Though the summer's agonizing heat always left Han Jisung burning up in bed, that factor still never gave him the motivation to leave his comfy bed. The slender electric fan that only turns one hundred eight degree covering specific parts of his room gave him enough cool air to keep him from suffering. The nineteen year old boy was lucky enough to have a day off from work, hustling and bustling in the café wasn't the most amusing part of his day. Yet, time did fly quicker as he worked in the café.

Sprawled lazily out on his bed, Jisung runs five fingers through his messy hair. Some strands of hair stick to his forehead due to sweat forming on his golden skin. The droplets that lay on his skin begin to bother the boy, using his shirt his hand grips onto the fabric and swipes the droplets away. The sweat stain marking his grey tank top, the boy only sighs his day away due to the disgusting heat that fills his room. "I would open the window, but my gut is telling me the air is even hotter than whats flowing in here..." Even with the two pieces of fabric that cover his body, one being his teddy bear boxers and grey tank top doesn't help with the heat.

Though he wasn't doing anything at the moment, Jisung wasn't necessarily lazy. He had his days where productivity was pouring within his room. In all means, the brunette was a stay-at-home type person, he didn't need to be outside every second of the ongoing day or night. His bed was his safe haven, the door that keeps his privacy contained is what he appreciates most. Though he lived with two other roommates, they respected his turf and were understanding when it came to his alone time.

Well, most of the time.

There were some days were college work and balancing out his free time was a difficult job for Jisung. The time that should consist of working on assignments with too soon deadlines and heavy loaded work. The brunette would blank out for minutes, staring at his ceiling questioning why he decided to complete work so late when he had days to get it out of his way. The majority of his work is sent in online, eyes glued to his computer screen in the dark was not a pleasant time for him. His fingers smashing away on the keyboard, scratching his head time to time out of frustration as he compiles words together in order to make a decent essay to turn in. The stressed filled groans that echo through his room always catches one roommate's ears attention.

That's when nineteen year old Kim Seungmin barges in, his instincts when it comes to Jisung are scarily spot on and he knows when the boy hasn't eaten. So whenever he's preparing breakfast or lunch, he takes the time to create a plate for his unorganized roommate. Yet, the three boys who lived in the apartment always ate dinner together so it wasn't a worrying thought that crosses Seungmin's mind.

It's late Monday morning, Seungmin taps his foot on the hardwood floor with his hands crossed sassily. His tongue pokes into the inside of his cheek, eyebrow lifting as he stares at the guilty boy in bed. "You haven't ate, huh?" He questions, knowing he'll receive the same answer each time.

"No..." Jisung always feels a pang of guilt hit his chest. He's acknowledged the fact that Seungmin would always make food for him when his stomach was empty. Even if he shouted 'no!' millions of times the younger would still go out of his way to prepare a delicious meal for him to enjoy. "I'm trying to finish some assignments, I know if I don't I'm gonna end up turning them in late."

"Jisung, you really need to plan your day out rather than sitting in bed. It's a good habit that you should pick up." Seungmin scolds, but his words don't play out as harsh. Rubbing against Jisung's skin as if he's trying to hurt him, the squirrel boy knows he's only worried because he cares. "It's unhealthy, you also have work tomorrow so you're going to be staying up late. I know you."

"I know, you know." Jisung sighs, once again wiping off the forming sweat on his forehead. "You always know and of course you're always right." As the boy cracks a defeated smile, "But I'll go to bed at a reasonable time tonight so don't worry. I'm old enough to know my limits."

Seungmin can only sigh from his friend's words, "Alright, but I'm going to the grocery store. We're running low on some items so I'm going to stock up for the week. Need anything?"

"Anything is fine, snacks and such would be good for when I'm working."

"I told you to stop eating in your room, not only you will be sleeping in here but little critters as well." The younger tells, but Jisung argues back with his statement.

"But you're the one who brings food into my room, that's somewhat implying that it's okay for me to eat in here." Jisung states, snapping his finger as he makes his point.

Seungmin only rolls his eyes, "Whatever, I'll be back soon. Remember Felix is out suffering in class so you're alone for the next hour or so."

"It's not the first time I've been alone here." Jisung points out, Seungmin only shrugs before leaving his room. He could hear his roommate getting ready to head out in his room that is not too far down, once Seungmin is done cleaning himself up. He walks back into Jisung's room to remind him he's heading out. "See you later." The boy tells, Seungmin waves a hand and goes along with his day.

