~Y/N POV~

"So? Where shall we start first?"

Fuck.

"Mrs Kim I swear I can explain everything."

Panic set inside myself seeing Namjoons mom now sitting in front of me knowing she just heard mine and jins conversation.

"Could you pleases explain to me then what's going on?" Mrs Kim

She neatly placed her hands on top of the other on her lap with curiosity written all over her face. I sighed heavily tucking my hair behind my ear. I feel more nervous to talk to her about this then I do about Namjoon.

"Well first off Namjoon and I were never in a relationship but something more of like an agreement between the two of us."

"Okay? I'm taking a wild guess that, that agreement between the two of you has now ended?" Mrs Kim

I nod biting down on my bottom lip.

"Yes. I actually began an relationship with someone else and since then our friendship has been a little rocky if I do say so."

"You could of fooled me. When you came to dinner a few weeks back I wouldn't of thought anything of the sort between the two of you. If anything I just noticed that you two became, I don't know a little more closer in a way. I could also tell by the way my son would look at you." Mrs Kim

Namjoon hasn't looked at me any other way than a friend. Maybe a few times he would give me his longing eyes but he didn't do that when we had dinner at her house. Well that I can think of.

"Really? I didn't think we acted any different to how we usually do around others."

"Oh my dear that's because I'm his mother. I noticed that's how I always knew Namjoon also liked men just as he did women. It's just when he finally admitted it I guess it just became so real to me that I didn't to keep how to react. But I love my son no matter what." Mrs Kim

She smiled fondly as if she was thinking about him at this present time blankly slowly while staring at my desk.

"Anyway so this little agreement I guess you two had, did this result in this pregnancy or I'm sorry if this comes across as rude but was there a one night you cheated on your boyfriend with my son?" Mrs Kim

"No I didn't cheat on my boyfriend, well ex boyfriend now but yes it was during our agreement before I was in a relationship. I actually only found out last week I was pregnant."

I looked down at my lap remembering I had my phone and baby's scan picture there.

"So you're pregnant with my grandchild then?" Mrs Kim

I nod still looking down at the picture. Just getting the scan done makes it more real.

"Yes."

That's all I say and she claps her hands together excitedly and I flinched to look at her startled by her reaction.

"Oh this is great! I can't wait! I'm gonna be a grandmother! I always knew you two would end up together!! How did Namjoon take the news?" Mrs Kim

Did she only hear part of mine and jins conversation?

"He doesn't know yet. I've been trying to tell him but he thinks it's my ex's baby when it's not. He won't talk to me and allow me to tell him. I don't even know if he knows I'm not with Jimin anymore."

I sighed again sadly. Mrs Kim hums looking at me with sad eyes.

"Yeah my son can be very dramatic when it comes to things he doesn't want to accept. He's always been like that ever since he was a little boy but trust me when I say he'll love this baby more than anything in the world." Mrs Kim

I know that and I don't doubt it either. I just can't feel any need to tell him any time soon because of the way he's been reacting to all this. He won't give me the time of day and I have just given up.

"Yes I know but I've just to be honest given up trying to tell him. He's staying with Jin at the moment and refuses to come home."

"So that's where he is. That's why I came to see you because I was hoping you would tell me where he is since he's been very distant lately and he hasn't actually been to work in the last two days so I was getting worried." Mrs Kim

He's not been at work?
Jin never told me that.

"I'm sorry I didn't know he was showing up to work."

"Well now that I know where he is maybe I could pay him a visit now and I could tell him the news myself." Mrs Kim

She begins to stand up but I stop her by quickly standing up with my phone and scan picture happening to fall into the table instead of the floor.

"No you can't. Jin mentioned telling Namjoon he'll have to come home so I'll tell him then. I really think it's best if I tell him and explain some things to him."

She suspiciously eyes me up and down until her eyes land on the scan picture on the table.

"Okay I won't say anything for now. Is that the picture of the baby? Did you have a scan already dear?" Mrs Kim

She points at it grinning widely at it. I nod picking it up and handing it to her so she could look at it.

"Yes here have a look if you'd like."

She gratefully took the picture and admired the picture. The baby may not be much now but for her to already be a mother herself she would know just how precious the picture would be.

"Aw it's tiny. How many weeks are you?" Mrs Kim

She asks quickly glancing at me and then back to the picture.

"I'm currently 8 weeks. It's still early but the doctor said everything is okay."

"When is your next appointment?" Mrs Kim

Her question shocked me but I told her either way.

"Not for another two weeks."

"Oh could I come please?" Mrs Kim

This women just surprises me more and more. I'd actually like it if she came with me. I don't have my one mom so why not the other grandmother of my child if she's more than happy to come with.

"Yeah sure that's fine."

"Great! Can you just text me the details and we can make a day of it? We're technically family now." Mrs Kim

We both laughed a little and she handed the picture back to me and I thanked her for it.

"Does your father know yet? I bet he'll be over the moon." Mrs Kim

"No not yet but I'm gonna tell him really soon. I've just been so busy with everything going on I just haven't had the time."

"Well you should call him and have lunch and share the news with him. Your father gets lonely sometimes y/n, so I think he would love the company." Mrs Kim

I nod knowing that is true and it makes me feel guilty for not spending more time with my dad when I know he's lonely now that he doesn't work as much as he use to.

"I will thank you for the idea."

She nods kindly and turns to walk away to the door but pauses with her hand on the handle to look back at me.

"Tell him soon y/n before it's too late. I'll catch up with you soon okay?" Mrs Kim

Again I nodded with her and waved forcing a smile to her as she opens the door and leaves my office now leaving me alone with my thoughts and slumping back down into my chair.

I know I have to tell him but now I'm not sure how to. My mind is all over the place one minute I can't tell him and the next I want to. He'll find out one day but now I'm actually more afraid of how he'll react because of the way he's been so far.

But if he knew it's his baby he wouldn't react badly right?
