4 ~ The Aftermath

It had been several months after my birthday. Natsu and I redid that night at least once a month. No one still knew we were dating but that was about to change. I had become pregnant. Quickly I texted Natsu to get his ass to my apartment. Within five minutes he barged into my apartment and yelled. "F/N?! What happened?"

"In my bedroom!" It had been a few weeks since we last had sex because I started getting sick.

"Oh~. You're feeling better now?" He opened my door and if he was turned on, he sure as hell wasn't now. Tears were running down my face and my room was a mess. "What's wrong?"

I looked at him and took his hand. "I-I'm pregnant..." The air went still. No movement. Only the sound of our breathing. Natsu soon broke it and hugged me tightly.

"That's great news. I'm gonna be a father." He put on his normal smile and did a thumbs up. A smile formed on my face now.

"Thank goodness you're not mad or upset. I was pretty scared you would be!" I sighed in relief.

"Why would I? I love you with all my heart. I'd die to protect you." He looked confused.

I looked down. "We need to tell our guilds..." Natsu's breathing hitched then went back to normal. "They're bound to find out. We should tell them before they find out without our knowledge." He nodded in agreement as we went to Fairy Tail. Our heart were racing and my guild mark was covered, so was his.

"Oi! Flame Head! Where ya' been?" A half-naked guy with black-ish blue hair yelled.

"None of your business Ice Princess!" I questioned their friendship.

"Who's the hot chick?" He asked making me blush. I heard someone whisper a "Love rival" which scared me.

Natsu punched him. "I was gon' introduce her to the guild Popscicle!" I calmed down knowing Natsu would protect me. "Oi! Listen up everyone!" He yelled gaining everyone's attention. Murmurs were heard all across the guild hall. Some even scared her because a few people recognised her. "This is F/N L/N! She's my girlfriend!"

"H-Hello..." I waved and removed the piece of cloth covering my guild mark. Gasps came from all over the area.

"Raven Tail?!"

"Why is SHE here?!"

"Why is Natsu dating her?"

I began to cry but Natsu squeezed my hand gently, reassuring me. "Shut up! She is part of Raven Tail but she's like Flare! She's nice! And well...she...she's pregnant." Everyone shut up now. The murmurs stopped and were replaced by silence. "With my child." A few people came up and hugged me. Others glared at me, still unsure.

"Natsu, Raven Tail isn't going to be this friendly...are you sure you wanna tell them too? I could always leave and join Fairy Tail...but I don't want to leave Flare." Natsu hushed me with a hug.

"It'll be fine F/N, we can tell them and if they aren't happy then so be it." I nodded. He always knew what to say.

After I met a bunch of the guild members we went to Raven Tail, they immediately recognised Natsu and glared at him. "Everyone... This is Natsu Dragneel... The father of our child and my boyfriend." People scoffed and left the guild hall, pushing me over and walking away. Flare quickly got up and hugged me.

"F/N... I'm so happy for you." Everyone glared at Flare, Natsu, and me. Obviously they weren't happy. Master grabbed my hand and removed my guild mark, telling me to get out. I was heart-broken and burst into tears, Natsu glaring at him and taking me to Fairy Tail asking if I could join. Everyone of course said yes and I joined Fairy Tail.

After a few weeks I had settled into Fairy Tail, they treated me better than Raven Tail ever had. Flare came and visited every so often. She was the only friend I had in Raven Tail - actually she was the only kind person. When Flare visited she always talked to the baby and gave me a hug. Normally she stayed for a few hours at a time. Everyone loved when she visited. Today she actually came with a bag, it seemed like a present. "Hey Flare, what's this?" I asked pointing at the bag.

"It's a gift. To both you and Natsu, I hope you two like it..." She smiled and watched us open it. It was a little blanket with the Fairy Tail symbol on it. "For the baby."

I cried a bit and hugged her. "Flare it's perfect! Thank you so much!!!" She hugged back, wiping my tears.

"No problem. The baby deserves a little gift. Plus, I made it myself." Flare smiled and then got a hug from Natsu who also thanked her. For the few hours she was there she talked to Lucy, Gray, Juvia, Natsu, and me. She had made several friends in Fairy Tail, she was basically a guild member.

"Say Flare, why don't you join Fairy Tail?" I asked with a smile.

"I would but Master gives me special jobs...they pay quite well..." I nodded in understanding. "Sorry F/N."

"Hey, don't apologise. I just miss being in a guild with you, ya know?" Flare nodded.

"I should get going. See you all later!" She left with a smile and wave. 

Natsu and I smiled. "She's gonna be an Aunt to this baby. Auntie Flare. Do you like that little one?" Natsu said to my stomach. I chuckled and kissed his head.

"Baka. Of course the baby likes it! But I have a question for you."

He stood up. "What is it?"

I took a deep breath and whispered in his ear. "Do you want to get married?" As soon as I asked that he kissed me. I took it as a yes and smiled, kissing back. We were definitely spending the rest of our long lives together. Through thick and thin.
