damocles, part two;
❛ HOMECOMING ❜ ↷ the hundred
❝ I'll see you in a minute ❞

They were driving toward Wells, Monty, Harper and the rest of Wonkru only for a couple of minutes. When they arrived at the camp, Gabriella immediately felt like she was about to throw up. The sight of wounded people bleeding out on the floor and 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳 aiming a gun at them was the first thing she saw.

"Little help, little help, we've got wounded." Murphy announced while he and Jasper carried Gaia towards out.

Harper did not hesitate to run in front of all the guns aimed at them and yell, "Stand down! Stand down! They're with us."

"Monty, where's Jackson?" Bellamy asked, "She's lost a lot of blood."

Gabriella got out in time to see them carry Gaia towards Jackson and let out a tired sigh when she realized they finally got a second to breathe. Her eyes fell on a tired looking Bellamy and despite how much her feet ached, she practically ran towards him.

Her arms wrapped around his neck tightly, too afraid to let go, and he stumbled back in surprise. He blinked dumbly in shock before he wrapped his arms around her waist and squeezed her even tighter. Now, she could finally breathe.

When she pulled away, Bellamy expected for her to step away awkwardly but was even more surprised than before when her hands cupped his cheek and she kissed him.

It was so brief that he was barely able to kiss back. It was rushed but it was a promise that they had stuff to talk about if they ever got to safety. It gave Bellamy just a little bit of hope.

"I love you. I love you." Gabriella blurted out and rested their foreheads together, "And I don't give a shit if you are gonna say it back or not I just need to know that I said it before we all die. I love you. And I want you to know that ever since our first kiss, it hasn't been anyone but you. Not really anyway."

"Okay." Bellamy nodded hurriedly and squeezed her hands before he wiped the tears of relief from her face, "And you are not going to die."

His words made her eyes widen, "What is that supposed to mean? You are not dying either."

"I don't care if I die or not, Gabi." He told her honestly, "I am happy as long as you are alive."

Gabriella looked at him in disbelief but did not get a chance to argue back because people around the rover started whispering between themselves. They were looking at Madi.

Their new Commander.

Madi looked between Gabriella and Bellamy nervously. The two people that her mom told her she always trusted the most. "What do I do?"

"Blodreina is coming!" some exclaimed, "Protect your Commander."

Gabriella was alarmed to see that Octavia was walking towards the young girl with her sword drawn while the Wonkru warriors aimed their guns at her.

Bellamy ❪and much to her own displeasure, Gabriella too❫ stepped in front of Madi, "What are you doing?"

Octavia glared at him, "Out of my way."

"O, she saved us." Bellamy tried to reason, his feet glued to his spot.

Until Madi spoke up and ordered, "Let her pass."

Echo shook her head, "Heda, that is not a good ── "

"I said, let her pass."

Gabriella huffed and then grabbed Bellamy's wrist to drag him away from Madi. They were still right behind them, though. Because, as much as she hated it, Gabriella had no idea what this "new version of Octavia" was capable of.

The Blake sister had tears in her eyes as she looked over her shoulder at her former co-leader. Roan, who was standing in front of the warriors, narrowed his eyes and then gave her a subtle nod. Octavia let out a shaky sigh and then did something that shocked everyone there.

She dropped her sword and kneeled.

The rest of Wonkru and Spacekru soon followed her lead.

-

Echo and Roan have spent the entire night preparing the Wonkru army for the battle. It was just another sleepless night for Gabriella, who stayed by Madi's side since they arrived at camp. They spent the last hour next to Gaia who was the Flamekeeper and Madi's mentor slash spirit guide. ❪ Gabriella only understood the theory behind the Flame so she was not the one to talk about this. ❫

"She's lost a lot of blood, but she's strong. If we can get her to Abby, she should be able to keep the leg." Jackson explained to Indra who immediately went to stand by her daughter's side.

Bellamy entered the tent behind her with a deep frown on his face. He stood behind Gabriella, who was sitting down next to Madi, and placed his hands on her shoulders to give her a comforting squeeze.

