Evan's POV
I smiled as I leaned over staring down at the ground on the deck it was a cool summer night the wind was light as it hit your face you would feel refreshed "hey you gonna stand out there all night or come in here" my roommate Brock asked "yeah just a second" I reply as I stared at the moon the moonlight shining on me "love night because it stops all the worries you had during the day and reassures you that it over and you don't have to worry that you may fall asleep and not wake up or that tomorrow is another day where you can make it the best" I say as I sighed knowing that tomorrow might be like any other day for me "hey you matter just as much as anyone else in this apartment" Brock said as he patted my back "yeah I guess I'm not the best with heartbreak" I say remembering the pain of the past two weeks. Out of the corner in my eye I saw something fly across I looked up "a shooting star wish for something nice Ev" Brock said with a smile I stared up at it I didn't know what to wish for before something came to mind
Happiness
"I think I'm ready to head back inside" I said as we walked back inside it was hard to see because there was only on light one at the moment the place was fairly clean but still pretty dirty at the same time "Hey where's Lui at" I ask realizing the hyper little man was no where to be found "I think he's on a date with ya know who" Brock said with a smirk "ugh finally i was getting so sick of them trying to hide feelings for each other" I laughed taking a seat on the couch "you hear about the new professor" Brock asked I shook my head no "he starts tomorrow taking Mrs.Tobias's spot in technology" great the most sweet and loving teachers leaves college I thought at least I have only two years left "what's his name" I ask "Mr.Del"
"Why does he call himself that" Brock shrugged "kinda funny if you ask me" he chuckled I sigh "anyway I'm going to bed" I stand heading to my room "night" Brock chirped I set my alarm and put pj on and let darkness consume me as I slipped away from the world into my own mind
