JUNGKOOK

Jungkook is lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling. It's morning and he's trying to collect his thoughts and get his ass to work. Even though it seems impossible at the moment.

Jimin has tried calling him multiple times, but he never answered. The younger doesn't know if it's guilt or hate that's stopping him from hearing his best friend out.

Mostly hate probably.

Jungkook hates himself as well for convincing his brain that Jimin is just using him. Not like a friend but like an escape from reality. And he hates it.

After having dozed off for a few minutes, he sits up with a groan before going to the wardrobe.

Taehyung still needs him.

Time skip

JUNGKOOK/TAEHYUNG/JIMIN

Jungkook walks through the door to the station, keeping his head low. He knows Jimin is there somewhere and he would like to avoid him... for now.

He successfully makes his way to Taehyung's room, looking through the glass window. The boy is allowed to leave the room, but he has been fighting anyone who has tried to get close to him. Everyone except for Jungkook of course.

The raven picks up the tray and walks inside.

"Good morning Taehyung," Jungkook's voice cracks slightly. He's tired and his voice is already failing him. The said male is just lying still, ignoring Jungkook's presence.

The elder sighs and sits down, leaning his head against the wall. His eyes flutter shut while he keeps breathing harder than intended through his nose.

Taehyung seems to react to that for some reason. He turns slowly and looks at the other boy, taking in his normal beauty. But that beauty is... not like usually. The elder has huge bags under his eyes, his skin seems oily and his hair is falling lazily over his forehead like he just went out of bed.

Taehyung is just about to crawl over to him and ask what's wrong as the door is kicked open. The younger scrambles back in fear, hiding in the corner.

Jungkook flinches and opens his eyes.

Jimin is standing in the door, breathing as if he has just run a marathon. Jungkook's eyes widen as he sees the elder's tear-stained cheeks, red eyes, and trembling lips.

"Jimi-"

"He's in the hospital-" Jimin almost whispers. His eyes seeking the floor.

"Who-"

"Yoongi... he's in the hospital!" the blonde starts sobbing, trying to dry his tears in vain. Jungkook stumbles onto his legs, taking two seconds to wrap his arms around his friend.

"It's my fault! He did it- he-"

"Shhhh, Jimin... come on, let's go outside," Jungkook calms the elder. He gives Taehyung a final apologizing glance before stepping outside with his hyung. Taehyung is still shocked in the corner, he almost freaked out. But seeing someone else that broken made him freeze on sight. Is it really normal?

Time skip

JUNGKOOK/JIMIN

"Jimin! You need to calm down! Talk to me-" Jungkook has dragged Jimin into their office, forcing him into one of the chairs.

The blonde sniffles and tries to calm his beating heart and falling tears. Good, he has become such a cry baby.

Jungkook has a supporting hand on the elder's arm, letting his thump run in circles over the soft skin. Jungkook knows he should be angry, but there's no way he could in a situation like this.

"Jin called me-" Jimin begins after getting his breathing somewhat steady.

"He came with an ambulance. They said... they said he was pushed in front of a bus."

Jungkook's breath hitches as he hears the words. Yoongi?

"It se-seems that he told his parents..." Jimin starts crying again.

"H-He told them he l-loves me and they got angry... his father- he hit and kicked him for so long... only to push him out on a highway." Jimin throws his head into his hands, trying to muffle the ugly cries.

Jungkook grits his teeth.

"Oh, that man messed with the wrong people."
