Max and Gidget weren't sure of what just happened. One moment, Duke was laying in front of them looking like death. The next thing either of them knew, he was racing off at the speed of light. Looking at her boyfriend, Gidget asked, "What was that?"

"I have no idea," Max replied.

"Oh you will not believe how hectic today has been Hu. Lemme tell you, your father is crazier than a jackrabbit," Daisy pointed out. She and Hu were traveling down the now quiet streets of lower Manhattan. Lumbering beside his mother figure, the white tiger mewed softly. Blushing, Daisy admitted, "Yes, I still love-"

Daisy never did get a chance to finish her statement when a brown blur blazed past both her and Hu. The pair watched in fear as whatever passed them continued on its merry way. Finding her tongue, Daisy muttered, "Okay... either that was Duke or Sonic exists as a huge brown hedgehog." Hu mewed quietly in response.

The Flushed Pets were busy arguing among themselves about how they could have possibly misplaced Snowball when they were knocked over like bowling pins by something brown and fast.

"Nice going crashing our car," Chloe grumbled. Tapping his beak thoughtfully with his longest wing feather, Tiberius remarked, "Weirdly enough, I also crashed it in the dream."

"Is there any way to fix it?" Mel asked hopefully. Shooting the pug a glare, Tiberius growled, "Do I look like a mechanic to you?" Facepawing, Chloe muttered, "We're never getting home at this rate."

"Guys, be optimistic. We got this!" Buddy yipped cheerfully. The dachshund was standing in the entrance of the alleyway they had crashed in. He was about to say more when he got run over by some brown blur. "Buddy!" Mel yelped, running over to his friend. As he was helped up to his feet, Buddy mumbled, "I think that was Duke..."

"AHA! Finally found you guys!" Derrick bellowed as he and the Flushed Pets arrived on the scene.
