2 ~ Fairy Tail

It's been several weeks since I met Natsu. Occasionally I'd walk over to Fairy Tail and give our secret knock. It was basically three knocks a pause and two knocks. He would do the same if he came by my house and visa versa. He's really nice and comforts me when I need him and Flare. They get along pretty well, I mean Flare and Natsu both use fire magic. We enjoy being near each other. Today was any other day, well almost. It was my birthday and the day of my parents' deaths and Igneel's disappearance (along with the other dragons). I was officially eighteen years old. Tonight Natsu was taking me out for dinner and told me to wear something nice.

As excited as I was, I was nervous. I decided to wear a semi-skin right dress that went down to my knees. The dress became more loose as it got longer so it didn't constrict my legs. It was a beautiful F/C dress with a few strips of O/C scattered around it. It wasn't strapless but it didn't have sleeves. It had a wide strap that coved most of my shoulder but still showed skin. Especially where it was needed to show skin. Natsu told me to be outside at 19:00 and it was 18:42. I heaved out a long sigh of nervousness before grabbing a black sweater and clutch. Before I left my apartment I checked my light makeup. It was S/C powder foundation with some F/C eyeliner and pink Chapstick. My H/L H/C hair was down and natural. I didn't really like makeup but I couldn't look shitty. I also hated putting beauty products in my hair.

After what seemed to be a few seconds the clock read 18:55. "Oh shit!" I cursed as I ran out the door, turning out my lights, and locking apartment. It didn't take long for me to see Natsu approaching me. He was wearing a black blazer with khaki formal pants and a formal F/C collared shirt. Surprised by his appearance I didn't even notice he wasn't wearing his scarf. "Wow Natsu... You look amazing."

He smiled and took my hand kissing it gently. "As do you F/N." A light blush spread across my face at his actions. "Ready to go?"

Without hesitation I nodded and we walked off to a restaurant. It wasn't extremely fancy but it was fancy. "Th-This is...Natsu it's so amazing... How did you manage this..?" I gazed into his onyx eyes.

"I took quite a few jobs with good pay and I managed to afford this." I gawked at him. Natsu Dragneel actually PLANNED something. "I wanted to do something special for your eighteenth birthday, and you have a present at my house that I will give to you." I nodded and hugged Natsu tightly, whilst blushing and smiling, and lightly kissed his cheek. He knew this was a thank you. After I kissed his cheek I pulled away and took his hand, walking into the restaurant. We told the waiter the name of our reservation and he led us to a table. It had a nice white table cloth with a rose in a small glass vase. There was a small F/C candle and two white plates along with the silverware. Natsu and I sat down.

"Natsu, why would you go this far just for me?" Curiosity in my voice. His cheeks started to turn the colour of his flames as he opened his mouth but soon closed it, sighing in the process. "Natsu?" I asked once again.

He sighed and grabbed one of my hands, making my cheeks heat up. "F-F/N..." I nodded for Natsu to continue. "I-I love y-you..." That did it for me. My face turned into a tomato-like colour. I carefully stood up and walked over to him, sitting myself on his lap, and deeply kissing him. It wasn't hard for him to realise what was happening because he soon kissed back. And it wasn't gently, but it wasn't messy. It was loveable. It was nice. In all my life, I never would've thought I would fall in love with a Fairy Tail member. None-the-less the brother of one of the people that murdered my parents! We smiled as we kissed each other then soon pulled back so I could go back to my seat. Luckily the waiters didn't see us. That would've been embarrassing!

After a couple of minutes the waiter came and took our orders. Natsu ordered some sushi and rice balls. I ordered F/D with some miso soup as a side. The waiter soon left and Natsu and I began talking. "So since we kissed and all...is this our first date?" I asked.

"I-If you want." Natsu said awkwardly scratching the back of his head with a slightly blush. I chuckled and smiled, earning a smile from Natsu. "Will you be my girlfriend F/N?"

"Of course!" My voice chimed with love and happiness.

It didn't take much time at all for our food to arrive. Natsu and I immediately dug in, not caring to be 'prim' or 'proper'. Honestly we got a few weird looks but we didn't give a fuck. We just ate as a happy couple.

After an hour or so we were able to leave. That's when Natsu remembered. "F/N! My present for you is at my house. C'mon let's hurry!" Natsu grabbed my hand as we ran off to his time. Excitement ran through my body, the mystery of gifts was something I had always loved. Whether it be something small or large, it's always a puzzle.

Now I knew, Fairy Tail, was a very good guild.
