Summer
"Mom! Have you seen dad anywhere? I haven't seen him since this morning. I sobbed silently to myself. "He's not coming back Ruby." I said. My 14 year old daughter let out a small sob. "Why?" She squeaked. I pulled her into an embrace.
"He loves someone else Ruby." I said. She wailed into my shoulder. "I need to call Raven." I said grabbing my phone from the nightstand.
"Hello?"
"Raven, he's gone." I said through my sobbing.
"I'm on my way." She said seriously.
"Thank you." I said.
"Anything for you." She said.
She hung up and I put my phone in my pocket. "Ruby, go pack your bags." I said. She shook her head, holding me tightly. "Ruby, I'm not gonna leave without you." I said. She sobbed louder. "Let's go." I said carrying her to her room.
She let go of me and started packing. "I love you." I said smiling softly. She smiled looking up at me. "I love you too." She said. "Can I go pack now?" I asked. She nodded.
I put clothes in a suitcase and went to the bathroom for necessities. Ruby came into my room with her backpack and a red suitcase. "Ready?" I asked she nodded and I heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it." I said. Ruby followed me anyways.
It was Raven and Cinder, her roommate. "You ready?" She asked. "Yeah." I said going to get my bag. Raven was talking to Ruby when I came back. Once she was done she hugged her.
"Let's go." I said walking around the corner. Raven took my bag and Cinder took Ruby's. "Thanks." I said walking to Raven's hummer. I got in the back with Ruby. "Are you okay?" Raven asked me. "Not really." I said sighing. She frowned.
"But I'll get better. Because I have you." I said looking down at Ruby. She grinned and hugged me. "Let me warn you now, the kids are fucking crazy." Raven said. "Especially mine." Cinder said. "Yang is dumber though."
"Just discipline them. Look at Ruby she's a saint." I said. "You hit your child?" Cinder asked glaring at me. "Hell no! Why would you ever think that! I just take her phone or ground her." I said.
"We're here." Raven said parking the car. "You can have my room, I'll take the couch." Raven said smiling. "You don't have to do that." I said. She smirked. "We can sleep together then." She said causing my face to become red.
"I think that's a yes." Raven said chuckling. I nodded slowly. "Ruby you can sleep with Yang." Raven said. Ruby raised an eyebrow. "She's never met them remember." I said.
"Dad? Is that you?" Yang yelled coming downstairs. "Obviously, and stop wearing short shorts." Raven said glaring at her. "But I'm not in public." She said crossing her arms. "Whatever you say Yang." Raven said thumping her on the forehead.
"Feel free to do what you want." Cinder said going into the kitchen. "Who's the kid?" Yang asked pointing at Ruby. "I'm Ruby!" Ruby said shaking her hand. "I'm Yang!" They both went upstairs.
"So, how's it going 'dad'." I said. Raven glared at me. "Shut up." She said sitting on the couch. Cinder came back with 3 beers. She gave one to Raven and smiled giving me one. "I don't drink much." I said nervously.
"Your alcohol tolerance always was bad." Raven said. We were watching The Notebook when Ruby came downstairs and sat next to me. Her face was red and she hid it in my shoulder.
"Yang what did you do?" Raven asked. They all came downstairs. "I didn't do it this time it was Neo!" Yang accused. "Liar, he did it." Neo said not raising her voice. "No I didn't!" Mercury yelled.
"Em what happened?" Cinder asked. Emerald shrugged. "Wasn't paying attention." She said. "What happened?" I asked moving Ruby's face back. "It was her, she's weird and gross." Ruby said pointing at Yang.
"What did you say?" Raven asked glaring at her. "I was reading texts from his phone." She said. Cinder glared at Mercury. "Snitch." He mumbled glaring at Yang. "Shut up." Neo said glaring at them both.
"Hey! You were the one tha-" Neo slapped him. He glared at her. Your grounded." Cinder said glaring at all of them. "What!? I didn't do anything!" Emerald yelled.
"I'm not talking to you." Cinder said. "You too Yang." Raven said. "For what!?" She yelled. "For being Yang." Cinder said. Yang scoffed. "Your just mad because I have a bigger chest than you!" Yang yelled at Cinder.
I smirked looking back at Cinder. "Well she ain't lying." I said eyeing her chest. Cinder and Raven glared at me. "Thank you, I didn't have try that hard actually." Yang said. Raven stood up and Yang ran upstairs. Raven followed her. "Be right back." She said smiling at us before her anger came back.
"Yang Xiao Long!" She yelled going upstairs. "Xiao Long?" I asked looking at Cinder. "She went out with one of Tai's cousins. His cousin left her with Yang. That happened to me 3 times as you can see." Cinder said.
"Oh." I said nodding. Raven came back downstairs smiling. She put Yang's phone and laptop on the coffee table. She sat next to me smirking. "Your not the only good parent." She said.
"I'm not a good parent I'm the best." I said. Ruby nodded smiling softly. "It's getting late." Cinder said. "Go to bed." Her kids nodded and went upstairs to their rooms.
This house was huge. If Ruby and I wanted to we could also get our own rooms. "So tell me about yourself." Raven said looking at Ruby.
"What do you want to know?" Ruby asked. "Anything." Raven said shrugging. "I like to draw." Ruby said shrugging. "Draw what?" Raven asked.
"Whatever is around me. I mostly draw friends and family, since I'm always surrounded by people." She said shrugging.
"Cool, I'm an artist too actually." She said pointing to a door. "My workspace is in there. I was actually drawing when you called today." Raven said smiling.
"What do you draw?" Ruby asked smiling. "Flowers. Mostly roses." She said shrugging. Ruby nodded yawning. "That's cool." She said tiredly.
"Time for bed." I said. She nodded going upstairs. "She acts just like you Summer." Raven said. "We look alike as well." I said smiling softly.
"Yeah your both adorable." Raven said smiling. I hugged her smirking. "Thank you. Now take me to your room." I said making Cinder raise an eyebrow. Raven picked me up easily. "Yes my queen." She joked grinning.
Once we were upstairs I heard laughter and giggling. I looked into Yang's room and she was talking to Ruby. Already acting like sisters.
Raven carried me into her room and put me on the bed. She shut and locked her door. I raised an eyebrow. "You'll thank me tommorow." She said taking off her shirt and pants. She lay down in her bed sighing. She sat up not being able to get comfortable. I sat up raising an eyebrow. She pulled my shirt over my head. "Raven!" I shrieked. She shrugged. "It's only fair, you saw me." She said. I took off my shorts and dropped them on the floor.
"Red lace?" She asked. "Shut up." I mumbled letting her spoon me.
"And it's a thong?"
"Shut up, Raven."
