Amanda's P.O.V.
I stood next to Jez, tapping my foot impatiently. Finn had told us that he would meet us here by now, and he hadn't shown up.

"Maybe he got caught up with fans." Jez said.

"Yeah." I said, trying to sound happy.

I faked a smile, but soon after, I didn't have to fake it anymore as I saw Finn running over to us.

"Sorry, got caught by fans." He said.

I nodded. "It's fine. I totally understand."

He smiled. We started to walk down the forest trail, talking about anything on our minds. Jez was aimlessly walking around behind us, as Finn and I talked. Every time he smiled at me, every time he talked to me, my stomach would start doing flips, and I would silently pray that I wasn't blushing. I always wanted to tell him, but had never built up enough courage to do it. I kicked a stone into the forest.

"Hey, do you wanna hang out tomorrow?" Finn asked. Tomorrow was Saturday.

"Like, all day?" I asked. He nodded. "Okay." I said, smiling.

"Just you and me, no one else." He said.

I just simply smiled and nodded, not wanting to look too excited. On the inside I was screaming really high pitched while jumping around and doing flips.

The next day, I excitedly woke up. Finn had said that he would pick me up at nine a.m. I put on a blue t-shirt, dark boot cut jeans, and blue converse. I straightened my hair and put on a white fabric headband. I looked at the clock. It was eight fifty-seven. I ran down the stairs.

"Bye!" Jez called.

"Bye Jez!" I called back to her.

I opened the door and stood on the sidewalk. Finn walked up about a minute later.

"Ready?" He asked.

I smiled and nodded. I followed him to the park, where we started to walk down a hiking trail.

"Hey, watch this." He said.

We both stopped walking and he closed his eyes. He appeared to be concentrating. He then opened his eyes and walked through a tree.

"I've known for a while that you've been able to do that." I said. He laughed a little.

"I know." He said, shrugging.

He put his hands into his jeans pockets. He was wearing a blue shirt, jeans, and blue sneakers. Wait a minute.

Finn's P.O.V.
I shoved my hands into my pockets to avoid awkwardness. I looked over at Amanda and smiled. Then I realized, she was also wearing a blue t-shirt, dark jeans, and blue sneakers. Her dark hair seemed to flow perfectly around her face, her smile glowing. She put her hands in her pockets as well and smiled.

"So..." I started, trying to get rid of the awkwardness.

"Um...." She started as well. She took her hands out of her pockets and put them behind her back.

"What should we do?" I asked.

She shrugged. I walked over to her slowly and took my hands out of my pockets. She looked at me weirdly. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her hands apart. I slipped my hand into hers, wrapping my fingers around the back of her hand. She smiled and did the same. I turned towards the end of the trail.

"Come on!" I said. I started to run, pulling her with me.

"Woah!" She said, stumbling towards me.

We both laughed once she regained her balance, and I started running again, forcing her to run in order to keep up. I was laughing as she struggled to keep up with me.
