Chapter 3: Back In Kolkata
The hall was filled with awkwardness as Janki and Sharmishta were silently sat opposite each other on the couch. It wasn't easy for both Janki and Sharmishta to communicate to each other after what had happened in the two's lives, this would technically be the first time they're with each other over the years. Both were slightly uncomfortable right now, not knowing how to start at conversation.
Ragini was stood at a distance, watching the both. She wanted to let the two figure it out themselves rsther than helping. Despite the awkwardness, Ragini wished to see her Shomi Maa and Maa talk to each other without any barriers.
"Maa is coming. . . It's good, now the house will be filled with joy. Me and Swara get bored anyways." Sharmishta uttered after the long silence, curling a nervous smile over her lips as she looked at Janki.
"Hmm." Janki hummed a response, playing with her fingers. "Thank you for letting me and Ragini stay here with you. Sorry for causing a trouble."
Sharmishta shakes her head negatively, "There is no trouble caused. I'm more glad you agreed to stay with us. Please feel comfortable here, and treat it as if this is your own house."
Janki nodded with a small smile "Once Ragini gets a job, we will move out. . ."
"You don't need to move out. You can stay here for as long as you want, I have no rights to tell Ragini to go, Ragini is also Shekhar's daughter, so this house is hers as much as its Swara's."
Janki merely gave a small smile, not knowing what to respond to that, Sharmishta's kindness was touching her heart, easing the awkwardness.
"I'm sorry. . ." Janki apologised, Sharmishta arched her eyebrows in confusion, not knowing why the sorry was out of Janki's mouth. "I had always blamed you and Shekhar for hiding the truth from me. But I found out he was given an oath by his mother and you stayed quiet to let me live with him."
Sharmishta was speechless, merely shaking her head negatively. "Don't be sorry. . ." She trailed off, thinking of the words she should say to soothe Janki. "I should be sorry for not telling you the truth, even after we started talking. I didn't want my truth to affect your life. But you left him as soon as you found out, taking a promise from us to get married and give Swara a father's name. Thank you."
Ragini walked away, allowing the two reconcile over the past to send the uncomfortableness away.

It was difficult for people to walk inside the airport to receive the passengers due to the crowd the Media has created, eagerly waiting for Sanskaar and Lakshya.
"How can someone come out in peace when there's such a crowd!" An old man sighed, giving a look full of glares to the Media, who were lost in their own thoughts. He managed to shuffle past and enter the airport.
"What is happening here, why is the Media blocking the entrance? Is a celebrity coming?" A wife asked her husband while exiting the airport, blinking at the news reporters and camera men, who's eyes were searching for two particular figures.
"Where are they? The flight landed 10 minutes ago." One of the news reporter eagerly uttered, impatiently hitting his microphone against his palm.
Inside the airport, Sanskaar and Lakshya tiredly walk out after the security check, sighing as they stopped for a small break, facing each other.
"Fix your posture and hair. We might have some unexpected guests there."
Sanskaar tilted his head slightly to the side, catching a glimpse of the photographers, cameramen and news reporters rooted at the entrance and shook his head in disbelief.
"You're right." He sighed a response, fixing his hair with his hand and Lakshya fixed his collar, placing his hand inside his pocket afterwards.
"We'll mostly likely be given more attention than we need. Now that we're back." Lakshya uttered and Sanskaar smirked, taking his shades out from his pockets.
"I'm going to get slightly selfish, and have everyone's eyes on me for the most stylish title of this year."
Lakshya scoffed "Like I'm going to let you take it. . ." He trialled off, challenging Sanskaar, who shook his head with a smirk. "We will see."
The two continued walking, exiting the entering, with attitude and style, grabbing the attention.
"They're here!" A cameraman shouts after catching a glimpse of Sanskaar and Lakshya, heading towards them.
Everyone hurry and prepare themselves, wanting to get an answer from Sanskaar and Lakshya, knowing if they don't set everything up, they'll miss to give the news to the viewers, who were waiting for the mystery to unfold.
Becoming the perfect click for the photographer wasn't a new thing for both Sanskaar and Lakshya, they were given the title 'business model's' every time they stood in front of the camera. Their every pose, walk, glance and including dressing sense was outstanding, it was a pleasure for photographers to take such amazing pictures for the front page of their articles, be it in the magazine, newspaper or blog.
The photographers clicked multiple times, wanting to have the best of best images of them to use for their article. Lakshya inched a little forward, standing shoulder to shoulder with Sanskaar, the two glanced at the camera's, allowing them to click while they're in the mood. The news reporters began speaking and introducing their channels, ready to ask Sanskaar and Lakshya the most wanted questions.

