Eveline landed on her feet on solid ground. As she stepped into a parking lot, the sun greeted her with an intense warmth that enveloped her like a comforting embrace. Each stride echoed softly against the pavement, accompanied by the rhythmic click of her heels. The asphalt radiated heat, sending shimmering waves upward that distorted the outlines of cars parked nearby. She had a moment to herself, to finally bask in the moment. Hearing her heart pound as if she finished a mile race, her breath fast as her heart. The dried blood on her now emitting a funky smell, the heat from the sun seemed to make it more obvious to her nostrils.
For the mere seconds she had alone, she thought of what just occurred. Her brother, Homelander...Hughie. Each step she took was a thought of concern she made herself worry about.
How was she able to communicate with Daniel? She takes another step...
How did Homelander even get Daniel in the first place? And another step...
Did she really fold under his threat, and believe him just like that? Even more steps, she takes.
...Would she have really made Starlight kill Hughie just to get Daniel?
At that she stopped her movement and looked up at the sky, forgetting the mission as she got lost in her racing thoughts. Fighting the urge to look away as the sun was blinding her due to how strong the sun's ultraviolet and infrared rays are. Her red burnette strands of hair flows in her face giving her slim moments to regain control of her eye sight. Moments such as these were rare to Eveline despite her hidding away in her home for a while. At home she was alone and didn't actually find solace within herself.
As she takes a earthly breath in, she exhales with content, with at least knowing Daniel was safe...alive. After helping Butcher with the mission her next was to get Daniel out of Vought's grasp...Homelander's.
As much as she'd like to dwell in the last seconds of content deathly screams reconnected her to reality. She jumps from the screams in her spot and refocused herself. She follows the screams as good as she can, taking a right turn in the parking lot. She sees an apartment building on her right. Though as she got more closer, she saw destruction only a supe could make. There is a wide gaping hole on the side of the building. After seeing this, she applies more haste in her footsteps, hearing the screams grow louder. Only for them to stop abruptly, with the color purple exploding from within. Along with the sounds of lightning, like the echoes of gunshots.
Eveline runs as fast as she can, finally making it to the gaping whole. She slowly enters as she saw the destruction inside. She puts a hand over her mouth as she gasp at the scene. Two kids dead on the floor along with an adult. It was gruesome, why was this affecting her so bad? She did stuff similar to get what she wanted but there was a subtle difference. She didn't deliberately go put of her way to kill kids as gruesome as what she sees. She knew neither was better but there was pure hatred in these kills, she could tell.
She continues to walk forward, not trying to disturb the room as death was already whisking in the silence. That was until a pleawas heard from her right. The man, assuming the father held put a bloody hand towards Eveline, his eyes trained on the ceiling not knowing who was there. "Help- help me." He pleas, his voice mixed with gurgling sounds.
She looks to the other end of the room and back to the man. She needed to get to the supe fast, because she knew someone else was already after him. He didn't seem like the type to kill innocent people. She bits her lip as she finally decided.
She scurried towards the man on the floor and got on her knees. And recognition went through the man's eyes as he tried to move even further from her.
"I won't hurt you." She whispers. She holds out her hands, trying to show she won't attack. He still held skepticism against but let it be, as his fighting on trying to stay alive was drifting away.
She observed there was a pool of blood on the floor around him, near his head. His eyes look at her as if he was in a daze.
"What happened?" She softly asked.
He coughs viciously as he tries to respond. "Stormfront- I don't know why- why she would-"
Stormfront. She heard about the new supe joining the seven. Something was always off with her. Call it a gut feeling to Eveline but the name Stormfront itself should raise concerns. Due to the name having affiliations with white supremacists and neo-nazism. Could Stormfront have deliberately killed them because of their skin color? Maybe...Eveline just needed to be sure.
Eveline softly hushes the man. "Stop, stop talking, save your breath." She knew he was slowly fading. She wanted to know what happened but not from a dying man.
