Emma's POV
"Oh my God can you believe it. We're actually going to see One Direction" Alana squealed. I smirked at her. "Calm down Alana and help me find the venue" she shook her head. "Ok ok take a right then it should be on the left" I nodded and followed her directions. My heart was beating faster the closer we got. I still can't believe I'm doing this. "We're here we're here" Alana shrieked. I took a deep breath and turned into the arena. After driving around the arena, I finally found a parking spot and parked the car. "Got the tickets Al?" "Yep let's gooo" she shrieked again. That girl needs to take a chill pill. We got out and went to find out seats. We were in the fourth row. I was impressed these were very good seats but I can't shake the feeling that Alana's not telling me something. "Omg omg omg OMG" I chuckled at her excitement. "Al calm down the show hasn't even started yet" "I can't help it I'm so excited" "I know but save some energy for the concert because it'll be over before you know it" "I know Im just so excited " "but Al it's not like we're gonna meet them" she looked down. Wait. "Al what is it" I asked nervously. "Um about that" just as she was about to tell me the lights went down and the crowd started screaming. I took a deep breath and prepared myself. The music started playing and the boys started coming out one by one. I looked down for a second just trying to calm my breathing. "Em" Alana nudged me. "Look at them aren't they the most beautiful boys you've ever seen" I looked up and I saw him. My heart just about exploded. He was wearing a plain white tee shirt, skinny jeans and converse. His hair was longer and messier but still he was so hot, when did he get so hot. Time has been very kind to him. Then all the sudden I was in another world. He was just so mesmerizing. Before I knew it the concert was almost over. Was I really consumed by Harry that much? "This last song was our first single, and we want you to sing it as loud as you can. This is What Makes You Beautiful" Harry said. Wow his voice has gotten much deeper. I took this time to look at the other boys. They were all very hot. The kind of guys that would be the hot football players and I would go to every one of their games just to stare at them for hours but I would never actually talk to them. As they sang I saw Harry's eyes light up. He was still so adorable, how is that possible. My heart skipped a beat because Harry's solo was coming up. He stopped walking and all the other boys were around him. He was looking right at me. Shit. "Baby you light up my world like nobody else the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed, but when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell you don't know, you don't know you're beautiful" wow his voice in itself just consumes me. His voice has gotten a lot better over the past two years. "Thank you Toronto you've been amazing, have a great night" Liam said and just like that they were gone. I sat there in shock. That was amazing. "Wow that was really amazing" Alana smiled. "See I told you they were great" I smiled "yea they were. Now come on we gotta get out of here" "we'll we don't have to go just yet" I looked at her confused. "What do you mean the concert ended" "yea but my parents got me backstage passes we get to meet them" she squealed. I froze in place. "W-what" "come on" she grabbed my wrist pulling me backstage to their dressing rooms. I was in too much shock to even protest. No no no this can't happen not now I just saw him. Isn't once from a distance enough? We showed the guard our passes and he lead us to the boys. Alana knocked on the door and we heard them yell for us to come in. My heart was about to explode. She opened the door and I only saw four boys and none of them were Harry. Phew. "Hello ladies" I smiled at them and waved. Alana was surprisingly calm or at least she acted like it. "Hi boys! I'm Alana and this is my best friend Emma" I smiled and waved at them, grateful Alana could do all the talking. "Hi Alana and Emma, I'm Louis but you can call me Lou. That's Zayn, this is Liam and that's Niall" they all waved at us. "Nice to meet y'all" "Harry's just in the bathroom" we nodded. "Hey you're from down south aren't you? Liam asked. "Yea what gave it away? Was it the hat or was it the boots" Alana said flirting with Liam, you go girl. "Actually it was the cute accent" Liam winked. Alana blushed. "So you're both from the south" Niall asked. "Well I am Emma's from England" they all looked at me and I gulped. "Really?" Lou said excitedly. "Yeah, I was born and raised in England but moved to Texas a couple years ago" I whispered. "She's very shy" Alana