Both Avu and Mr. Chopra looked at the direction of the voice and found a young man with silky hairs, crystal eyes, sharp jawline and sharp body features standing there.

Avu pov
He looks dashing.

Vin- you don't need to interfere

Boy- I am repeating again let go of her hand

He repeated in a cold warning tone. But Mr. Chopra being a stubborn ass didn't left her hand and that was it, Avu smashed her heels over his shoes and he winced in pain.

Boy- wohh (amused)

Vin- you slu..

But before he could complete he received a tight punch accross his face by that boy.

Vin- how dare you ?

Boy- like how you dared to touch a girl without her permission

He gritted his teeth and Avu was little impressed by him.

Such a nice guy he is... Not like this jerk oldy

On the other hand Sid was trying to find a way to get himself out from those unwanted talks.

Boy- lets go Miss

Avu nodded and made a disgusted face while looking to Mr. Chopra.

She intentionally walked over his foot, pressing her heels over his foot making him wince in pain.

Avu- opss (making a fake sympathetic face) but not sorry (sassily)

Then Avu flipped her hair in full attitude and left from there with that boy not before glaring at Mr. Chopra for last.

Finally Sid get rid from that unwanted people and their talks and he began to find her.

They stopped near the drinking section while Avu was cursing Mr. Chopra all the time. The boy looked at Avu and she couldn't control but burst into laughter.

Boy- why are you laughing ?

Avu- nothing  laughs  jus..st  laughs  just remembered  laughs  his rea..cti.on

The boy chuckled nodding his head.

Avu- and yaa thanks for helping

Boy- anything for a beautiful girl (winked)

Avu- flirting huhh!

Boy- don't mind... I'll not if you don't like

Avu- it's okay... by the way I am Avneet Kaur

She introduced herself forwarding her hand for a hand shake.

Boy- so your name is also like you.. cute and sweet

Avu grinned and she was already enjoying his company.

Boy- myself Nishant

He introduced himself accepting her hand.

Nish- so are you single ?

Avu- why are you asking ?   (raising her eyebrows)

Nish- for extra info so that your boyfriend can't break my jaw.

And Avu again busrt into the fists of laughter.

Avu- godd! You are really so funny

Nish- shukriya shukriya (thankyou thankyou) and your smile is so pretty just like you

Avu smiled widely and her cheeks turned into tint pink.

There Sid saw her laughing and blushing with a man from a little distance but he couldn't see that man's face because his back is facing him.

Though looking at all this his expressions didn't changed not even a little. He just kept on standing there keeping an eye over her.

Sid pov
She can talk to anyone.. laugh with anyone.. or can do whatever she want. What matters to me is she shouldn't escape.

He thought to himself taking a sip of the red wine from his glass.

Soon an announcement was made for calling everyone on the dance floor for couple dance.

Nish- so beautiful girl, would you like to dance with me ?

He asked forwarding his hand, Avu looked at his hand was about to keep her hand over his but she pulled her hand back and made a thinking face. He looked at her with hopeful puppy eyes and she chuckled keeping her hand over his. Then both left for the dance floor.

Sid stared at Avu and the boy going on the dance floor with hand in hand. The lights got dim and everyone took their places.

Sid stood a little closer to the dance floor, not interested in dance.

Nis- may I ?

Avu smiled nodding her head and he slided his hand over her waist gently. The music started and the partners started slaying along with it.

Soon Sid finished his glass and kept it aside and stared at the scenario blankly. For a moment his expressions changed a little looking at something but he quickly maintained his plain face.

Avu and Nishant were talking with each other while dancing. They have now became friends.

Avu- you dance so well

Nish- not more than you

And he started twirling her and twirled... twirled... twirled her and suddenly her heels twisted but before she could fall, a pair of muscular arms balanced her.

Sid quickly grabbed her from her shoulder, holding onto her waist he saved her from falling.

Her one hand was on his shoulder and other on his chest. They were so close to each other that she could hear his heartbeat and feel it too.

And again she get lost in those heartbeats which she felt to be very slow and inaudible exept others.

Avu- you smells so good

She don't even realised before those words released from her mouth as she was so lost in those heartbeats and that fragrance.

Sid whose mind was also another world till now, came back to his senses and he squeezed his eyes to shrug off the thoughts from his mind.

Sid- what ?

Hearing the same voice to which she have become familiar in past three days, she came back to her senses and mentally slapped herself.

She lifted her face up to look on to him and that's when he noticed her.

Her long hairs flowing perfectly which she have kept in front. Her cute little nose and deep brown eyes and that cute nervous expression which was sticked on her face.

Sid moved his gaze to somewhere else for few seconds to shrug off all this thoughts and looked back at her and cleared his throat to bring her back to earth as she was staring at him from long.

Avu- wo abb..ba I mean... yaa wo I mean that your perfume smells so good

She said straightening herself and chuckled nervously. Till then the song have also ended.

