Chapter 16: Experimenting much?

Lucy's POV

Sting was breathless. He stared at me, a shocked expression on his face.

"Are you s-s-serious?!" he exclaimed happily. I nodded my head. I expected Sting to hug me and smirk and saying how he got me now, but  he didn't. He just sat there, as his eyes became the base for a waterfall.

"Lucy~~!!!" he wailed, as he sniffed and tried wiping his eyes with his hands. Awwww, how cute! He had a faint blush, probably of embarrasment, but eh, who cares?! I have something to tease him about!

"Sting.....why are you crying?" i asked with a smile on my face. He looked up.

"Sand got in my eyes.....how about we go for a walk? Like we used to?" he asked. He lies so bad. Sand? There is no sand in this room. His pleading eyes for a walk tempted me.

"Okay fine, one wouldn't hurt." i smiled. He cheered.

"Hey, are you going back to your guild soon? You're their master afterall." i said, as we stared at the night sky.

"Yea, i will soon. But i want to stay close to you. How do i do that?" he asked, as he propped himself on his two shoulders, as i lay down beside him.

"I don't know." i replied.

"Hmmm, Rogue would have a fit if i weren't to be with him....i guess i'll have to visit you." he said.

"A long distance relationship?" i asked, as the words just tumbled out of my mouth, "And you make Rogue sound gay."

"No no no! It's not like that!...... And gay? I'll take that into consideration." he reasoned, and i smiled. I laughed much to his surprise.

"I know. I'm fine with it. As long as you love me." i said. Sting smirked before fisting his hands.

"We can be homeless, we can be broke." he sang, as he pointed his pinky finger out. I looked at it, as i repeated the lyrics. He did the same, before we crossed our pinkies. A promise.

THEY BOTH WENT TO LUCY'S HOME LATER

"Can i please stay here the night? And tomorrow? And the night after? I'll leave soon...but i want to be with you." he pleaded, those eyes widening and coming in handy for him again.

"Fine.." i said, as he engulfed me in a hug. He caught me off guard as we both fell onto the bed. Apparently, my shirt rolled up and Sting began tickling me.

"S-stop!" i laughed. He smirked and the two of use rolled endlessly in the sheets.

"Sleep." he said, and i guess we slept like that. Hope no one comes in....of course no one would come in! Ha. That's crazy talk.

STING'S POV

I smiled happily into Lucy's chest. I finally got her. The girl i was longing for all this time. There are no worries for me now. I hugged her tighter, and i could hear her snores. Sweet.

I woke up this morning, to find Lucy playing in my hair. I decided to tease her a bit, something i haven't done in awhile. I growled slightly, causing her to gasp.

"You know, i bite." i said. She pulled her body away from me as she stared at me.

"You wouldn't bite me." she said confidently. I smirked, my pointy dragon-like teeth pointing out a little.

"Yeah?" i asked, as i leaped forward and pushed my head in the crook of her neck. I pretended to open my mouth before she started laughing.

"Someone's about to bite you and you're laughing?" i asked.

"Yeah. Hey, can you come with me to the fair in the next city? Please?" she begged, as she batted her eyelashes. I couldn't resist, even if she didn't do anything.

"Of course blondie." i said, as she jumped up quickly to ready herself.

Before going, she went to the guild and told them where we were going. They said okay, although her pesky team wanted to come, if it wasn't for Erza and Mira who said, "Let those two be!" Each had a glint in their eye.

I wouldn't even guess what they were trying to say. Lucy and i had to board a train, which was bad luck because i ran out of Wendy's tablets. Shoot.

"Here, rest on my lap." said Lucy calmly, as i did i was told. It worked, miraculously.

"Look, you can see the city already." i said, as i pointed at the window. She looked out. I was right, because even from my position, i could see it.

"Time to go." she said, as we....or i struggled to get out of the train. After stepping out, Lucy was amazed. I guess she likes fairs? Or festivals? Cute.

She ran around, waving at me to hurry. I caught up with her.

