Backstory: When he was younger, Sawyer lived in DC. He discovered that he was an Aviad in fifth grade. He was found by a fellow Aviad and accepted into their flock. However, time went on and the flock had to disband due to VOID interventions, so he lied to his parents that he was tired of the city's small space and they moved to Port Baile, NH. There, he started to gather more Aviad friends and slowly became the unofficial leader of the flock. His family is fairly wealthy which enables him to care for the rest of the flock with his resources.

Name: Atlas Rosenbridge

Face Claim: Alex Pettyfer

Backstory: Atlas was raised alone by his hard working father. He never knew his mother and his father was always away trying to provide for his son, so Atlas spent a lot of time alone as a child. Atlas is pretty tall and is therefore pretty intimidating. One day when his father was away on a long business trip, Atlas had to come home early from fencing practice because he thought he had torn a muscle in his back. When he got home, he collapsed on the floor until the pain was suddenly gone and he'd sprouted his wings. Atlas continues to keep it a secret from everyone in his life.

Face Claim: Andrew Garfield

Backstory: Although he was the middle child, Lucian was never neglected and led a comfortable life. His parents were mostly out of the scene due to work and his brother, who is Lucian's closest confidant and best friend, raised him. Lucian was always into superheroes and powers and such, and when his power manifested he was literally bursting with excitement. Luckily, the only witness was his brother, who was supportive of him and introduced him to a friend of his, Sawyer Fortes, who taught Lucian everything he needed to know. Although he isn't a big fan of keeping secrets, Lucian is comfortably managing his school life with his home life, successfully keeping his secret.

Backstory: She grew up in a quiet area of town, not rich but not terribly poor. Though she is poor enough to know the hardships of going without a meal at home, she has always had free school meals, and she is only small, and doesn't need much food. As she grew into her Aviad powers, she was originally too afraid to tell her parents, afraid of what they would say or think, but when she did, they have been extremely supportive, and they only want her to be safe - only asking for her to keep her powers secret from everyone save her big brother Simon and her best friend since she started school - Amelia. Her parents contacted someone they thought could help: Sawyer Fortes. Sawyer accepted Lucy into his flock. Lucy only discovered her powers about 7 months ago, and is still learning about them.

Backstory: She has had a history of bad people in her life. She was found by Sawyer Fortes and is now a part of his flock.

Backstory: Carter was born into a middle class family. His life was pretty normal growing up. He played baseball as a kid and had a lot of neighborhood friends. When Carter was about 11 years old, his parents divorced. His father moved to Florida to be with his girlfriend, later turned wife. Carter's mom moved him and his sister to New Hampshire, legally changing all of their names to Duvall, her name before she married. They arrived in their new city when Carter was 12 and in the seventh grade. He dyed his hair blond as a fresh start and hasn't looked back since.

Backstory: Alvira has always done what she can to survive school, and that's about as far as it goes. She grew up in a well-off family, but they most certainly aren't rich. Alvira has a very small circle of friends at school and usually she will chat with them over the phone when at home. She discovered she was an Aviad during her Junior year of highschool. Luckily, she was in her bedroom when her wings emerged, so no one had seen her, but she was quite distressed and confused. Not knowing what to do, she snuck out her window and into the woods behind her house. Alvira wandered around for a while before Sawyer Fortes found her. He taught her everything she needed to know and she was invited into their group. She never told her friends at school about it.

Name: Ivy Baxton

Face Claim: Malina Weissman

Backstory: Ivy was always a bright mind full of questions. Her parents were drunkards, mainly unmanageable, and wanted to crush that spark of intelligence with violence. She was seriously abused until she was six, when she rang the police and her parents were placed in an asylum. She was sent to an orphanage, the only place available for her at the time, where she was given tasks much too hard for a six year old. She grew strong and resilient, and her intelligence only grew. She learned to put up with the hardships of life. She has experiences rare shoulder pains but puts it down to hard work. Her years spent inside a grey building have given her a love of nature, and she loves to climb and run. Every night, she creeps out of her room/dormitory, and stares for hours at the stars and moon, envying their freedom. She considers them her closest friends and often talks to them. She longs to be able to fly into the sky with them.

Name: Sabine Moore

Face Claim: Erin Chambers

Backstory: When Sabine was 2 years old her parents died in a car crash in which she was the only surviving member. Growing up as she did, in an orphanage, was hard, but Sabine had an imagination like no other and her dreams of running away and of freedom kept her going, although she was anything but happy there. She has lived in the same room all her life, doors and windows locked to prevent anyone getting in or out. The staff at the orphanage work the girls hard and don't allow visitors, so Sabine has developed an ability to entertain herself, often thinking out loud or having one sided conversations. She also used this time to teach herself some martial arts and is physically adept. She discovered her Aviad nature when she was thirteen and loves to fly. She often sneaks out through the window to join the flock, and has been known to go missing for days at a time, always returning with some terrible excuse for her absence which no one believes. At first she was afraid to be an Aviad but now she rejoices in it. Because of her isolation when she found out, she feels protective towards others at a younger age and would take them under her protection.