His gaze shifted to the girl next to her, "It's time, Madi." He kneeled in front of her, "Everyone will follow you, but you have to lead them."

Madi's eyebrows furrowed, "I don't want to lead them into a massacre."

"We have the numbers, Heda." Indra informed her, "As long as we press forward, we'll make it through."

Gabriella squeezed her hand and said, "We will be right beside you the entire time."

She shook her head, "I'm not worried about myself. Look around you. There has to be a better way than rushing back into those guns."

"If there is, we would've thought of it." Indra pointed out before all of them turned their attention to Gaia when a soft whisper escaped her lips.

"Ask the commanders."

"How, Seda?" Madi asked, her voice desperate, "They only talk to me in my dreams and show me what they want me to see."

Gaia's eyes were now completely open as she cupped her cheek, "Close your eyes."

"Gaia, we don't have time ── " Bellamy tried to say, only for Indra to cut him off.

"Just wait."

Indra and Gaia exchanged knowing looks before the latter turned to Madi, "Breathe. In and out." She instructed, "Let this world peel away. And repeat after me. My mind is your mind."

"My mind is your mind." The brunette repeated and a second later, flinched and then fell into some type of trance. Gabriella watched with wide eyes, now glad that she only knew the theoretical side of the Flame. Because this stuff was creepy. Madi's eyes opened and she confidently stated, "I have a plan."

"Of course you do."

-

"I don't see any missiles." Murphy noted while they were driving towards McCreary's camp, "Thank you, Clarke."

"Now it's our turn." Bellamy said while he, Gabriella, Wells and Echo sat in the backseat with guns in their hands.

Originally, Gabriella was not going to let anyone else drive the rover but after Emori begged her to, she let it slide and decided to be a shooter instead of the getaway driver that time. It has been a while since she has been in a real battle anyway.

"Someone explain to me why I'm not shooting this gatling gun." Murphy grumbled from the passenger seat the second McCreary's men started shooting at them.

Bellamy huffed in annoyance, "This is Madi's plan. We have to draw out the cannons."

"By giving them a big target?" Murphy asked sarcastically, "Yeah, that's a great plan."

"Ye of little faith." Echo commented before the rover shook violently which made Gabriella snap.

"Don't crash the rover!"

"Sorry." Emori mumbled and bit her lip in concentration before parking it right in the middle of the battlefield.

"You were saying?"

Bellamy looked at her in confusion, "What's wrong? We're not close enough. Why are we stopping?"

"They got the engine." Emori yelled in frustration and slapped the wheel, "Damn it! Murphy, get away from the windshield!"

Murphy got in the back and exclaimed, "Ready to strike. Big gun. Go! Now! Be heroes."

Echo had her bow and arrow in her hand while Gabriella, Bellamy and Wells were ready to shoot at the enemies with their rifles.

"We don't have a shoot." Bellamy clenched his jaw because they were, in fact, too far away to actually use their guns.

"I do." Echo said and muttered something under her breath before shooting her arrow right at the big gun that belonged to McCreary's men.

Gabriella stared at amazement as the fun exploded and then said, "We need to get closer."

"Got it." Murphy nodded, "You and Bellamy go. I will cover for you."

He rushed to the front seat and Emori quickly rushed after him, "Murphy, you'll get hit!"

They did not hear the rest of their bickering because Murphy immediately started shooting from the big gun while screaming like a mad man.

"I'll be right behind you." Echo told Gabriella and Bellamy, "If you miss, I'll never let you live it down."

Bellamy scoffed, looking rather offended ❪ and extremely hot ❫, "I won't miss."

Before Gabriella could say a snarky remark to mock him, he grabbed her hand and dragged her towards a big rock a few meters in front of the rover.

"John, cease fire!" Gabriella yelled the second Echo reached them.

"Still no cannon." Echo panted, "What do we do now?"

Bellamy looked over the rock and turned back to them a second later with a typical Bellamy Blake cocky smirk. He made eye contact with Gabriella and stated, "Now we win."

