Dinesh took a deep breath, leaning back on his chair. It was really busy the past few weeks. He could barely remember to eat amidst all the work to be done. Hopefully there will be no obsessed hero wannabes disturbing the workflow again.

Someone opens the door and walks into the cabin.

Kavya- Hi Dinesh.

Dinesh- Hi Kavya. Ellamae ok va? (Hi Kavya. All ok?)

Kavya sits in her chair and faces him with a teasing smile.

Dinesh- So?

Kavya- Eppadi pochu? (How did it go?)

Dinesh slaps his forehead. It was his first Valentine's Day and he missed it. He had many plans but forgot all about it because of work.

Dinesh quickly grabs his phone and click on the contact Pappa🥰 (Baby). After 3 rings, the call is answered and he hears a soft hello.

One the other side Mithra was silently chuckling.

Dinesh- Athulam kidaiyaathu. Ennaku lovers ah celebrate pannanum. Sunday free ah? (No. I want to celebrate as lovers. Are you free on Sunday?)

Mithra- Naa free than. (I'm free.)

Dinesh- Apo Sunday 21st than nammaku Valentine's Day. Athu ean special theriyuma? (Then Sunday 21st is our Valentine's day. You know why that day is special?)

Mithra- Eaan? (Why?)

Dinesh- Because athu namma one month anniversary. In fact, innime every year Feb 21st than nammaku Valentine's Day. (Because that is our one month anniversary. In fact, from now on Feb 21st is our Valentine's day.)

Mithra- Unga amma sonnanga. Neraya vela vantha saapuda maatinga nu sonnanga. Olanga saapudunga. (Your mom said. If you have lots of work, you won't eat properly.)

Dinesh- Nee epo amma kitta pesuna? (When did you talk with my mom?)

Mithra- Athai daily phone panni pesuvanga. (Aunty daily calls and talks on the phone.)

Dinesh- Paaru da. Marumagal ku daily phone aana paiyanukku verum text than. Ippovae favoritism. (Look at this. Daily phone call for DIL and only texts for son. Already favoritism. )

Kavya immediately grabs the phone.

Mithra blushes immediately after realizing another person was listening. Kavya puts the phone near her ear and talks to Mithra.

Kavya- Hi, naa Kavya. Dinesh oda coworker. Sorry en naala than Dinesh ku neraya vela. Don't worry. Engagement, kalyanam, honeymoon ku lam no disturbance irukura maathiri naa pathukuren.

(Hi, I'm Kavya. Dinesh's coworker. Sorry, because of me Dinesh has lots of work. Don't worry. I will make sure there is no disturbance for your Engagement, wedding and honeymoon.)

Mithra- Aiyo paravala nga. Kandipa enga engagement and kalyanathuku varanum neenga. (Oh no it's ok. For sure you have to come to our engagement and wedding.)

Kavya- Kalyanathuku mudiyaathu because US la irupen apo. But don't worry, engagement ku kandipa varuven. Apo paapom. (I can't come to the wedding because I will be in the US. But don't worry, I will definitely come for engagement. We will meet then.)

Kavya hands the phone back to Dinesh and informs him.

Kavya- Innum 10 minutes la meeting. Seekram vanthurunga. (There's a meeting in 10 min. Come quickly.)

Dinesh nods quickly and turn his attention to his phone, while Kavya picks up her laptop and leaves for the meeting.

Dinesh- Athu enga onsite lead. Rendu perum neraya sernthu vela seiyanum naala friends aitom. Nalla type. (That was our onsite lead. Because we work together a lot, we became friends. Good person.)

Mithra- Nalla pesuranga. Kandipa meet pannanum. Aama ungaluku ethaachu velaiya? (She talks nicely. Definitely have to meet her. Are you busy?)

Dinesh- Aama pappa. Meeting start aaga poguthu. Night pesalama?  (Yes pappa. Meeting is going to start. Shall we talk at night?)

Both cut the call together with smile, and continue with their day. Thought their mind was focusing on the work on hand, both hearts were eagerly waiting to connect again.
