Todoroki's P.O.V

Midoriya and I were walking back from school, going to the Brick House Café to work on our project. For the project, we had to study the life of our hero, but not stalk them. We had to do a lot of research on how they save people's lives and how they became so strong. The thought of that scumbag helping others made me scoff.

"So. What does Endeavor do, Todoroki?" Midoriya asked me with determination on his face. Cute. I just stare at him, thinking of a good answer. I come up with one and say what he does that's true.

"Shit. That's all he does. Shit. I don't know how he's a hero. He treats others like shit and has an ego bigger than the universe." I spoke truthfully. Midoriya looked at me, shocked. He opened his mouth to speak but just closed it right after.

"That seems a little harsh. Even for you." Midoriya said, still looking at me in shock. I just look away, tears brimming my eyes as I thought about what the old man said to me. How no one could love me. I'm a monster. You're a disgrace to this family and I hope you die. You've ruined my creation and you're going to be the downfall of society. His words were ringing in my head.

"Whatever. Let's just get this project done. Here's what I know about his influence..."

Time Skip to later

"Todoroki-kun, c-could I stay at your house? I-I kinda forgot my keys and my mom is asleep." Midoriya shyly asked me. I stiffen the same way I did in class. "I, uh, I'm.." I can't get the words out. Midoriya is still looking at me, now confused as to my sudden stuttering. I stand up rather abruptly. "Sorry but, um, I-I don't think, um, well-no," I finally get out. I grab my bag and walk towards the door. "We-We have some, um, other company? Yeah, we have some other company over and don't have much space. Sorry." That is the last thing I say to him before leaving and booking it down the road.

"For fuck's sake, Shoto. What was that?" I ask myself as I make my way to the park. I find a bench and sit, leaning my head back to keep the tears from falling. This fails as I feel the tears fall down my cheeks and onto my pants. I cover my face with my hands and start sobbing.

Midoriya's P.O.V

What was that? He never stutters. What is going on with him? My thoughts are running wild as I pack up my bag and leave the café. Is he safe at home? He seems to be dodging his home life a lot more than normal. He's being a lot harsher about his dad than normal. My thoughts continue as I pass the park.

I walk in the park to look at the birds when I notice red and white hair. I look over and see Todoroki-kun on a bench with his head in his hands. I walk over cautiously and tap his shoulder. I see him tense at the touch as he shoots his head up.

"Todoroki-kun? What are you doing in the park? Isn't your house in the opposite direction?" I ask. He doesn't answer but I see tears well up in his eyes. He looks away to hide his tears but it's no use. "What's wrong?" I ask, taking a seat beside him. He sighs deeply before brushing a hand through his hair. He turns his head to me, pain in his eyes.

"I-I don't know how to say this," he starts, slumping forward, almost ashamed. "My father kicked me out," he pauses. I let out a small gasp but don't speak since I know he's not done. "He-He found out I'm..." he pauses again, looking conflicted like he doesn't know if he should tell me something. "He found out I'm gay. He didn't take it too well. He-He beat me up pretty bad. But worst of all, he-he stabbed me." I cover my mouth as I felt tears come to my eyes.

"Todoroki-kun, why didn't-you could've-I could've-when-why-" I kept stumbling over my words. "You-You could've told me, Todoroki-kun. I could've done something. My mom-" Todoroki cuts me off.

"Don't worry about it. It's my fault for being stupid and not being quiet. I've dug my grave, so now I get to lie in it," he says, looking up again. This infuriates me.

"I-I don't like seeing you like this! It's not you're fault, okay? You did nothing wrong!" I say loudly. Todoroki is taken aback by my outburst and gives a small, sad smile.

"I figured it would happen sooner or later. I mean, I already found a semi-decent place to slee-"

"No! You are not going to sleep in a disgusting alley! I don't care if you don't like it, but I'm bringing you to my house!" I shout. I stand up and grab my bag. I grab Todoroki's arm and drag him to my apartment.

"Didn't you say you forgot your keys?" Todoroki asks when we reach my door. I blush as I remember saying that. I look around the front and see that the window wasn't locked. I smile as I push open the window and crawl inside. I unlock the door to let Todoroki in.

"Well, we're in," I say with a small smile. I pull Todoroki in and into the bathroom where I start cleaning up his wounds.

"You don't have to do this," Todoroki says while sitting on the counter. I grab some bandages, some rubbing alcohol, and some cotton swabs.

"Yes, I do. Now, where did he stab you?" I ask. I see him blush and pull down his pants to his knees. In the middle of his left thigh is a slightly infected stab wound. I grimace at the sight but start cleaning it.

While cleaning out the stab wound, I can feel Todoroki's eyes on me. "Is everything alright?" I ask, looking up for a moment. Todoroki just smiles at me and nods.

"You're just really cute when you're concentrated," he speaks. I blush wildly and drop the cotton swab I was holding.

"Wh-what d-do you m-mean b-by that?" I ask, covering my face. I feel him grab my arms and pull them away. I see his face get closer to mine.

"I mean that you're really cute," he repeats, closing the distance between us. My eyes widen as I feel his lips on mine.

Before I can kiss back, he pulls away. I feel him grab my hands. I look up to meet his eyes. "Look, Midoriya. I've liked you for a long time and I just couldn't help myself with how amazing you're being with me. I-I love you and I want you to be my boyfriend. I still don't know what to say so I just nod and pull him in for another kiss.

We pull away a few seconds later. "Yes!"