She smirked right back, knowing what that meant. They took the cannon out. Both of them got to their feet and rapidly started shooting in hopes that one of them would manage to shoot it. When a big explosion went off, they knew they did it.

-

"Weapons down!" Bellamy ordered loudly as they entered McCreary's camp with their guns aimed at his men, "Put your weapons down now."

They all immediately started surrendering by dropping their weapons and getting on their knees in front of them.

"Kill them all." Madi ordered and Gabriella wishes she actually thought twice about it and was not going to start shooting without hesitation if it was not for Bellamy stepping in.

"Halt!" He yelled, "Hold your fire. They surrendered. It's over."

"They killed hundreds of our people in that gorge." Madi pointed out, nothing but anger on her face.

And tortured her and Raven. And probably her dad. And then tried to kill them after Clarke betrayed them. They were definitely not on their side and as long as McCreary was not out here surrendering, things were far from over.

Bellamy looked at her in disbelief, "This can't be what the flame is telling you to do."

Madi scoffed, "I don't need the flame to tell me what to do with a bunch of criminals who invaded my home."

"We've been here before, Madi." Bellamy started softly, "We were the criminals." He looked over Madi's head to look at his sister and then at Gabriella before he looked back at Madi. "The hundred. We landed in someone else's home, and we went to war. You can execute them because they're the enemy or you can break the cycle. You can be better than them. You can be better than us. The choice is yours, Heda."

Before she was able to make that choice, a loud alarm started ringing through the camp.

"What the hell is that?" Gabriella asked no one in particular and looked around warily.

"The evac signal." An unknown man told her, "It means conditions are unsafe. We are supposed to bug out."

"Everyone listen up." Raven's voice rang through the speaker, "Life as we know it is about to end...again. Get your asses to the transport ship now for immediate evacuation."

Not this bullshit again.

Monty's voice was heard from the speaker next, "Raven, it's Monty. We're transporting the wounded."

"Thank Good, Monty. Hurry!"

"Wait, wait, wait. Stop a second! It's slow going. So, putting aside a thousand other questions, how long do we have?"

"Nine minutes. We'll wait as long as we can."

Gabriella refused to do that shit again. There was no way in hell that she was leaving one of her friends behind like she did with Clarke six years ago. She was not getting on that ship without every single member of her family being on it.

-

Clarke was the first person Gabriella saw when they got to the ship. And she immediately ran to hug Madi.

"Everyone, get on the ship now!" She instructed when she pulled away from her daughter.

Echo gave her a wide-eyed look, "Clarke, what is this? What's going on?"

"I'll tell you inside." Clarke brushed her off and snapped her gaze towards the crowd of McCreary's men who were getting on the ship too, "No! Not them."

"Yes, them." Madi pushed, "First we save their lives, then we let them prove they deserve it."

Clarke swallowed, "The commanders told you that?"

"No." She shook her head, "Bellamy."

The Griffin looked at Bellamy, opening her mouth to say something but stopping herself when she saw the cold look in his eyes. When she looked at Gabriella, she was disappointed to see that she was avoiding her gaze too.

❪ But what else was new? ❫

-

Gabriella and Bellamy stood outside impatiently. The former was too worried to even think rationally at the moment. First, Wells, Murphy, Emori, Monty and Harper were missing and now she found out that her dad and Abby were not on the ship yet.

"You have to forgive her." Madi's soft voice broke Gabriella out of her messy train of thoughts.

"Now's not the time, Madi." She dismissed her, the annoyed edge in her voice making it clear that she was not in the mood to talk about Clarke. Also known as the ex best friend who stabbed her in the back too many times to even count.

Madi still kept pushing. "Do you have any idea how much she cares about you?"

Bellamy avoided her gaze and kept scanning the clearing in front of her, "So much that she left Wells and I to die in a fighting pit."

"That was a mistake. How many mistakes did you make to protect the child you loved?"

His jaw clenched. Clarke really told that girl everything. "That was different."

