chapter twenty-three

Jungwoo woke up early and he stood up carefully. He doesn't want to wake Lucas.

He grabbed his snoopy plushie and he went out of the room.

He went infront of Hera's room and he knocked.

"Lucas is that you?" Hera said.

"N-no mom, it's m-me Jungwoo. Can I-I come in?" Jungwoo asked softly.

Hera opened the door and she smiled sweetly.

"Why did you wake up so early?" Hera asked.

"I n-need to tell you s-something mom." Jungwoo said nervously.

"Oh don't be nervous. Let's go to the kitchen first." Hera said and they started walking.

Jungwoo sat on the chair while Hera started making coffee for herself.

"Do you want coffee or chocolate drink?" Hera asked.

"C-chocolate please." Jungwoo said.

"Okay then." Hera made a chocolate drink for Jungwoo.

"Do you want to put some marshmallow on it?" Hera asked and Jungwoo nodded happily.

"Here is it. Be careful it's hot." Hera said and she gave the mug to Jungwoo.

"Now tell me, what do you want to say?" Hera sat infront of Jungwoo.

"It's a-about Lucas." Jungwoo said, biting his lip.

"What about him? did he hurt you or something?" Hera asked and she took a sip from her coffee. Jungwoo shook his head in disagreement.

"E-everytime he h-holds my hand, kisses my f-forehead, carry m-me, look a-at me or a-any skinships, he m-makes my heart flutter." Jungwoo said, leaving Hera shocked from the sudden confession.

"Does that mean you love Lucas?" Hera asked excitedly.

"I-I think, I-I love him m-more than just a b-brother. I-Is that okay with you, mom?" Jungwoo asked nervously and he fiddled with his fingers.

"Jungwoo? Mom? You two were having a chit-chat without me?" Lucas said with a pout and he sat beside Jungwoo.

"D-did you h-hear me?" Jungwoo asked.

"Nope. What is your topic guys? share it to me!" Lucas said with a smile.

"It's a secret." Hera said with a wink before leaving them both in the kitchen.

Lucas shrugged it off, he grabbed Jungwoo's mug and he took a sip from it.

"I want this drink too." Lucas said and he stood up to make a chocolate drink for himself.

He sat infront of Jungwoo and the other male can't make an eye contact with him.

"Hey, Jungwoo look at me." Lucas said and Jungwoo glanced at the male infront of him.

"Your blushing, are you sick or something?" Lucas asked.

"I-I'm fine." Jungwoo said and he hugged his snoopy plushie closer.

"My friends invited me to the club, Do you want to come with me?" Lucas asked with a smile.

"I-I don't know. I haven't entered a-a club yet." Jungwoo said .

"Really? Well come with me later. Don't worry, I'll stay by your side." Lucas wiggled his eyebrows.

"O-okay." Jungwoo took a sip from his chocolate drink.

"I want you to choose something." Lucas said and he grinned.

"Who would you choose between me and snoopy?" Lucas asked.

"snoopy!" Jungwoo said cheerfully, he lied because he would choose them both.

"I'm hurt." Lucas said while clutching his chest, pretending to be hurt.

Jungwoo laughed at the view and Lucas laughed along with him.
