chapter twenty

Lucas drived few hours more and sometimes he will took a glance at the smiling male beside him.

Jungwoo opened the window of the car and he stretched his arm to feel the cold breeze outside.

Lucas smiled and he held Jungwoo's other hand. Jungwoo looked at him and he smiled sweetly before looking back outside.

After a few minutes, Lucas parked the car and they both climbed off.

"let's watch the sunrise." Lucas smiled and he grabbed Jungwoo's hand, leading him to the seashore.

They waited for few minutes before the sun peeked from the ocean and the sky was tinted with the shade of yellow and orange.  Lucas took out his phone and he started capturing it.

He pulled Jungwoo closer and he raised his phone.

"let's take a selfie." Lucas smiled at the camera and Jungwoo was just looking at him.

"look at the camera." Lucas said.

Lucas kissed the other male's cheek and he clicked the capture button, leaving Jungwoo in shocked expression.

Lucas chuckled, he snaked his strong arms around Jungwoo's waist and he placed his chin on the other male's shoulder.

"Let's go to the forest where we first met!" Lucas said cheerfully.

"o-okay." Jungwoo replied.

They walk through the forest hand in hand. Jungwoo gripped on Lucas' hand tightly.

The bright sunlight was blocked by the tall trees.

"L-Lucas, I want t-to tell you something." Jungwoo said with his soft voice.

Lucas stopped walking as well as Jungwoo and they faced each other.

"I-" Jungwoo's sentence was cut because Lucas' phone ringed.

Lucas' brows furrowed when he saw the unknown caller ID.

"continue." Lucas said with a smile but his phone started ringing again.

"m-maybe that's important. a-answer it." Jungwoo said that made Lucas nod.

"hello?"

"lucas, it's me hera- I'm in jail."

"w-what?! Mom what did you do?!"

"Kidnapping case filed against us by Jungoo's Mom."

Lucas clutched his phone tightly.

"wait for us mom, we'll be there soon. okay?"

"okay. take care, both of you." Hera said before hanging up.

Lucas grabbed Jungwoo's hand and he pulled him to the car.

"w-where are we going? what h-happened to mom?" Jungwoo asked nervously.

"she's imprisoned, your real mom said we kidnapped you." Lucas voice was shaky.

"w-what?" Jungwoo asked unbelievably.

Jungwoo started to sob and he clutched onto Lucas' shirt.

"w-why can't she l-let me live p-peacefully?" Jungwoo said, choking with sobs.

"we can fix this, be strong." Lucas said while kissing the other male's eyes.

Jungwoo buried his head on Lucas' chest.

"stop crying, you are making me cry." Lucas said and he rubbed Jungwoo's back soothingly.

"Let's go." Lucas opened the car door for Jungwoo and he let him sit comfortably.

He stroked Jungwoo's hair and he cupped the other male's face with his both hands.

"go get some sleep okay? do not think too much." Lucas said and he kissed Jungwoo's forehead.

"I-I love you." Jungwoo blurted out.

Lucas smiled and he kissed Jungwoo's nose.

"I love you too. Now sleep." Lucas said before closing the door.

He went to the driver's seat and started to drive.
