Will smiled sitting on the bed with Ironhide's holoform standing off to the side, looking in a mirror. he was creating his look right now. currently the holoform was standing basically blank, extremely buff, and mostly naked. he had a pair of boxers on, Will hadn't ask to see what was under them, he didn't need to know. Ironhide had already chosen the look for his face and his raven colored black hair was in a similar cut to Wills.

"any opinion?" Ironhide ask, looking back at his charge. Will tilted his head to the side and hummed looking at him.

"I dunno you seem like a tattoo man to me." Will smiled. Ironhide looked at him then the mirror frowning slightly as he decided what he wanted to do. tattoos appeared from his shoulders to his wrists. "too many." Will frowned. Ironhide nodded and some disappeared. "that looks better." Will smiled.

"what else?" Ironhide ask.

"well your clothes should be army themed I guess, since you seem all about that life." Will smiled. Ironhide suddenly had a tight white tank top and a pair of camo cargo pants. he looked at Wil who nodded, chuckling. "you're looking good Hide." Will smiled. Ironhide smirked at him and turned back to the mirrors.

"boots." Ironhide muttered looking at his feet. Will watched him and smiled when a set of big black boots appeared on his feet. he looked at Will. "anything else?" Ironhide ask. Will looked him over.

"you'd be cute with a bit of stubble, as long as you don't over do it." Will said. Ironhide tilted his head in confusion and looked back at the mirror. "and maybe a set of dog tags." Will added. a set of dog tags appeared on his neck but he seem to be focusing on his face, thinking. Will watched smiling slightly. Ironhide turned and smiled at him, a small bit of stubble on his face. "see I knew you could pull that off." Will chuckled. Ironhide faced him with hands on his hips.

"well?" Ironhide ask.

"you look good." Will smiled. he frowned. "but... I dunno. you look a little bare." Will said, looking him over.

"bare? I am not naked William." Ironhide replied.

"no." Will laughed. "I mean you always have those big, bulky, cannons on your arms and yeah you've got the little gun tattoos on your arms but, you still look a little bare." Will explained. Ironhide nodded slightly and he smiled. Will looked confused, but started laughing when two hip holsters appeared on Ironhide and two pistols in the holders. he also had a ankle sheath, with a 4in blade in it. "see now you look a little more like you." Will smiled. he got up and smiled, they were almost the same hieght, but of course Ironhide was a few inches taller.

"like me?" Ironhide ask. Will nodded.

"yeah. well, like I had imagined you'd look if you were human." Will said. "minus the incredibly gorgeous blue eyes and the hip holsters." Will laughed. the weapon specialist smiled.

"even the muscles?" Ironhide ask curiously.

"kinda. I assumed with your personality, as a human you'd have built yourself up pretty nice." Will admitted. Ironhide smiled and pulled him closer.

"well I got it right then." Ironhide smiled. Will smiles. Ironhide pulled him into a kiss happily, the first time he actually kissed him. Will sighed happily and pulled back.

"yeah but are you happy with it?" Will ask.

"yes I am." Ironhide smiles. Will chuckles.

"you are really warm." Will said, holding him.

"added perks." Ironhide chuckled.

"do the others have these now too?" Will ask. Ironhide nodded.

"yes." Ironhide said.

"I wonder how Sam and Bee are doing." Will said.

"we could go find out if you really want to know." Ironhide said.

"nah, I'd rather stay here." Will smiled. "I'll see it tomorrow when we go to the base." Will added. Ironhide stepped back.

"let me set this. I'll be back." Ironhide said, disappearing. Will stretched and laid on his bed but paused, his skype ring was going off. he groaned and got up. it was usually Sarah and he didn't want to see her. he paused though, it was Sams name. he sat in his computer chair.

"Sam?" Will ask. the boy in the chair was not Sam. his yellow hair and bright blue eye's gave him away though. he really looked younger than Will expected. "Bumblebee." Will chuckled.

"how'd you know?" Bee ask.

"Ironhide just finished his." Will said. Bee smiled at him.

"where is he?" Bee ask.

"he's saving his holoform." Will said.

"oh, okay." Bee smiled.

"something you wanted?" Will ask.

"nah, I was just hoping to see Ironhide's." Bee said. the boy turned his head. "hey Sam, it's Will." he smiled. Sam walked over and waved.

"hey Will. Ironhide too?" Sam ask. Will nodded.

"yeah." Will smiled. "he's saving his apparently. don't know when he'll be back." Will explained.

"it only took about a minute for Bee." Sam said.

"he looks nice. definately a bit younger than I thought he'd look, but he looks about your age so." Will smiled. he turned in his chair hearing a sound, Ironhide was standing by the window, he smiled and walked over. "hey, it's Sam and Bee. I didn't realize Bee was that young." Will said.

"I mean technically he's not but thats as close as he gets. I matched mine closer to your age. did you imagine me older?" Ironhide ask curiously.

"no. kinda younger actually. with that attitude I mean." Will smirked. Ironhide shoved him hard and he yelped falling out of the chair. "I deserved that." Will laughed. Ironhide huffed and rolled his eye's. "no Hide, you're about the age I thought you'd be." he smiled.

