Zanna has never been one to follow social norms, and perhaps that's because she never felt really free to fit in with the crowd. As a human drawn to the curiosities in life and in some ways out of her control, her interests have always been labeled...bizarre, are best. Her draws are more toward darkness, viewing it not as something to be afraid of, but instead something beautifully obscure that deserves to be celebrated and even embraced. Beyond just her own personal viewpoints, her looks have definitely evolveld with her profession, which is something that she feels was more so bestowed upon her than chosen.

Zanna is well intentioned when it comes to her readings; of course she would want her patrons to leave feeling fulfilled and whole, never empty of swindled, especially considering she would always consider and protest her power to be true and genuine against all naysayers. She belives that she bears a burden to society to communicate in ways that they can't, and it can be equally enlightening as it is draining, leaving her as slightly cynical being with a general introverted personality as to not clash with the general populous. Althought she wants to help others, she recognizes that she doesn't always belong, and they are conflicting feelings.

She's got a sarcastic wit and a roll of her eyes that could certainly kill given the right circumstance; an even tempered and deathly sassiness to her actions. She's a bit jaded and certainly zones in on others who are staring at her the wrong way before anything else, a part of her self consciousness that she tends to just fight with more individuality. Being a medium has been so entangled in Zanna's life that it's a hard thing to leave out. During her down time, she often likes to care for animals, or enjoy the arts, which is perfect in a place like L.A. she doesn't mind social events, but can feel drained by the end of the night, and needs to retreat to replenish. She knows full well that her aura can be intimidating, but she is friendly, and hopeful for kindness.

Background:

If you decide to believe Zanna's story, she would tell you that she's heard voices from beyond for as long as she can remember. They come in waves of visions, short phrases and intuitions...those from the other side, begging and pleading to speak with their loved ones one last time as much as the living do. As one might imagine, they scared the little girl and became a major burden. It effected her sleep, her concentration, her relationships....besides the fact that rarely did a sole believe her. In fact, it strained her relationship with her father for a grand number of years. Children in school were always cruel to Rozanna. They pointed out the way she was distant and seemed to talk to herself. Being outcasted at such a young age was definitely damning for her, and follows her even now, just like her demons, so to speak.

Eventually it became something that she was willing to embrace, starting with what would be her first reading to an elderly woman on the street. A simple phrase that kept popping up in her mind. She spewed it to the old woman and to her, it made sense....image that. She was finally acclaimed for her sixth sense rather than condemned and it soothed her in so many ways...she was acting as a bridge for hurt and weary loved ones, and people looked at her more as a saint than a devil. There was no more running away from it, just accepting it, and it's been the greatest decision she's made as of yet.

Though of course, the job has its stressors. There are a variety of naysayers, that express she's simply cashing in on people's emotions or just plain crazy. Zanna has gotten used to the negativity over the years, but it doesn't mean it doesn't still manage to get her feeling down; she feels like a lonely soul in the world, misunderstood to most. Over time she gained popularity, doing reading for the stars, and eventually adopting the name, "L.A Medium". She offers spiritual readings as well as tarot card readings and more.

Zanna made up with her father a couple of years ago after he was diagnosed with Colon cancer, and the two have been working on fixing some aspects of their broken relationship. It's enough to make Zanna a bit girlishly giddy, even if she doesn't always show it.