"My kids-" He urges with a hand outstretched to her. She looks over towards the livingroom- the room and looks down in defeat.
She turns back to the man and grabs his hand and squeezes it. "I'm sorry." She murmurs.
She sees multiple emotions go through the man at once. She hears even more damage to the building as the sits on her knees beside the man.
He gurgles even more on his blood as he closes his eyes. "promise me one thing?" He asks.
"Anything." Eveline says and she continued to hold his hand. The scene was too familiar to her. It haunts her.
"You kill that racist bitch, and hopefully- hopefully you can change."
She was unsure if she could uphold to his promise. She shakes her head. She couldn't even kill Homelander like she promised Daniel. How would she be able to kill another supe? "I don't think I can-"
It was as if he gained a surge of strength. He uses his other hand and firmly holds her shoulders. She looks to her shoulder then back to him. "For- for my kids."
In his last seconds, she slowly nods to him, gulping. "Of course." She says.
Her reassurance, calmed him. And due to he reassurance, his eyes finally glazed over and he slowly falls back down. Before he could hit the floor, Eveline supports his head and body, slowly puts his down.
As more explosions erupted throughout the building, Eveline's anger imploded more and more as she remains on her knees. The family didn't deserve this fate, no one does. But yet again, she found herself confused at her actions. How can she be mad at someone who cares little for casualties like this if she herself didn't care how she got to Homelander back then? Maybe her loneliness did give herself some perspective and thought over her years.
She gets up and gets out of the place through the whole she entered from. This time, the parking lot and everything around it was a mess. Cars honking, alarms blaring, parts of the building now on the concrete. Eveline looks up to see the destruction following a pattern, it led all the was to the top of the building.
She creases her eyebrows inward and gave a scowl at the thought of Stormfront being up there. She takes a few steps back and then runs forward. Propelling herself off the concrete with her hands aiming to the floor. It was as if she jumped off a trampoline full speed and went flying in the air. Her red mystic powers evident in her hands as she aims herself to land on top.
She successfully lands with a slight slip but quickly regains her footing. Though the sight she came upon was unfortunate. The brother of the female was dead, his hands broken at the wrist, blood pouring at a steady pace from it. The female was nowhere to be found.
And who stood over his deas body? The supe the man promised Eveline to kill. "Fucking yellow bastard." Stormfront murmured but was heard by Eveline.
Her abrupt landing seemed to have captured Stormfront's attention. She grinned widely as she saw who stood a few feet from her. "Oh my gosh, it's you!" Stormfront expresses with sarcasm. She point a glove at her as she spoke. "You know, you made my job way easier back then. How you took out a whole neighborhood. Good thing they weren't like us huh?"
Eveline expresses a scowl and looks to the dead supe she needed. "You know you didn't need to kill him- or any of these civilians."
Stormfront seemed shocked at Eveline distaste for the destruction. "They shot at me, and besides I did after you. So this is has your name all over it." Stormfront puckered up her lips as she finishes her sentence.
"My fault?" Eveline retorted, slyly getting into a defensive state. "How is any of this my fault?" Just because people are influenced doesn't mean they should let it dictate how they go about, but for a nazi maybe that's too much to ask.
"You influenced me," Stormfront says as she strolls to Eveline. Eveline remains defensive but didn't show any sign of moving. Stormfront kicks the body out of her way as she continues her way to Eveline. "Hell- In fact you influenced many of my followers. We have the same goal here Eveline."
Eveline looses her guard for a second. "How do you know my name?"
Stormfront waves a hand as she continues walking towards Eveline with confidence and precision. "Oh please, it's not like your a wanted terrorist or anything."
Eveline slightly shook her head with a dry laugh. "We're nothing alike."
