Homework Academy

Hi guys! So this is my first "story" I guess you could say, I might write some fanfics in my favorite fandoms eventually, but for now let's stick with venting my anger at School through poems. Check out my profile to see what fandoms those are, and hope you guys enjoy!

This is where I'd put a disclaimer except I actually own this and it's 100% mine and original.  A friend of mine edited it though so credit that to her.

—————————————————————————————————————————————————

Suffering suffering,

Here and there,

Torturous lives everywhere.

Homework academy,

Full of tests,

Always work,

And never rest.

Mental wellness,

what a mess,

Pushed to the limit,

With no recess.

Endless studying,

Day and night,

Death to all,

And weary of blight.

Trophies trophies,

Contests too,

Forced on the students,

Each year anew.

Worked to the brink,

But still alive,

To exhaustion all the students sink,

Out of chaos the school does thrive.

While its reputation soars,

The price is being paid,

By those exhausted to the core,

Whose willpower does fade.

Backs aching,

shoulders shaking,

Minds breaking,

Devastation in the making.

The next "chapter" will continue in describing a different aspect of my school that you may or may not be able to relate to, but it's all part of the same poem. The one after that will be a poem about homework, yay! Cause I know how much you all love homework.

Anyway, please comment below! Vote if you liked it, and please no complaints about my terrible poetic meter. My school was like this, I know not all schools are and if this gets popular enough I'll write some poems about the other problems that occur in school. (I.e. bullying, fighting, drug stuff, inappropriate stuff, careless admin, school induced social media crisis, gossip... etc. all of which don't really happen at my school but all you have to do is ask, and tell me about your experiences with school and I'll make it a poem, dedicated to whoever asks for it of course), it just sounds better when it rhymes, don't you think? As long as it rhymes I say, I can fit as many stanzas into it as I want.

P.S. it was dramatic, but again, venting my anger. Plus, it really wasn't that dramatic, not for my school anyway. I was in 6th grade when I wrote this, so no complaints on that front either. For details on when I'll be updating check my profile, and the more comments I get the faster I'll update, thanks for reading! (Sorry for the really long authors notes, they'll get shorter)