Sid- you should learn to handle yourself

His voice was barely giving any idea about his emotions and Avu rolled her eyes at this

Avu pov
One is he and one is Nishant... there is literally the difference of land and sky between them. Such a cute friendly guy he is and such an idiot Mr. Nigam is

Avu- can't you fucking act like normal human being Mr. Robot

She postulated with annoyance and Sid just ignored it.

Sid- but it was unexpected that you didn't tried to run away

Avu- ohh how could I ? That Oldy Jerk wasted my time.

She murmured under her breathe making faces which made Sid curious.

Sid- is something wrong or anything wrong happened with you ?

His voice's accent was completely different from all the time she had heard him. Her head snapped towards him in amusement and she felt like there was a line of tension on his forehead which he didn't let last longer.

Avu- umm Mr. Nigam did I saw something wrong ?

She asked pointing her index finger towards him and started taking it closer to him but before it could touch his forehead, he grabbed her finger.

Sid- everyone is waiting for dinner so let's go

And before she could say anything else he caught her wrist dragging her along with him to the lavish dining table which was arranged for all the guests.

All seated on their chairs. The dining table was very lavish and long that more than fifty people can eat together. It was for close and special guests to have dinner together.

As always Sid sat beside Mr. Chopra on the breadth edge of the table. Avu sat beside Sid on the adjacent edge.

Soon food was served and all the people started eating together.

Avu roamed her eyes to every direction and Sid slightly followed her gaze. She found Nishant sitting in the parallel edge and little away from her.

Both exchanged a small smile. Sid eyed to Avu from the corner of his eyes and then to Nishant and his hold over his spoon tightened.

The dinner was going on while everyone chatting and laughing. Avu was laughing silently on the jokes of Mr. Mehra who was trying to engulf Sid into a conversation which was of no use.

Sid was just humming or nodding lightly in response as his focus was on those eyes who were continuously gawking over the person sitting beside him.

Mr. M- and that's how Siddharth used to scare my daughter with kitten ?

He chuckled and Avu cracked up at this but not to loud. Others also started laughing while Sid don't even reacted even when he himself was the topic of the gossips.

Little food spreaded over Avu's lips due to sudden crack up and she moved her hand to take out a napkin while laughing.

But Sid took out a napkin glancing to those eyes and moved to wipe her lips. Her eyes widened and she moved back a little in amusement as this was unexpected for her.

Sid rolled his eyes internally and again glanced at those eyes and then to Avu. Mr. Mehra was also startled like others at first but then a grin speeded over his face.

But the next move of Sid left everyone more shocked and Avu freezed over seat. All of a sudden, Sid pulled her chair towards him. Leaning closer to her, he wiped her lips softly but not with the napkin but with his thumb.

All of the time Avu was just staring over him with wide eyes. As soon his thumb touched her lips she felt her heartbeats pacing and tingles formed in her stomach.

Sid felt sparks inside his body and his fingers trembled a little but he just tried to ignore it.

When he was done he looked at her who was looking at him with the same expressions. Their eyes met and he frozed over his place.

They were so close that if any picture of that moment could fire in the news easily but as no media was allowed so nobody dared to click any pictures.

After few moments they pulled back listening to the fake coughs. Sid straightened himself and Avu pulled her chair back on its previous position.

Mr. M- everyone please continue

He announced glancing at the guests who were still trying to digest what ever just happened.

Mr. Mehra pov
Wow! Siddharth and Avneet looks so cute together. I really think like finally God have sent someone for whom Siddharth will also feel. And thanks to God She isn't here

The Siddharth Nigam who always used to ignore girls behaved totally opposite today. The girls were now burning more in jealousy.

Sid started eating his dinner normally like nothing new happened and on the other hand Avu also didn't joined the conversation after what happened.

She had her dinner silently staring at her plate with her head hanged low as she was trying to hide her cheeks which have turned red without her permission.

Avu pov
God! Why the hell my heart is beating so fast and why am I feeling like someone have attached any electronic wire with me ? Ughh!

Soon the dinner got over and the party also came to an end. Avu excused herself for washroom when Sid was busy with some business men.

She sighed coming away from there when she felt someone's hand over her shoulders. She turned around and found Nishant standing there.

Nish- hey

Avu- hii

Nish- so do you know Mr. Nigam ?

Avu- umm yaa kind of

She said akwardly as she barely know him from few days.

Nish- are you two dating ?

Avu- No, why are you asking ?

She quickly replied.

Nis- I felt like it as he never treats any girl like this and I guess you are the first girl whom he ever brought in praty along with him

Avu just chuckled at this not getting any proper response.

Sorry Nishant I don't have time to talk to you as I need to escape from here

Avu- can you please do me a favor ?

Nish- yaa sure... I'll surely if I can

Avu- can you yell me a way out where is no media ?

Nish- why you need to know this ?

He asked skeptically and Avu smiled nervously quickly thinking for any excuses.

Avu- I am feeling packed over here so I need to get some fresh air

Nish- ohh!

Then Nishant told her a way out and she thanked him and quickly rushed to that way leaving Nishant over there.

She came out from the Mansion from the backside and sighed. Turning back towards the Mansion she grinned widely.

Avu- good byee Mr. Nigam