"We're not?" Stormfront inquires. "Its funny, you see," She begins, finally making it to Eveline. She got close enough to her, feeling Stormfront's breath on her ear, she begins to whisper. "Last time I checked, you don't care who kill to get to Homelander. I mean- imagine just how strong we three would be together if you just got off your high horse."
Eveline watches as Stormfront took a step back, mere inches from her own face. Stormfront looks at her for a reaction. To which Eveline's eyes light up in red. "I have my reasons not to." She spits out.
Stormfront let's out a laugh. "Ohh, scary. Gonna kill me with those red powers of yours? Its cute."
Eveline shrugs, grinning to herself. "I just might."
"I mean you can try but who would the people believe? A terrorist or a new member of the seven?" Stormfront front groans and places her hands on her hips. "Look, just stop looking like a persistent whore to Homelander and we can sort things out."
"Sort things out?" Eveline had enough. "You killed innocents, a family and you dare say they shot at you? You massacred them in cold blood."
Stormfront stares at Eveline for a few seconds and sighs in disappointment. She lazily tries to take off the blood on her hands. "Takes one to know one hun."
Eveline raises her hand, her recognizable powers forming in her palm. Her eyes show much distaste for the supe in front of her as did her reaction. When Stormfront puts her hand in front of herself and shocks Eveline with her purple plasma protruding from her hands. It reaches Eveline like a lighting blot but stayed painfully persistent.
Eveline simply groans from the pain, getting on her knees. The shock that went through her was painful but her fortunate ability to regenerate herself helped alot in the case. As she quickly got used to the sizzling hot plasma bolts.
Stormfront not knowing this, smirks as she slowly walks back to Eveline. "Are you seriously defending them after what they did to our kind? Its bad enough I've got a few of them rooting for me. Its hurts me, really to have you in a position like this but someone has to take the blame."
Eveline laughs as she slowly stood up, as the plasma shots from Stormfront continues. This reaction makes Stormfront stumble a bit but she glares more harder.
"That's a lot coming from a nazi bitch." Eveline taunts.
Stormfront eyes widen at her words. "How do you-"
At her second of fear, Eveline quickly forms one hand, swinging it in front of her then bringing it to the base of her temple. Much like catching a speeding baseball. Her powers bring Stormfront towards Eveline, her feet dragging against the pebbles that lay on the rooftop. Stormfront relentlessly tries to stop herself from going to Eveline with her plasms shots but it didn't faze her power.
It only made Eveline smile wickedly at her resistance.
Once Stormfront makes it to her, Eveline graps her neck eith her other hand. Raising her in the air, her weight having no impact on Eveline. "I'm going to love killing you." She says, each syllable being pronounced with meaning. Her voice delivering with a mixture of sultry and menace..
Eveline hadn't felt this surge for bloodlust before in long time and it scared her yet intrigued her simultaneously. She told herself this was for the father's promise but she wanted to feel that blood rush again. It has been awhile for her anyway. As the thought of the promise faded, her desire to feel like she ruled the world became more a reality.
Fear was evident in Stormfront's eyes. How was she able to overcome her so swiftly? Her powers didn't even faze Eveline.
A powerful drop on the rooftop catches her attention. She looks past Stormfront's struggling frame and finds Homelander looking at her. His emotion was unreadable. She couldn't tell if he liked what she was doing or ridiculing her.
"Put her down." Homelander commands.
Eveline scoffs and returns her gaze back to Stormfront. Squeezing more and more.
Homelander lowers his head as he spoke, his hands go behind his symbolizing cape. His blond hair remains still, as if the world was persevering his main features. His next words, he speaks with force. "Put her down or I'll kill Daniel." He threatens.
At the mention of his name, Eveline remains frozen. Her grip on Stormfront loosens, and Stormfront coughs, falling to the ground.
Homelander exhales as he looks from her and to the dead supe on the floor. His face remains unfazed yet again. Though she caught a slight twitch from his eyes and he stares at the body.
"Go Eveline." Was all he said.
