I lay on the floor. My head was spinning. The room was shaking. My body was trembling. Yet I was laughing for some reason. Dance music was blaring in the background and muffled voices and shouts echoed and rang through my ears. Strobe lights blinded me and there was a humid mist in the air. I felt a hot breath by my ear.
"What are we going to do with you," it whispered. It was then I became painfully aware of what was happening. I was drunk at either a party or a club. But my only interest was to get out of that hellhole. I felt the same person pull me up by my arm and drag me out the door.

The first thing I noticed was the cold. As cold as concrete. I looked to see Farkle on my left- adjusting his beanie. Then Maya and Lucas.
"Where were you? You were supposed to meet us here half an hour ago!" Maya exclaimed.
"We had some complications," Farkle looked at me nervously.
"I sighed and leaned my head back against the brick wall behind me. It appeared we were outside someone's house- presumably of whomever threw the party.
"You didn't- again?" Lucas looked worriedly at me.
"You need to stop blacking out at parties Riles, it's not healthy," Farkle spoke.
"Guys c'mon, our parents will be home in fifteen minutes."
"My dad's gonna kill me, but I have too much of a headache to drive home."
"It's fine, I'll drive,"Farkle took my wrist in his hand and led a staggering Riley to his car.

I hummed along to the vintage track as they progressed along the road. Farkle chuckled.
"Did you have fun then?"he questioned, glancing at me.
"I guess, I never really do, so don't know really, ever since Auggie went into hospital."
"I understand." Farkle looked sadly at me. I tried my best attempt at a smile.
"Thanks for dropping me off," I wrapped him in a quick hug before hurrying through my door. Only to see my parents. A smug look plastered across their face.
