It's December. Many people in the town are out, buying Christmas gifts and Christmas trees. But the Smith family already has everything they need. They have been preparing since November and are finished with the decorating. Cody's and Destiny's parents look proudly at the Christmas tree. Daniella smiles while Jacob looks emotional.

- This tree is the most beautiful tree I've ever seen!

Daniella looks at Jacob, wondering.

- It's the same tree and tree decorations as every other Christmas.

Jacob shrugs his shoulders.

- Yes, but it's still beautiful.

Cody and Destiny are in their rooms. Cody looks at the movie "Home Alone" from 1990. He claps his hands.

- You're a genius, Kevin!

Cody hallucinates and thinks that Kevin talks to him. Kevin smiles.

- You are Cody, right?

- Yeah... how do you know my name?

- I know everybody's names. It's because I'm a genius. If thieves broke into your house, what would you do?

- Hide...

- No. That's the wrong answer. You should do like me. Scare them away.

- Okay. I'm going to test it on my family first. Thanks for the tip.

Cody turns off the TV. He takes out a long, thin, transparent rope from the drawer.

- I know exactly what to do...

Kevin goes to the kitchen and opens the refrigerator. He puts the chocolate cookies on the kitchen table and puts the rope around the package.

- Genius...

Kevin hides under the table with the rope in his hands. After five minutes, Destiny goes to the table and sees the cookies.

- Yummy...

She tries to take the cookies, but they just move.

- Weird...

She tries again. The cookies come in under the table. She looks under the table, but Cody is already gone.

- Here!

Destiny tries to see where Cody is.

- Here!

She goes to the place from where she hears Cody's voice. It's from her wardrobe. Destiny gets angry.

- Don't take my cap!

- You shouldn't have said that!

Cody takes out his hair gel from the jeans pocket and puts it in his hair. Then, he puts Destiny's pink cap on his head.

- I destroyed your cap.

- What did you do?!

- I put hair gel on my hair, and then your cap. Take that, cookie thief!

Destiny opens the wardrobe and pulls Cody out. She takes off her cap from his head and looks inside it. She shakes her head, slowly.

- Revenge!

Destiny runs to their parents, who sit in the living room and watch TV.

- Cody destroyed my cap!

Jacob looks at Destiny, wondering.

- How did that happen?

Daniella looks at Jacob.

- He may have cut it with scissors.

Destiny runs out from the living room.

- Follow me, it's worse!

They follow Destiny to her room. Destiny sighs.

- He isn't here. Let's go to his room instead.

They go to Cody's room. He sits on the bed, reading a book.

- What is it?

Destiny goes to Cody.

- You know what happened. Where is my cap?

- Calm down, Destiny. I'm sorry for what I did to your cap. But the cap is fixed now. I'm washing it in the washing machine.

Destiny: What?!

Cody: What's wrong?

Destiny gets angry, goes to her room and closes the door, hard. Jacob looks strictly at Cody.

- You can't put a cap in a washing machine!

Jacob looks at Daniella.

- What punishment should we give him?

Daniella shrugs her shoulders.

Jacob: Since Daniella doesn't come up with something right now, I decide that you cannot come with us to ski in the mountains.

Cody stares at Jacob.

- What?!

- You made such a mess last Christmas too, with many evil mischiefs.

- But... it was just for fun!

Daniella sighs.

- You have to learn to take your consequences...

Cody looks shocked.

- I love skiing... and I hate you! And Destiny who told you! And how could I possibly take care of myself?

Jacob: You know how. I trust you, Cody.

Jacob and Daniella go out from Cody's room and Jacob closes the door. Destiny calls Cody from her cellphone.

- How are you feeling now?

- How do you think?!

- I'm going to convince our parents to travel as soon as possible...

- How dare you?

Cody turns off the call. Destiny smiles and goes to her parents, who sit in the living room, and keep watching TV.

- Wow! I really can't wait for skiing in the mountains. When do we leave home?

Daniella smiles.

- If you really can't wait... why don't we leave right now?

- Yes! You're the best family ever!

Destiny runs to her room and packs the stuff she needs for the mountains. When she's done, she runs to the front door. Jacob and Daniella are dragging their bags to the car. Cody looks through the window of his room as they go to the car and drive away.

- Why...? Do they really hate me that much?

Cody goes slowly to his bed and takes a seat.

- Boring... I miss my family.

Suddenly, Cody hears someone scream outside his window.

- What was that...?

Two young men are standing in front of the door. The first man has a nameplate with the name "William" on it, and the other man is obviously called Oscar.

- Oz... why did you scream? We're supposed to be quiet!

Oscar is grabbing his left foot.

- I stepped on a big stone...

Cody looks at them, shocked.

- It's the thieves! I've waited for this moment...

Cody runs to the hall and picks up tape from the toolbox. He runs to the front door and puts the tape around the door.

- They can't come in now!

Cody smiles.

- Done!

Cody runs to his room. The thieves try to come in, but it doesn't work.

William sighs.

- It's locked. We have to buy a crowbar...

They go away. Cody puts a CD in his CD-player. It's the song "We Wish You a Merry Christmas". He starts to skate with a skateboard from his room to the living room, jumps on the sofa, mixes a gross drink that he spits out, skates around with rollerblades and paints a smiley with red lipstick on the bathroom mirror. Suddenly, he hears something from the front door. He runs to the door and looks through the keyhole.

- Oh no...

Oscar looks at William while he tries to get up the door.

- Can I help?

- Try if you want, it's hopeless for me.

- Sure!

William gives Oscar the crowbar. Cody takes up his cellphone from the pocket and goes to a YouTube acapella fight scene that he used last christmas to prank his family.
