Laying in a pool of blood, his anguished screams cried out for you. Being held back by more than ten police officers, was Karkat. Seeing you slowly lift your hand out for him made Karkat struggle harder. He was restrained by handcuffs and sent to the floor. The police yelled their usual spiel that Karkat had heard plenty of times before. This time, the drawl fell upon deaf ears.

Karkat screeched profanities at those whom had restrained him from you. He cursed them and their families for claiming that they were in the right. He remembered your encouraging, enthusiastic and entrancing face.

Flashback-----------------------
After being bailed from prison once again, Karkat hugged your petite form as you waited for him with open arms. Being a troll in a human world was hard. You understood Karkat's reasoning and supported him fully. You loved the nubby horned troll with all of your heart. Your father was less than unsupportive. To both your friendship and Karkat's very existence. So, you ran away with and for Karkat. Karkat was aware of his growing need for your presence. He was surprised by it, but understood that it was red feelings.

You sat with him in his 'office' as he called it. You had been joined by Sollux Nepeta and Kanaya. You started making plans for the riot. All of Karkat's troll friends (and some of his human ones) had agreed to take a part of it. The riot was for troll equality on Earth an on Alternia.

End of flashback-----------------------

The first part had gone to plan. The second part, not so much but it still worked well. The third part was concluded with your shooting. You had been in the front lines holding your flag. Karkat had been on top of the moving Bentley R-type continental. All involved were roaring slogans. Suddenly, someone to your left was shot. Then someone on your right. There was silence as everyone looked at the two dead. Another gunshot. Someone in front of you goes down.

Yet another gunshot. Karkat screams. You turn around and notice him pushing his way in your direction and you notice you're on the ground. Karkat kneels next to you. People start running and soon only Karkat and his closest friends are there with you. His friends are restrained and now so is he. He tries to wiggle to you as you try to drag yourself to him. Half way, you take your last breaths.

Karkat hears your last words as clear as day.
"I'll miss you Karkat, I love you..."
Karkat's screams stopped as he stared into your lifeless eyes.
"__-___? ______ this isn't funny, _____? ______! DON'T DIE ____!"
