we were at the top of the mountain, looking at the destroyed enemy base and runway "you not serious" rooster spoke looking at mavericks face

i took the binoculars from maverick and looked through the hole "i think he's dead serious" i said out loud

rooster took the binoculars from me "you've go to be shitting me, an f-14?" he groaned

"i shot down three migs in one of those" maverick nodded

maverick looked at me and sighed, i nodded understanding. there's only 2 seats in the f-14, this is why i'm back up though. i'll find a way

rooster shook his head "we don't even know if that bag of trash can fly" i chuckled at his words and when maverick stood up

"let's find out" i got up too following him

rooster called out after us "mav!" he said "sav!" he after a second he caught up towards us "okay"

he pointed in front of us "there's guys up there mav"

"and over there" i also pointed out to them and they were all running

mav started picking up the pace before fully running "yeah, let's start running"

"yeah run" rooster followed him and looked back at, seeing that i was laughing "cmon run"

i obeyed and we ran to the old f-14, maverick told him his instructions and got into the plane

i saw roosters face drop "wait" i gave him a soft smile "what about sav, she has to g-"

i walked up to him "promise me that when you land, you won't regret anything" he shook his head "bradley, you have too"

"i don't have to do shit" he protested "im not letting you stay here alone"

"rooster cmon" maverick called out "we've got to get outta of here"

"and leave sav here?" rooster scoffed at the idea

"bradley you need to go, i'm going to find a way, i promise" i told him firmly and put my hand on his cheek and wiped tears that weee coming out of his eyes

"but" i cut him off by giving him a firm kiss on the lips "i love you too" he told me

i smiled at him "go home" i pushed him towards the plane "i'll meet you there"

i glanced at him one more time with a smile, telling him that i love him. and i ran off as the left

what the fuck am i gonna do?

i ran to a nearby tent that wasn't hit by a bomb, "yes" i gasped looking at an enemy air craft that was of course an f-14

i went to the box thing and did everything i needed to do before flying the plane

once i got in the plane i moved it out onto the runway and immediately stopped

how did rooster and maverick take off with a big ass tank (whatever it is lmao) thing in the middle of the runway?

what the hell am i supposed to do?

"you've got to be kidding me" i sighed looking straight in front of me