"hey Hide, wow you... actually look good for an old guy." Sam laughed.

"I will blow you up." Ironhide glared. Bee gave him a dirty look and stuck his arm infront of Sam protectively.

"wonder what the others look like." Sam said, hugging Bumblebee's neck. the scout looked extremely happy, holding Sam.

"probably about the same." Will said looking at Ironhide. "I mean their all about your age right Hide?" Will ask.

"something like that." Ironhide said, laying on Wills bed. Will watched him a moment, then turned back to the camera.

"well, see you guys tomorrow." Will said, hanging up. he got up and walked over to the bed, flopping down beside him. Ironhide looked over and smiled, pulling him closer. it was nice to actaully be able to hold him. Will nuzzled his chest and wrapped his arms tightly around him. "its great to actually be able to hug you. I know I can like sit in your hand or you can carry me around in your real form, but it's nice." Will said. Ironhide chuckled and held him.

"don't get used to this thing. I won't use it often." Ironhide said.

"I can try." Will grinned. Ironhide chuckled and smiled.

"it is time for you to rest. I must cut the holoform. I will see you in the morning." Ironhide said as he disappeared. Will nodded and curled up under the blankets. it would've been nice to lay with Ironhide for a bit, but that holoform must've taken a lot of energy.

Ironhide sat in the garage, Will had fixed it up. it was a nice big fancy garage, that Ironhide didn't have to be in his alt for to be in. it was nice, he could stretch. though he had to sit in it. he wouldn't complain. it was actually warm in the garage, cozy. he'd seen the original garage Bumblebee had to stay in and was very grateful for the effort into the garage. he stretched and transformed down into his alt mode. he scanned the area, just out of habit, before he settled down into stasis. he wasn't sure how long he'd been out when he heard it. one of his scanners started going off. he shifted and mumbled, checking the scanner. he was immediately on alert, checking his other scanners quickly, something was wrong with Will.. after not discovering anything in or around the house he checked on Will himself. he appeared in the bedroom beside the man. Will was sweating, his blankets tangled around him, pillows kicked into the floor, and he was mumbling. Ironhide frowned, the man was having a nightmare, he'd seen it happen before.

"Will." Ironhide said, walking over to the man. he was cautious though, Will could be dangerous if he was scared. "William." Ironhide said, shaking him gently. "Will, its a nightmare. wake up." Ironhide said, shaking him harder. Will shouted loudly, falling off the bed. he sat up quickly and shouted, seeing Ironhide leaning over him. he didn't recognize the man and tried to punch him but his fist was quickly stopped. "Will it's me. relax." Ironhide said. Will panted a moment, and pulled his fist back.

"sorry." he muttered.

"are you okay?" Ironhide ask, pulling him up. Will nodded slightly and sat on the bed.

"yeah I'm fine. sorry." Will said, pulled the blankets and pillows back up. he looked at Ironhide. "you can go. I'm fine. just a stupid dream." Will assured him. Ironhide frowned slightly.

"you sure?" Ironhide ask. Will nodded slightly, sitting on the edge of the bed with his face in his hands. "what happened?" Ironhide ask.

"nothing. I'm okay." Will said. Ironhide frowned and grabbed the blanket, wrapping it around Will and himself, then holding Will tightly. "what are you doing?" Will ask.

"holding you. the internet says after a nightmare, you should be with someone who cares about you if it was bad. it seemed bad. I can let go if you want?" Ironhide offered. Will hugged him tightly.

"no." Will said, hugging him tightly, burying his face in his chest.

"I have an idea." Ironhide said, getting up. Will let go confused. Ironhide stood, scooping the man up.

"what are you doing?" Will ask. Ironhide didn't answer, simply opening the window and setting Will down gently. Will looked up at the mech holding him.

"I told you, I had an idea." Ironhide mumbled. his holoform closed the window before disappearing. Ironhide headed back to the garage and transformed back to his alt mode, Will landing in the back seat. the topkick warmed up to a comfortable temperature for him, before his holoform appeared again, laying behind him. "better?" Ironhide ask. Will smiled slightly and cuddled into the man.

"yeah. thanks." he mumbled. the arms around him tightened gently.

"now sleep." Ironhide said. Will nodded slightly, slowly falling asleep.

*next morning*

Will shifted slightly, smiling slightly a the feeling of an arm around his waist. well he'd assumed it was an arm, until he opened his eye's and discovered it was a seatbelt. probably meant to fool the sleeping man into believing that the holoform was still behind him. Will nuzzled the seat under him.

"good morning William." Ironhide said softly.

"hey Hide." Will murmured.

"we are twenty minutes from the base. Prime called, I was going to wake you, but since you had issues sleeping, I was reluctant." Ironhide said. Will nodded slightly, sitting up as the seat belt retracted.

"thanks.... sorry about last night. it was really stupid and I'm sorry." Will said softly. the truck seemed amused as he climbed up into the front seat. the seatbelt slipped around him and squeezed gently.

"it's okay. you cannot control it." Ironhide said. the seatbelt loosened some. "Bumblebee and Sam stopped for breakfast. I requested they pick something up for you since I didn't wake you." Ironhide explained. Will gave a tired smile and patted the steering wheel.