"Swara! Swara! Swara!"
"Sorry."
"I don't want your sorry! I want progress! I want you to know what was happening in these 6 months! How hard is it to remember we had 10 deals, 2 from Korea, 5 from USA and 3 from Dubai? We cracked 6 of them, two are still pending and 2 we lost." He yelled, slamming the file on top of the table in frustration, blinking at Swara who had her head lowered, frowning in distraught.
"Which ones have we cracked?" Swara asked in a low tone, still upset at the manager, who was shouting at her.
"Dubai and three from USA."
"So we have two pending from USA?"
"No. We have two pending from Korea and we lost 2 from USA."
Swara nods her head slowly, trying to pressure her mind to remember all that information that was being yelled at her.
"Make sure you make no mistake, they are most likely to ask you these questions because you're their personal secretary." The manager told and Swara nods her head as a response, allowing a small sigh escape her frowning lips.

Sujata, Annapurna and Uttara impatiently glance at the entrance to Maheshwari Mansion, eagerly waiting to see their sons. Durga Prasad, Ram and Adarsh were sat in the hall, staring at the TV screen keenly and interestedly.
"Welcome to Aaj Tak, this is Shweta Kumar reporting from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport. Today we have two most famous faces of Kolkata right in front of us. I'm aware the public have questions for them and so do we, let's hear what they have to say. . ."
The two were seen posing in front of the photographers, Durga Prasad released an agitated sigh. "No matter what situation it is, these two would never change. They came back from the dead and look at how they're posing."
Ram and Adarsh shake their heads positively agreeing to Durga Prasad. Sujata, Annapurna and Uttara turn around, gluing their eyes on the TV screen.
"It's not like the world would come to an end if they don't pose." Ram sighed, gritting his teeth in disappointment.
Sujata and Annapurna's eyes moisten, seeing their sons on TV. They inch forward to get a better view, emotionally blinking at the screen.
"After being reported as brain dead and in coma, and dead. How did this happen? What's the mystery behind your appearance?"
"Who said I was brain dead?" Sanskaar questioned, blinking at the news reporter that asked him the question.
Durga Prasad and Ram looked on, sitting up as they blink at the TV screen, terrified with just one question asked by Sanskaar.
"It was declared by your family, they were saying you were brain dead. . ."
Sanskaar scoffed for two seconds, nodding his head "Was I?" He acted clueless, but honestly not knowing why they had lied.
"What are you trying to say? Did your family lie? Were you conscious all this time?"
"Did I say that?" He asked, confusing the news reporters and then formed serious expressions, "I'm not sure what the doctor was saying and neither cared. As long as I'm back, it doesn't matter if I was brain-dead or not. But it is true, I was in Coma for 6 months."
"They needed better excuse. . ." Lakshya trialled off as he whispered in Sanskaar's ear. "Or were they not expecting you to be awake?" The question put Sanskaar into deep thoughts and Lakshya moved away from his ears, blinking at the news reporters.
"Mr Lakshya. You were alive this whole time, if so, why didn't you come back to Kolkata and meet your family? Did your family know you were alive all this time?"
"Why? Aren't you pleased to see me here?" He asked in response, creating an awkward environment for the news reporters.
"How did this happen?"
"It wasn't an accident. . ." Lakshya trailed off, surprising the news reporters. Durga Prasad, Ram and Adarsh clench their fists as their hearts dropped. Annapurna, Sujata and Uttara look on shockingly.
"What do you mean?"
"Was this an murder attempt?"
"Was it staged as an accident?"
"How are you so sure?"
"No more questions." Sanskaar says, signalling the news reporters, who wanted to know more. However Sanskaar and Lakshya walked through the crowd, walking away.
Durga Prasad, Ram and Adarsh cover their heads in shock, frustration and fear, inhaling a breath to calm themselves down. Ram, who needed to do something to calm the remaining anger holds the remote control, slamming it onto the floor, startling Sujata, Uttara and Annapurna.