She raised an eyebrow, "Was it?" She turned to Gabriella, directing her words only to her, "I shouldn't tell you this, but when you were on the ring, she called you and Wells on the radio every day for six years. You didn't know that, did you?" She tore her eyes away from her shocked face to look at Bellamy. "And she considers you to be one of her best friends. She would never put your life in danger unless there was no other way. Didn't you do the same when it came to Octavia?"

Well, that gave Gabriella a lot to unpack.

"There!" Echo's yell made them turn their attention back to the current situation.

Octavia yelled from the distance, "We need help!"

Gabriella and Echo were the first to start running to her, Abby, Miller and Kane who was laying in a bed unconscious. His daughter instantly gasped, her eyes going wide. Bellamy was at her side in an instant, growing worried at the sight of the unconscious man.

"What happened to Kane?" he demanded while they rushed him towards the ship.

"Mom, I didn't know." Clarke was quick to say, making Gabriella snap.

"That isn't important right now." She held eye contact with Abby, "What the fuck happened to my dad, Abby?"

She brushed her off, "That is not important. He needs help."

"I can see that!"

"The mothership has an OR if I can get up there, I can save him." Abby said which caused her to push the bed faster.

"What was that?" Miller asked when an explosion was heard in the distance.

"Sonic boom." Bellamy told him, "It's close. We have to hurry."

"Ella! Bellamy!" they heard Harper's voice in the distance, "We're here! We need help with the wounded!"

"Get him onto the ship." Gabriella instructed, "We will be back in a minute."

"You don't have a minute!" Jasper snapped, his voice shaky "I don't want to lose all of you today."

Gabriella sighed and sternly told him, "We will be fine. Just go inside."

"Where are the others?" Bellamy asked Harper when she reached them.

"Murphy was hit. We didn't have a stretcher for him, but they're coming. They have to be."

Gabriella's blood ran cold.

"John was what?"

Harper gave her a look of sympathy before she rushed inside.

Gabriella rarely cried in stressful situations but this time, she was one dead friend closer to a mental breakdown.

"Uh, guys? Look up." Raven's voice made her turn her attention to the incoming bomb, "We can't wait. We have to close the door."

"Ella! Bellamy!" Clarke yelled at the only two people there who refused to go inside until every single one of their friends was there.

"We are not going anywhere without them." Gabriella yelled.

"We have to go."

"Clarke, you do what you have to." Bellamy told her, "I am not leaving my friends."

"Same goes for me." She nodded and looked over her shoulder to give her a solemn look, "I can't do that again."

"Clarke, we need to fire the engines. Close the door or I will."

Clarke whispered something neither of them were listening to into the radio.

Gabriella did not know if she could live knowing that she left Wells, Emori, Murphy and Monty on Earth to die. Just like she did with Clarke. Grief was one thing but it became a lot worse when you mix it with guilt.

"There is no more time. Tell Bellamy and Ella to get in the damn ship. Clarke, I don't want to do this either, but I'm firing the thrusters."

Just as the words escaped her lips, Wells and Monty, carrying Murphy, came into sight with Emori right behind them. Gabriella swore she never felt more relief than she did when her eyes fell on them.

"There they are!" she and Bellamy exclaimed at the same time and the former immediately rushed to them.

He took Monty's place and helped Wells carrying a barely conscious Murphy to the ship.

"Raven, they're in. Go for launch." Clarke spoke into the radio the second they all got inside the ship.

The ship launched just a couple of seconds before their planet went up in flames. Again.

But Gabriella was not too concerned about it because she was too busy wrapping her arms around Wells and Emori while Harper threw her arms around Monty. They were all okay.

-

Gabriella just finished checking up on Kane and Murphy and then started taking a walk around the ship with Bellamy by her side. That was when they caught sight of Clarke sitting alone on the floor in the middle of criminals that she probably did not know the names of.

"Should we...?" Bellamy trailed off while narrowing his eyes at her.

"Yeah." Gabriella sighed softly and made her way towards Clarke.

She looked surprised to see them but clearly tried to hide it by asking about Murphy, "How's Murphy?"

