Garroth's POV:

My brothers and I see from the beach that the girls returned with two other men. We all looked at each other and slowly walked over to greet them.

"Girls? Is everything okay," I asked.

"Garroth, Vylad, Zane! We are so sorry," Aphmau exclaimed. "We got in a gun fight with some idiots back in Colorado Springs and we needed a place to hide."

"Shh, it's okay," I say. I felt upset. She looked so panicked so, I did what I thought was right. I hugged her. "Are any of you hurt?"

"Garroth is right," Zane admitted. "I hate to admit it but, the well being of you all is more important than our secret."

"T-Thank you," KC says. "Are Kawaii~Chan's friends okay?"

We all noticed that the two men were not saying anything. The brown hair one was frantically helping the one with white hair.

"Travis, he...he blocked a bullet for me," He says, tears in the corner of eyes. "His neck won't stop bleeding!"

Vylad ran over to them, seeing the situation. We all saw the horror of what happened. It thankfully looked like it could be healed over time but, he was losing blood rapidly. Like always, my youngest brother took action.

"Garroth use this," He says, handing me a bottle they must've been using. "Get me some water!"

I nodded and rushed over to the water, filling up the glass. I ran back to see that Zane got some aloe leaves for Vylad. I gave him the Water and he started to pour the salty water on the wound. The man, Travis, groaned in pain. The other, Laurance, looked to be completely upset about the whole situation. He let Travis' head lay on his lap with a palm leaf under his white hair to help make it more comfortable. The girls were trying to stay back. Zane didn't want them to interfere.

"Here," I say, kneeling down next to Vylad, cupping my hands. He poured the remaining water in them.

I was about to use my healing magicks but, Laurance stopped me.

"Don't hurt him!"

"I promise I won't," I say calmly.

I let the water trickle on to Travis' neck wound, making it disappear. Sadly, my magicks can't do wonders with large wounds so, a large scar was left on his neck. Katelyn handed Vylad some tape bandages. Zane applied the aloe on Travis' neck and Vylad covered it, letting it heal by itself.

"Thank you...so much," Travis spoke, his breath still heavy.

"It's our pleasure," Vylad said, standing.

I handed the water bottle and the remaining bandages back to Katelyn.

"We should let him rest," I suggest. "We could bring him back to our camp if you like?"

"That would be very kind of you, please," Aphmau says, smiling.

•••

I really shouldn't say camp. We lived in a medium hut with an open space. Pillows, hammocks, and a lot for cooking were inside. I gave up my hammock for Travis to rest in. He immediately fell asleep.

"Is he going to be okay," Laurance asked me.

"Of course," I say with a smile.

He smiled back, mentally thanking me. The others were settling in as well. Vylad was starting to make dinner, Zane was helping KC set up the sleeping areas for everyone, while Katelyn and Aphmau were going through their supplies. I decided to ask Laurance a few questions.

"Can we trust you," I asked.

"Yes. Who would I tell," He smirked.

"Heh," I chuckled.

"It's nice to meet you..."

"Garroth."

We firmly shook hands. His attention was taken by Travis changing his position in his sleep.

"Are you two close," I asked.

"As friends. We lost someone dear to us...we bonded over it."

"You're a great friend then," I say.

"You seem to be one to Aphmau as well. You really did calm her down back there."

"It's odd. I barely know her."

"Well, you calmed me down as well. Maybe 'cause you're this whole...water element?"

"Maybe...I'll leave you alone with him."

He nodded and went back to Travis. I walked over to Vylad.

"Are they-", He began to ask.

"Don't know," I smiled, nudging him.

He chuckled and went back to making soup.

"How long do you think they're going to stay," He asked.

"Maybe a few days. With Travis' wound, I don't want my magicks to fail when he's out there."

"I'm sure you did fine," My brother assured me. "Can you hand me that mushroom?"

I did and went on with the conversation but, I went to our language, not wanting the others to hear.

(A/N: The language is Zulu, just in case if you were interested. Also, it's google translate so, don't know if it's actually saying the right things.)

"Kufanele sitshele?"

Should we tell them?

"Cha, maduze kakhulu."

No, too soon.

"Ucabanga ukuthi umama nobaba badumala?"

Do you think Mother and Father are disappointed?

"Sisindise impilo yomuntu. Kungani bebengaba?"

We saved a man's life. Why should they be?

"Izihambi zisendlini yethu eyimfihlo. Basitshela abantu ukuthi beyingozi futhi akufanele babe khona."

Strangers are in our secret home. They told us humans were dangerous and shouldn't be here.

"Uma benenkinga bangangena kimi. Ngaphandle kwalokho, ngeke babe khona isikhathi eside."

If they have a problem they can come to me. Besides, they won't be here for long.

After that, we ended the conversation. I looked over to Zane, who understood everything and agreed with Vylad. I guess it gave me some relaxation about this whole situation. I helped Vylad Dush the soup and passed it out to everyone. Since we were all exhausted, we all hit the sack.

"Garroth," Aphmau whispered.

"Yes?"

"You know what's my favorite thing about your home?"

"What?"

"The sound of the waves, putting me to sleep."
