I walked through the doors of Billie's house, arriving with my baby shower present. Peyton had told me all about the shower, and even invited me. I really needed this to take my mind off of everything that was happening at home with Austin. He was really pissing me off and I needed a break from him.

Billie was currently dating Nick Miller, Shane's best friend, and they were expecting a child in a few months. I knew Peyton was kind of nervous for her best friend, as this was a new chapter for both of them.

"Zelina, I'm so glad you could make it!" Peyton came over and gave me a hug.

"Thanks for the invite, I really needed a day out."

She nodded her head and took the box from my hands. She set my present on the table with the others. I saw some girls here I knew, but for the most part, I was really only friends with Peyton and Billie.

"Stop, you're better than me," I heard Billie say as she stepped in the room.

"No, you are!" I heard Peyton answer her as they did their little clasping pinkies together handshake.

Sometimes I envied their friendship. I had never really had a best friend, but at the same time, I never felt the need to have one.

"Hey, you're Zelina Vega, right?" I heard someone say from behind me.

I turned around to see who had been talking to me. However, when I turned around, I had no idea who this girl was.

"Oh, I'm sorry, we don't know each other, I'm Taynara Conti," she held her hand out for me to shake.

She was a petite girl, blonde hair, definitely a nice one. What I didn't know was how she knew me. Sure, a lot of people knew me, but this girl seemed a little familiar with my name.

"Yes, I am Zelina Vega, but I don't think we've ever met," I said as I hesitantly shook her hand.

"I'm dating Kyle O' Reilly, so that's how I know about you— well, and of course because of the media."

I nodded and gave a small smile. Now I knew where I knew her from. I remember the day after the read through, I walked out into the parking lot to see Kyle and her talking by his car.

"Yeah, Kyle is the assistant director for the new movie that my client is starring in," I said as I grabbed a glass of whatever Peyton had made to drink.

I was a little hesitant to take a sip because of Peyton's cooking skills.

They weren't the greatest.

"Okay, everyone could I have your attention?" Peyton clinked her spoon on her glass.

"First off, I just wanted to thank you all for coming, it means a lot to Billie and I. Second of all, Billie told me I had to make a little speech, and we all know how much I don't like those."

I laughed along with others in the room. Peyton had never been one for public speaking.

"However, for her it's different. Billie has been my best friend since we were younger. If anyone tried to hurt Billie, then they'd have to go through me. She's literally my life partner, and I couldn't ask for a better best friend. I hope as she starts this journey, known as motherhood, she won't hesitate to call me if she ever needs any help, because," Peyton was starting to cry a little. "I love her and I can't wait to see what a great mom she is."

We all clapped for Peyton as the two best friends hugged. Billie then proceeded to open presents and thank everyone for coming.

Of course, we played the baby shower games and we even got to write down our name choices. We, of course didn't know what gender the baby was, but I knew that Billie wanted a boy, however, I heard Nick was leaning towards a girl.

After I finished up the party, my phone rang. At first I was going to ignore it, but when I saw that it was Austin, I picked it up.

"Hello?" I questioned as I answered the phone.

"Babe, you'll never guess what I did to make your life so much easier."

I sighed a sigh. I wasn't sure what that meant, but I was also happy that he put on the thought. "What did you do?"

"I hired a wedding planner! I know you said you didn't want one, but after you told me your busy schedule, I figured I'd help you out!"

I wanted to cry. I specifically told him that I didn't want a stupid wedding planner, and that I wanted to do it with him. That's what I wanted, he wasn't making my life easier.

"Austin, I have to go, we'll continue this conversation when I get home."

I hung up my phone and wiped my tears. I went back in to tell Billie, Peyton, and Taynara goodbye.

"Peyton, I have to go, thank you for the invite," I said as I hugged my friend.

"No problem, I know how much you needed this day out."

I hugged Billie next and told her I can't wait to see rock motherhood and her baby is lucky to have such a hard-working mom.

"Taynara, it was wonderful to meet you, and I hope we can see more of each other."

She gave me a hug. "Me too, and you can call me Tay."

I waved goodbye to them and then I was out the door. I wasn't ready to go home and meet eyes with Austin and this wedding planner of his.

When I arrived home, I had saw someone else's car there, implying Austin didn't even wait for me to come home.

However, when I stepped through the door, who I saw wasn't who I was expecting.

"Bianca?" I asked as my blood boiled.

"Hey, Zelina."

"Oh you two know each other?" Austin asked from the table.

"All too well," I said through gritted teeth. "Austin, could I talk to you upstairs?"

He followed me up the stair case and into our bedroom. He was going to get an earful.

"I told you I didn't want a wedding planner and that's exactly what you go and do! If you cared about me at all, you would've at least asked. That woman down there is my previous client who I lost!" I screamed as I sat down on the bed.

"I'm sorry, Zelina, I should've asked."

"Yeah, you should have. You know what, I can't do this right now. I think we need time away from each other, so I'm leaving," I said as I stood up and grabbed a bag I packed a few days before.

"Are you being serious? Where the hell are you going to go?"

"Peyton's house. I'll be back when I'm ready to come back."

I slammed the door and then walked out to my car. I got in and cried. I had no clue what to do, so I went to a house where I felt safe.