"Jackson got both bullets out." Gabriella explained shortly, "He is gonna be fine. Like he always is. We left him with Emori. And they put Kane into cryo-sleep until they figure out what to do with him. He doesn't look good."

"I'm sorry, Ella." Clarke said, not saying specifically why but meaning it about a lot of things. "Putting him into cryo was a good call."

"Of course it was." Bellamy chuckled to himself, "She suggested it."

A small amused smile appeared on Clarke's face. She was happy that at least some things never changed.

Bellamy hesitated before blurting out, "You should come to the bridge later. We're deciding the fate of the human race. Again. You should be there."

"Yeah." Gabriella agreed, "You were there every other time we had to make a major decision. You should be there now too."

"You're not mad at me for leaving you in Polis and for almost getting you killed?" Clarke asked them, too shocked to do anything other than stare between the former couple.

"The commander ordered us not to be." Bellamy said with an awkward smile.

Clarke gave them a ghost of a smile and nodded, "I'll meet you on the bridge."

Gabriella watched her walk away with zero annoyance or anger on her face. She was glad that there was no bad blood between them anymore. Now she just had to talk Wells into forgiving her. But that probably won't be so hard. The second she tells him about the radio calls, he will probably start crying like a baby.

-

"It's gone, guys." Bellamy stated and all of them finally took their eyes off of the spot that was the only green place on Earth before they got their hands on it and did what they did best. Destroy everything.

Raven softly ordered, "Close it up, Shaw."

"Like our ancestors on The Ark, we're the last of the human race."

Gabriella sighed at Bellamy's words, "I don't know about you guys, but I see this as really really bad karma."

Clarke almost chuckled, "Our ancestors were wrong. We're not."

"That," Jasper pointed at Clarke with a grin, "that is good karma."

"Four hundred and twenty people on this ship. Thanks to Madi, we saved who could be saved. Now it's our job to keep them alive." Bellamy raised an eyebrow at Madi, "How do we do that?"

"Algae?"

Gabriella immediately grimaced while Murphy groaned, "Oh, float me now."

"Can I...?" Shaw raised his hand in the air which caused Gabriella to snort.

"Someone has to."

Shaw let out a surprised chuckle, "I meant if I could say something."

"Oh." She blinked and then shrugged, "Sure, you could do that too."

Wells patted her on the shoulder and muttered, "Smooth."

"From what we know about the half-life of hythylodium, it'll be at least ten years before that valley comes back, this ship does have a small water recycler and a few weeks' worth of rations, but that's it. Cryo is the only option. There are five hundred pods, which is more than enough for what we need." Shaw explained.

Raven nodded, "I agree with Shaw. The tech is amazing. We go to sleep, we don't age, we wake the next morning, It's ten years later. And Bob's your uncle."

Monty grinned at her, "I thought you hated that phrase."

She shrugged and rolled her eyes playfully, "It's growing on me."

"I'm happy to see that at least one of us still has pessimism in our vocabulary." Gabriella gave her a sarcastic grin, "And I am also happy that it's me. How the hell is cryo-sleep a good idea? What if we all wake up in ten years and realize that the valley is still as crispy as Jasper's hair was when he tried to bleach it?"

"There is a ten percent chance that the valley won't go back to normal." Shaw said, "And if it doesn't, we will figure everything out when we wake up."

"It's up to you, Madi." Bellamy told the younger girl softly.

Madi looked between everyone and then settled her eyes onto Clarke. After getting a nod of approval from her mom, she announced, "Okay. I guess it's time for bed."

-

"I'm sorry I jumped you." Gabi's voice snapped Bellamy out of his thoughts. He looked up to see her standing in the doorway with her hands crossed in front of her chest and a nervous and sheepish smile playing on her lips. She came a long way from the fiery blonde who refused to be vulnerable around anyone ── let alone him. "I just..." She squinted at the floor as she tried to find a way to tell him what she wanted to say in the right way. She still kind of had a problem with voicing her emotions but she was getting there. "All this time we were apart, I had no idea if you were dead or alive and I was worried sick the entire time. But when Monty told me you went missing I felt like I was dying. I could not think of anything other than getting back to you." Gabi let out a sigh and nervously shifted on her feet, "And that feeling made me realize I am still not over you. Hell, I don't think I am ever going to be able to get over you. You also have every right to reject me and say that you don't love me back anymore. I can deal with unrequited love." She shrugged, "And who knows, maybe I will even get over it while I sleep for ten years."