While for Jisung, the pleasing sound of his fingers typing away on his keyboard is what fills his ears. He couldn't forget the small amount of sighs that came with it. But, even with the hand cramps and head aching assignments. He uses this time wisely to catch up with the amount of motivation he has within him right now.

Jisung finally was being productive for the day.

Two hours later and Jisung has made a dramatic change within his assignments page for his classes. For each class, there was at least two assignments less than before. And with the workload they hold, he was quite proud that he was able to push through without any whine. But, he still hasn't eaten and most importantly, hasn't had his daily dosage of water. So he slowly lifts himself up from his bed, ensuring his pace won't make his head ache. Opening the door and being hit with the kitchen light on, it was one less job for him to do. He opens one of the cabinets to grab a glass cup, he proceeds walk on over to grip onto the kitchen fridge's handle and yank it open. Grabbing the pitcher to pour himself a fresh cup of water. Drinking it within one go, he pours himself another to then chug that cup as well.

Now, food wise Jisung wasn't a master when it came to preparing meals. Him and Felix would usually weigh that job on Seungmin, which the boy didn't mind since he enjoyed the activity. Instead of making a proper meal, he decides to snack on some chips and other unhealthy things until Seungmin gets home. The clock is about to strike three p.m soon so he's sure the boy would has a thought of what they're having tonight.

"Wonder what we're eating tonight. Felix should be home soon as well, his classes ended at two fifty five." The brunette talks to himself, stuffing himself with chips as he's comfortably bend over on the kitchen counter. "Seungmin doesn't take this long when it comes to grocery shopping though. He's in, then out. I wonder what's taking him so long." As he begins to become curious.

He tries to slip his hand into his nonexistent short's pocket to grab his phone, but he realizes he's left it in his room on his bed. Contemplating if he should go back, he lifts his hand and slaps the air lightly as he decides not to. Jisung decides to stop snacking too much before dinner and cleans up the mess he's created. After that, he walks into the living room to try and pass time until Seungmin or Felix gets home.

Yet it seemed as if he didn't need to wait long, because as he's about to pick up the TV remote from the coffee table, he hears the familiar voice of the younger brunette. Eyebrows lifting from curiosity, he makes his way towards the door and opens it slowly. He could say the air was much cooler than before and he enjoyed the breeze hitting his skin, but as he steps out barefoot to check around the area. He spots Seungmin carrying his usual three grocery bags that are packed with items. He's conversing with a boy a couple door downs, squinting his eyes to make out who it is. It's not like he'll know anyways, his features didn't ring a bell at all.

"Hey Seungmin!" Jisung shouts, walking a bit closer to see the boy wave back at him with a smile. He moves out of the other boy's frame and Jisung could finally see him clearly.

The way his gaze pierced Jisung made the boy freeze, the stare he was giving him was quite scary. More of, cold. Yet, they softened slowly and the intimidating dark chestnut eyes morphed into sweet ones, ones that Jisung swore held galaxies in them. It was all going well until Seungmin introduces Jisung, he comes a bit closer to awkwardly shake the boy's hand. "Nice to meet you." Jisung greets, "Are you moving in by yourself?"

"Nice to meet you as well. I'm Minho. But no, I'm with two other roommates." He clarifies, Jisung nods his head from the response. "But, can I say? Nice underwear. It's a fashion statement alright."

Jisung looks down and his eyes view can only stare at his teddy bear boxers, sighing harsher than usual. He turns his back around and lifts up a hand as a sign as goodbye, "And this is why I stay inside.." As he begins to walk back to their apartment.

Minho lifts a brow and looks at his new friend Seungmin, the boy can only shrug. "Don't mind him, he's like that. It was nice meeting you though, I have to start cooking dinner for my two idiot roommates."

"Mind if we join you? Or is the request too late." Minho questions as he proceeds to pick up the boxes that lay in front of his feet.

"Maybe another day, I don't think Jisung would want to face you after the incident. We could order pizza and get to know each other some other time." Seungmin offers, Minho smiles from the given option.

"Seems like a plan, I'll see you around."

"See you." As Seungmin walks back to the open apartment door which Jisung recklessly left unsecured.

As Seungmin steps inside, he doesn't realize that when speaking to his new neighbor Lee Minho it has caused an unexpected turn for the boy's life. Both for his and his roommate Han Jisung.