"Hold my hand, this place is crowded." i said, as i grabbed her hand. I led her through the busy-ass crowd. Sometimes, she was being tugged by the mass number of people and i had to keep a firm grip on her hand.

When we got somewhere less crowded, which was the park, we were finally able to reach the booths.

"There's still so many people!" she exclaimed.

She saw an ice-cream booth or something, and ran to it quickly. I sighed before chasing her. I never knew she liked ice-cream.

"Do you want?" she asked. I shook my head.

"Nah, you go ahead." i said. She smiled before ordering her chocolate ice-cream. After paying and recieivng her treat, the two of us strolled around. Sometimes, when she was looking the other way, i would sneak a lick or two from her ice-cream.

I was about to do another one, but i pushed to far and my entire mouth area got ice-cream. She turned around before staring at me.

"Hey! You're stealing!" she scolded, as she got tissue and cleaned my own face.

"I was trying to get your attention, but it seems like you're in love with the festival and not me." i said, as i pretended to be sad.

"Haha very funny." she said sarcastically. We went into the more busy areas, and i accidentally bumped into a girl. Lucy was beside me, but she didn't see. I bent down.

"Sorry." I muttered. The girl looked up and my world stopped.

"Sting? Fancy meeting you here." she said with a smile.

"S-Sasha?!" i exclaimed, grabbing Lucy's attention. She turned to me before glancing at Sasha.

"Umm, we have to go. Bye." i said quickly, before leading Lucy away. I could feel her curious gaze on me. As we neared a more peacefuly area, she yanked her hand away from mine.

"Why were you in such a hurry? It's not like she was going to bite." she said. I sighed as i ran a hand through my hair.

"It's nothing." i snapped, as she looked taken aback.

"But---"

"Mine your business." i hissed. She looked down to the ground as she fiddled with her fingers. I sighed again.

"Umm, i'm going to go over there....i'll catch up with you later." she said, as she ran off to another area. I groaned as i sat down on a bench and rubbed my head. Oh god, now i've ruined our relationship. Fuck?!

"Having a hard time?" asked a female voice, as i felt someone sat next to me. I looked up to see Sasha.

"Not really." i replied.

"You know, you should have been nicer to your girlfriend. " she said, stressing on girlfriend. She narrowed her eyes at me.

"Look, i don't have time for this."

"Oh really? Because it seems like you're cheating on me." she said smugly. I stared at her.

"Technically i am, okay? But that was back then, not now."

"Nuh uh, we're still together." she said, as she shifted closer to me and held my hand. Her eyes peered into mine.

"Sasha----"

Before i had time to continue, i yanked my hand away and stood up, staring right into Lucy. I was relieved that she came.

"Don't. I'll head home. See ya." she said, her bangs covering her eyes. Wait, she didn't hear the conversation, did she?!

"No Lucy it's----"

"Forget it, Sting." she said, as she left without another word. I turned back to Sasha.

"You've cost me my girlfriend!" i yelled.

"Your temporary one. She was a replacement for me." she said.

I growled at her before running off to the train station. I hope i'll be able to catch the same train as Lucy, otherwise i'll have to wait for another one. Sadly, luck was not with me as i arrived just as the train departed.

"Damn." i cursed.

After getting on and then off the second train, i ran off speedily. I  was so quick that i was able to see Lucy enter her apartment. Before i had a chance to say wait, the door closed.

I pounded on the door, calling her name.

"Blondie! Come on, open the door!" i exclaimed.

"Why should i? I hate you!" she yelled back. I slumped down across the door, as i pounded over and over again.

"Lucy please.....it's not what it looked like." i pleaded.

"No, i don't have time for you and your girlfriend."

"Wait!"

"Answer this question: Did you technically cheat on her?"

"....Lucy...."

"Answer me!" she yelled back. I gulped down, as i wanted to explain but i had to answer her.

"Yes....." muttered.

"I knew i shouldn't have trusted you." she said, as sniffs were heard, "Goodnight Sting."