Bellamy stared at her with his eyes and mouth wide open. He had no idea what to say. And not many people had the ability to leave Bellamy Blake speechless but that seemed to be something that the woman in front of him was very good at. "Why can you only admit how you feel during the end of the world?"

She let out a breathy chuckle, "I guess that my walls have been up for such a long time that sometimes I forget I don't need them with you." Her face fell and anxiousness flashed across her face, making him frown in confusion. "But it's also because I don't want to go into cryo sleep without getting a mistake I made off of my chest." Murphy was telling Emori right now and she thought she should tell Bellamy at the same time. "I kissed John."

That was the moment Bellamy's life came crashing down. He thought that their break up was his biggest heartbreak but now he realized he was wrong. All of his fears came true the seconds those three little words escaped the lips of the woman he loved.

"Can you just leave?" He asked but his voice cracked a little bit, making him clear his throat. He did not want her to know she hurt him. He wanted to sound harsh, annoyed and dismissive. A big part of him wanted to hurt her as much as she hurt him but he also knew that he was not able to do that. "I don't feel like fighting before we go to sleep for ten years."

"We don't need to fight. I'm gonna talk and you're gonna listen." Gabriella told him, her chin raised high. She did not want to go to sleep for ten years without getting everything off of her chest. She did not want to have any regrets. "Before John left with Jaha years ago and I wasn't aware of how deep my feelings for you were, I chose him and then when he left, I found my way to you. Every time I tried to move on you reminded me why I couldn't. That was something that never changed. You broke my heart and even though I ended up kissing John because I wasn't thinking straight...I found my way to you." she chuckled with a small hopeful smile when she saw the way his eyes slowly lit up, "Somehow I always find my way back to you."

Falling for Murphy came slowly and she only realized her feelings for him after a while of them being close friends. It was like riding a bike. But falling for Bellamy was like a damn car crash. But, Gabriella did not mind one bit.

"So when you kissed Murphy none of those old feelings came back?" Bellamy asked her hesitantly. It was not that he did not believe her. He did. But he did not want to start something with her again if there was a slight chance that she still loved Murphy.

"No." Gabriella said and huffed out a laugh, "If anything, it made me realize that I stopped loving him a long time ago." She placed a hand on his face to cup his cheek, "And it also made me realize that I could never love anyone the way that I love you."

Bellamy's eyes were soft, full of nothing but love and adoration as his walls crumbled down before her eyes. He looked like he needed to hear those words, her reassurance, for a long time. Finally he smiled softly and said, "I don't think I ever loved anyone other than you so I guess we're even." She let out a happy and relieved chuckle which caused his heart to beat even faster. "God, I love you." He sighed and wrapped his arms around her waist to pull her closer. Their noses brushed against each other and they both closed their eyes, trying to savor this feeling as long as possible. Slowly but surely, Bellamy finally kissed her.

It was so much different than the first kiss they ever shared. That one was fast and filled with lust, passion and a need to feel something other than grief. But this one was soft and filled with nothing other than love and want. Bellamy was the only person that could make her safe with a single kiss while also making her feel like her entire body was on fire.

"Even though I wish that we could stay here forever..." Gabriella breathed against his lips after she pulled away, "there are other people who I need to talk to before we go to sleep."

"Like who?" Bellamy furrowed his eyebrows.

"Like Emori and...Octavia." she told him, a little hesitant to bring up his sister and one of her good friends, "I know she changed and that you can't look at her the same anymore but she is still the same person to me. I wasn't in the bunker and I have only heard stories about the Red Queen." She looked down, "I want to see if she really changed that much for myself."