Her anger was surge up to a million as she tries to walk to Homelander. "Excuse me-"
Homelander spoke calmly despite the anger building inside of him. It's probably a good thing she didn't witness an outburst of his. "I won't ask you again- leave." He demands, his hands forming into a first behind him.
She knew he was true to his word. She couldn't hurt him, nor Stormfront. Daniel will die in retaliation. She hates how she was always a step behind everyone. She looks back and forth from Homelander to Stormfront. Who slowly got up and dusted herself off.
Taking a step back, Eveline turns to her right and slowly walks off, returning her gaze every second or two to see if he was playing a trick on her.
Stormfront as usual, wanted the last words in their confrontation. So she spoke. "Whore."
Maybe not killing Stormfront was a consequence in the long run. She now had two supes on her list, Homelander and Stormfront. Both for promises she had yet to accomplish.

Eveline sluggishly leans against a file cabinet near Butcher, who was looking at a piece of paper. She didn't pay no mind as her eyes remain on the TV. She was worn out, she did too much that day, truthfully they all did. She saw it in their eyes, everyone was tired and just silently watching the consequences of not getting the supe in time.
She wanted to rejoice with Butcher's team but she felt like she would invade in something she wasn't apart of. Especially since she was willingly going to let Starlight kill Hughie to save her own skin, her brother. She didn't think hughie would want to see her after that. But since when did she care about how people perceived her, it was like Stormfront said. Since when did she care, about anything? Maybe being cooped up in a house in the middle of nowhere changed her vision. Or the fact she had proof of Daniel's presence slowed down her bloodthirst.
Oh but she so wanted to kill Stormfront not just because of a promise but because she needed to feel something other than feeling stuck in place. But would she still be the same person if she did kill Stormfront? She felt different with the surge and it scared her. It intrigued her. So much...
Her thoughts where interupted when a hand was placed on her bloodied shoulder. She looks up to see Butcher staring at her with a tiresome expression. He was covered in blood as well, obscuring most of his facial features. Even though, she still felt the message he was giving off to her. That she did alright. The multiple pats he gave on her should was more of a clear indication of it. She smiles for a few seconds at him, then looks back to the tv.
Butcher took her look of silence, that she knew what he meant despite not saying anything. He left them at that and went to the team. Even though they had things they didn't mean to eachother the moment of silence they shared was of a mutual respect. Butcher didn't think she return, giving he's been nothing but an asshole.
But she didn't. She stayed. And that may be just enough for him to understand they all had the same goal, despite their past.
To kill the fucking supes who get outta line.
Eveline's selective hearing perched up when she hears Stormfront speaking on the TV.
"Thank you. But we all know who the real heros of this group are right? The people you see behind you, the people who are struggling every day. So let's give them all a hand."
It seemed Stormfront bit her lip, as if she weren't meant to speak her next words.
"As much as I like to congratulate the real heros we must speak about the real threats. We have not one but two terrorists on American soil. The Executioner."
At her terrorist name, the audience grew loud in gasp. But Stormfront quickly reassured them. She sees in her peripheral, some of Butcher's team eyes her.
"But fear not, one has already perish but the she still roams our streets. And in response, we, Vought want to introduce a surprise to you all. May our youngs one look up to him- heavensent!"
Soon enough, she saw Daniel at the podium with Stormfront, Eveline quickly got up from the cabinet and stares intently to the tv.
Stormfront stands behind him as she speaks, her hands resting on his shoulders. Eveline missed him so much. How his hair parted off to the side and his clothes almost the same as the last time she saw him. They really did pull him out of his grave didn't they?
"He was there when the attack happen, he saved many lives but couldn't save them all. But do not worry, with him on our side, heavensent will be valuable member. He's a psychical representation that God is truly on our side and we will put these terrorists to the ground."
Well, now she has quite a few things to worry about. And one more, failing to see that the supe would stay alive to give to Grace.
How the hell would that go about?