I didn't want her to go. I wanted her back, i couldn't survive without her! I sighed. She wouldn't open the door no matter how much i begged. Might as well stay in front of her door, she can open it in the morning when she's heading to the guild.

As morning approached, my predictions were right. I leaned against the door, and it swung open. I fell backwards on my back, a quizical look on my face as i landed under Lucy's skirt. Oh well. I turned around quickly and stood up.

"Can i help you?" she asked, but i could tell that she would cry any moment.

"Just please hear me out." i begged.

"I don't think----"

"Just sit down! I don't care if you refuse, just do it!" I exclaimed, as i pushed her back inside, closing the door with my feet and pushing her on a chair.

"Look, yes, technically i did cheat on her....." i started.

"So now you're going to make me cry?" she asked, as she was almost at breaking point.

"No no no! She was an old friend. Before she left to go somewhere, i guess she got confused when i was upset. She probably took me for being upset because i loved her. And then she said that when she and i would be in a relationship, when she returns, we can be together. After that, she just left, there was nothing i could have said." i explained, as i got on my knees.

Water was dripping on my hand the entire time, and it was not Lucy's, but mine.

"You i-idiot!" she mumbled, as she cried. Was it me or were we both crying?

"Please blondie, forgive me. I never expected her to return!" i replied. Her hold on my hand tightened.

"So....are you going back to her now?" she asked softly.

"No! Never! I will never do such a thing!"

"But you made a promise! You're not supposed to break those! So go...." Lucy is very strict with promises, not like i could do anything though.

"Guess what? If i go to her, the number of promises i made with myself for you in my heart will be broken. I'm not going to risk that. Besides, i've found love." i said, as i got up. I brushed my knees.

"I'm sorry....." she muttered.

"How about we put all of this away? It's not your fault, and it's not mine. Okay?" i asked. She nodded her head slowly.

"Good girl. Do you want to go to the guild? That was where you were supposed to go, right?" i asked.

"Yea. Won't Rogue get upset since you're not going back yet?" she asked, as she sniffed. I smiled.

"Maybe." i said, before the two of walked out. It felt nice again to be with her. Just yesterday i was sure she would have broken up with me. And then she would hate guys again.

"Lucy....i will make sure that you will never have to hate guys again." i said, as we entered Fairy Tail. She smiled widely.

We spent some time there doing nothing but talk and stuff. I can see why she likes Fairy Tail. And her team only talks and laugh with each other. It's a family friendly place if  you ask me. However, someone interupted our conversation together when the guild doors flung open.

"STING EUCLIFFE?!!!" exclaimed an angry yet familiar voice. Rogue. He appeared at the front, his eyes blazing along with two furious cats next to him. Wow, even Frosche was angry.

"Umm, hey!" i greeted awkwardly, as i walked up to them. Rogue grabbed both of my shoulders and shook me back and forth.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" he yelled.

"He's been with me all this time." said a quiet little voice from behind. Rogue's grip loosened as he removed his hands. His frown changed into one big-ass smile.

"Oh Lucy-san! Is that so? Sorry then." he said, as he brushed my shoulders and shook blondie's hands.

"Hey asshat!" exclaimed Lector, as he pulled Rogue's hair. Frosche joined in too, until Rogue got upset again and put them down.....and then fixing his hair.

Lucy and i sweat-dropped at how quickly he changed attitude towards me. As soon as Lucy came the idiot calmed down.

"So Rogue....you came here for Sting?" she asked.

"Yes i did. He had us all worried. I thought he was blown off by you on your birthday and got himself drunk then went shanking another woman." he explained, as he huffed carelessly. An anger mark appeared on my head.

"What do you take me for?!" i exclaimed. Lucy laughed.

"I'd say he was 1/4 correct." she said. Rogue smirked. I knew she was talking about Sasha.

"Did he give you any trouble?" he asked.

"He was a lot of trouble, and very annoying too." she said.

"I'm right here you know." i replied stiffly.

"Yes, i know that mr.bee." she teased, before leading Rogue and the two cats into the guild's mainhall.

"Not funny blondie!"

"Come here will ya?!"
