That's what they say

But it's just a bad excuse

To keep us in all day

Some are up early,

Plenty way late

No one is happy

Resigned to our fate

Class after class

The minutes tick down

Concentration like glass

We sit and we frown

Stuck on our butts

Listening to them drone

Making us go nuts

We can't contain our groan

On and on, the lectures go

Work piling up since dawn

Like endless, freezing snow

Our slouching forms are crying

Eyes locked on the screen

Fingers endlessly typing

We make a dreary scene

Cramming stuff into our heads

We sit restless and bored

What would we even do,

With all the information stored?