"you're awesome and I love you." Will mumbled, laying his head on the steering wheel. if Will didn't know Ironhide so well, he would've sworn he heard the truck purr happily, but he definitely knew Ironhide better than to say anything. the weapon specialist would use him as a target if he did. he sat up and sighed, seeing the base, smiling slightly. he relaxed slightly, leaning forward and kissing the steering wheel, before resting his head on it gently.

"Will, would you like to hop out, they're here." Ironhide said. Will nods slightly, hoping out with Ironhide's holoform.

"hey guys!" Sam called, jumping out of the passenger side of Bumblebee. the other door opened and the yellow haired holoform stepped out, waving at them. Will waved back tiredly. "you okay Will?" Sam ask.

"rough night." Will mumbled. Sam frowned slightly and handed him a cup of coffee. Will gave a tired grin, and patted the side of the truck. "you guys are awesome." Will said.

"Ironhide said something about you not sleeping much last night. I figured you could use some." Bumblebee smiled.

"thanks Bee." Will said, sipping it. Ironhide walked around the truck to stand beside Will, looking Bumblebee over a second.

"you look good scout." Ironhide said, leaning against himself. Will sipped his coffee happily.

"so what are we doing up here?" Will ask.

"some sort of meeting." Bumblebee said. Will nodded slightly. they looked up as three more men walked over. the tallest had inhumanly blue hair, he had a small blue bit of stubble and looked a lot more presentable than Ironhide. he looked good and was clearly Prime. the second about Ironhide's height, had bright red hair and looked like a doctor. he had absolutely no facial hair and looked angry at simply exsisting, he was clearly Ratchet. the third was about Bumblebee and Sam's height. he had silver hair, tattoos, chains, and looked absolutely rediculous, but still reasonable. it was Jazz no doubt.

"hey guys." Sam waved. Prime nodded his head at the group.

"hello. Sam and Will, you really don't need to be here, we're just introducing the military to well... holoforms." Optimus said.

"my team?" Will ask. Optimus nodded. "yeah they respect you guys, but they're gonna laugh in your faces thinking its another prank from the Lambo twins. I'll join you." Will said. Optimus nodded again.

"thank you Will." he smiled. he looked the two holoforms over and nodded slightly. "you two have done well. they look nice, however Bumblebee I do suggest pants on the base instead of shorts." Optimus said. Bumblebee looked down, then at Sam.

"hey don't give me that look, I told you he was going to say that." Sam scoffed. Bumblebee huffed at him, but pants appeared quickly. the Prime chuckled and motioned for them to follow him.

"hey Ratchet you couldn't pick something more comfortable looking?" Ironhide teased. the medic shot him a dirty look.

"this is temperary." Ratchet replied.

"Ratchet and I and a few others are having issues with our holoforms not saving, we're using basic designs until its fixed." Optimus explained.

"issues?" Bumblebee ask.

"well I couldn't do updates on a few of us so I have Wheeljack do it and the slagger messed up." Ratchet mumbled.

"you couldn't do the updates?" Sam ask curiously. Ratchet nodded.

"with the updates, they take a while, so you have to be in stasis to do so. I gave Jack a list of five bots, me and Prime included, and he messed up all but one. so, I have to fix us, without putting myself in stasis." Ratchet said. Sam nodded slightly. Sam stood out of the way when they walked into the military meeting.

"we will leave this to you Will." Optimus said. Will nodded and followed them up to the front of the room.

"attention!" Will called. the room groaned and got quiet, they knew Will was picking on them for being too loud. "hey guys. so I've got a rather big group of intimidating looking guys behind me, except those two." Will said pointing at Bumblebee and Jazz. "they look like children." Will said. the group chuckled. "these are the Autobots. they have holoforms, which can be changed and altered to look like whatever they want." Will said. "I'm sure you can guess who is who and these are only a few of them." Will explained.

"not everyone has been upgraded." Ratchet grumbled. Will nodded.

"however, this does not mean you can suddenly challenge them while feeling big in the britches." Will said. he turned and threw his cup hard at Ironhide, who caught it and glared at him. "their reflexes are still better than ours." Will said. "you're a smart group, but I know we have dumb moments, I won't point out anyone." Will said, staring directly at a few people. "but, I cannot stress the fact that they will hurt you and probably not give two fucks because you thought you were better than a 50 foot alien squished into a tiny little human body." Will explained. "they're to be treated with the same about as respect always. questions can be answered probably by any Autbot but the best answers would be given from Ratchet and Wheeljack." Will explained. he stepped out of the way and motioned for Optimus to take over.

"Sergeant Lennox is correct and while he expects you to respect us, I expect us to keep the same respect for you." Optimus said. he droned on for another twenty minutes before dismissing the group. Will headed out with them and Ironhide chunked the cup hard at the back of Wills head, but the soldier ducked and turned his head grinning at Ironhide.

"hey I may not be an Autobot but I'm not an idiot." Will smirked. Ironhide glared and went after him. "well shit." Will yelped running off. Sam smiled at them, deciding right there that holoforms were the greatest thing ever.
