, hugging her knees tightly pulling it closer to her chest.

The lightening didn't stopped and continued one after one. She flinched at every strike and more tears rolled down her eyes.

She clenched her fists tightly and dugged her head in her arms bitting her lower lip to suppress the fear.

Sid commanded his guards to spread in different directions. His car was running on the lonely roads with full speed.

Soon water droplets started falling down from the sky accompanied by cold winds, making his grip tight on the steering wheel.

More twenty minutes passed like this, Sid and other guards were still trying to find her. The wind started blowing faster and the rain was getting stronger.

She started hiccuping and those scenes weren't stopping from coming into her mind.

She was trying her best not to look at the tree which was still burning in the heavy rain, but every time her attention was drawn to it.

Her body completely got drenched and started quvering due to the cold as well as fear.

Sid was still driving his car, rolling his eyes in every direction so that he don't miss her and finally his sharp eyes fell upon a familiar figure under a shop.

He put the break with a force and came out of the car without caring about the heavy rain outside.

She was too numb to notice all this. But when she felt someone's presence over there, she forced her lashes lift upwards and her eyes fell upon that familiar figure forming a faint smile on her lips which have turned whitish and pale.

Sid noticed her condition which was looking miserable. He quickly took off his blazer and wrapped it around her tiny body.

Then he helped her in standing but due to the injuries, her legs stumbled and she collided with his chest.

He quickly supported her by holding onto her shoulders. She wrapped her arms around his torso hugging him tightly and started crying, making him shock.

He wasn't having any idea what to do at this kind of situation as he never hugged any girl and specially when she is crying.

He closed his eyes and remember that whenever he used to hug his mom, she always used to caresses his hairs and back.

With hesitation he slowly stroked her back. Eventually her cries changed into sobs then he slowly parted from the hug.

She suddenly missed that warmth but before she could react on it, he picked her up in his arms and started going towards his car.

He gently placed her on the passenger seat and himself hopped into the driver's. He closed all the windows of the car and raised the temperature of the hot blower aftet switching it on. Then he drove back to Nigam Mansion.

She calmed down and her body also started shivering less. Sid told his guards to come back to the Mansion.

Reaching back to the Mansion he quickly picked her back in his arms and went inside the Mansion.

All the time she was clutching into him tightly, digging her head in his chest. Her body was still shivering from cold.

All the workers quickly rushed towards Sid and they got shocked looking at her condition. Care and concern was clearly written over their faces which made Avu guilty for whatever she did.

The workers were also scared for Avu because Sid's mood was not looking good.

Sid- Aunt please send hot soup and dinner in my room

He said with his all time straight face and nuetral expression and Rita nodded then Sid went to his room.

Reaching to his room, he made her sit on the couch and switched off the air conditioner. Then he gave her towel to wipe herself and she took it with shivering hands.

She wasn't even daring to look at him, all the time she was hanging her eyelids low.

Sid- can you change by yourself or should I call aunt ?

Avu was feeling to guilty that she was hesitating in taking Rita's help.

Avu- no I will change

She stammered and tried to get up and was feeling difficulties in it. Sid balanced her and helped her in going to the closest.

Sid- if you felt the need of Aunt then call me, I'll be outside here

He said to her and stands beside the door and Avu lightly hummed before going inside.

After five minutes Avu came out wearing a full length sleeves dress and her hair was open and messy.

She got surprised when she found Sid still standing on the same place with his hands resting inside his pocket.

His clothes were also soaked due to the rain and also because of carrying her everytime.

Sid- done

She hummed and silently went and sat on the bed's edge. Though she wanted to say him to get changed but she was having no guts to.

Hearing his footsteps coming towards her she was getting scary vibes.

Avu pov
Why am I feeling like instead of Mr. Nigam a big giant is coming towards me which is hell angry now and will eat me raw

She gulped her saliva at her own thoughts and clutched into her dress tightly.

Mr. Nigam must be so angry, now he will surely scold me and yell at me. Please god save your little poor kid

Sid stopped just in front of her. Avu stared at his legs but didn't dared to look at him. She can sense his piercing gaze over her which was making her more scared.