"Do whatever you want to do, Artemis." He squeezed her hand, "I'll be waiting for you next to the cryo-chambers."

-

Gabriella watched Octavia go from a curious and reckless teenage girl to a fierce and stubborn warrior in a span of a few months. And six years later, she was not just a strong warrior anymore ── she was a leader.

And in all honesty, Gabriella does not know the exact reason she could not look at her with fear in her eyes like everyone else had. To her, she was still Octavia. Maybe it was because of the familiar Blake glint in her eyes or the fact that she always thought of her like the little sister she almost had. It didn't matter because when she looked at her sitting on a floor, leaning against a metal wall, not a single cell in her body hesitated to join her.

"Hey, Tavi." She greeted her with a surprising amount of warmth in her voice, "How are you holding up?"

"You're talking to me."

An amused smirk appeared on her lips, "I'm glad to see that you are still as observant as ever."

"Bellamy hates me." Octavia stated bluntly, "Everyone does. So, why are you here? Aren't you afraid that I am going to slit your throat?"

Gabriella instantly saw through her empty threat and raised an unimpressed eyebrow, "I'm not afraid of you, Octavia. I don't see a reason to be, anyway. I didn't do anything to you. We were friends six years ago and I don't see why that would change. You aren't a threat to people unless they do something that threatens you."

Octavia stared at the smiling blonde with wide eyes, "Do you talk to all mass murders like that?"

"Just the ones that I spent six years missing." She shot back and nudged their shoulders together, "I can't believe you didn't even hug me."

It was only now that she realized that there were tears in Octavia's eyes and before she got to comment on it, the brunette threw her arms around her neck and hugged her tightly.

"I missed you." she muttered.

"I missed you too, Tavi."

-

While Bellamy was putting Octavia to sleep, Gabriella took her time saying goodbye to Murphy, Raven and Wells. Jasper was currently having a surprisingly emotional goodbye with Harper and Monty so Gabriella used the time that everyone was distracted to talk to Emori.

"John talked to you, right?" She asked the second she was sure no one was listening to their conversations, "And he told you how sorry I am? And how it didn't mean anything? And how I regret every second of it? Because you know that I would never hurt you on purpose, right?"

Emori surprised her by letting out a breathy chuckle, "He told me everything. At first I was mad, and kind of slapped him, but when he explained that it was in the heat of the moment I softened a little." She felt her face grow hot as she looked down and admitted. "And he kind of told me he loved me so we are kind of back together."

"That's amazing!" Gabriella exclaimed and gave her a short but tight hug, "I would have hated myself if I ruined our friendship or got in the way of you getting back together. If anyone here deserves happiness, it's you."

The brunette grinned at her, "Thanks, Ella."

"I'm going to say a quick goodbye to Harper and Monty before going to sleep." She told her, "I'll see you later, Mori."

She gave her one last grin and skipped over to Monty and Harper who were having a quiet conversation.

"Hey, guys." She narrowed her eyes, "Am I interrupting?"

Monty shook his head, "No, of course not. We will say our goodbyes after everyone else is asleep."

"Oh, okay." Gabriella nodded in understanding, "I'll see you in a minute then, lovebirds."

After giving each of them a hug ❪ the hugs that she later wishes would have lasted longer ❫ and then walks over to her chamber.

Bellamy was already waiting for her there because of their chambers being next to each other. He placed a lingering kiss on her lips and brushed a strand of blonde hair away from her eyes. "I know it's cliche but I hope I dream of you."

A small smirk tugged at her lips before she gave him another kiss, "I bet you will."

He chuckled and moved so she could lay on her bed. His warm grin was the last thing she saw before she fell into a long and peaceful sleep.

a/n: it feels good to have gabi and bellamy back together tbh

season five is finally over! this was probably my most messy season along with season four but I really liked how I tied together her relationships with emori, clarke and octavia so that season six can feel like a fresh start where she finally doesn't have beef with anyone lol

I wanna hear your theories for season six though so leave them here before the trailer drops!