explained. "That's very cute" Niall said making me blush. "So where in England are you from?" "Cheshire" I whispered. "Where in Cheshire" Liam asked. "Holmes Chapel" Lou perked up. "No way did you know Harry" I was about to answer when I heard someone walk in the room. "What about me" his voice sent shivers down my spine. I slowly turned around and I was faced with those same simmering green eyes that belonged to the boy I loved longer than anything. "Emma" Harry looked at my teary eyed. I gave him a small smile. "Hi Harry" before I could even process what was happening, he wrapped his arms around me tightly. "You're here" he whispered. He was so tall. The top of my head reached his collarbone. When did he get so tall? "Em if you don't hug me back it's gonna be really awkward" "you have my arms pinned down" I whispered and he slowly let go of me. He looked at me for a while. "When did you get glasses?" I smiled and readjusted them. "I fought it as long as I could but I had to admit defeat" "I know Em. remember when we were playing football and you totally missed the goal because you kicked it the wrong way" I smiled and nodded. "You were blind" "I was not blind I just couldn't see far away" "mmm you were blind" I blushed and rolled my eyes. "They look good on you. Now you actually look like a cute nerd" "oh my god shut up" I chuckled. "So how are you Em" "do you care, because last time I checked you forgot all about me" "Em" "I'm just assuming because you never answered my calls or my texts, so I just assumed that you got everything you wanted right. "Em please" "please what Harry, forget the fact that my only best friend ignored me for two years" hey it's not just me ok" "what do you mean" "you moved Emma all the way to America and you didn't tell me. So you think you lost me when really I lost you" "Harry I called you the second my parents told me I was moving but you didn't answer" "wait what" "Ok I think the lads and I are gonna show Alana here a tour of the stage" Liam said wanting to give us time to talk. "Oh ok" Alana said. As she walked out with the rest of the boys. Harry shut the door behind them and turned towards me. "Emma listen, the auditions were very intense. I was either rehearsing on stage, doing voice lessons or sleeping" "ok then how did you call Anne" "they only gave us ten minutes to make personal calls a day so I figured I'd call my mum and she'd fill you in on everything" "oh" "Emma I  never forgot about you. You were all I ever thought about when I was away even now I still think about you constantly. When I came home for the house party I wanted to see you so badly. I wanted to tell you everything but when mum told me you were gone I tried to call you but you didn't answer" "Harry I was already gone, and I got a new phone with the same number but my parents didn't want to pay for the international calling plan" he looked down. "Oh. Just know this Em, I am so sorry about everything. I never meant to hurt you I promise. I missed you so much" he said while spreading his arms out for another hug. I stepped back quickly. "Can you forgive me" I looked down. "I don't know if I can Harry" he looked down and wiped a tear from his eye. "Em please" "Harry you don't know how badly you hurt me. I can't trust you, and honestly I haven't thought about you in years" he looked at my then down at my wrist and smiled. "Then why do you still wear the bracelet I gave you" I looked down and sighed. I haven't taken that bracelet off since the day he gave it to me when he left. "To remind myself never to trust anyone again" I said looking in his eyes. There were tears in his eyes and in that moment every feeling he ever gave me came rushing back all at once. "Can you please let me make it up to you Em" I sighed. "I don't-" "Em please. I owe you that much" I sighed. He was right and if anything else I do miss Harry and he seems genuinely sorry. "Ok Haz but this is your only chance" he smiled so big and wrapped his arms around me. "Thank you I promise I won't let you down" "I'll hold you to that" I smiled as he rolled his eyes. "I know you will Em" he smiled. "Ok we'll Alana and I better get back to our hotel" "ok but first you said you have the same number right?" I nodded. "Ok I do too so hang on" he whipped out his phone and started to call someone. I waited patiently then heard my phone go off. I looked at the caller id and realized Harry was calling me. I shook my head and answered the phone. "Hey how's it going?" He sighed and hung up the phone and pulled me into a hug. "I was just checking" I smiled burying my face in his chest. We stayed like that for a while then I let him go. "I'll text ya later, after we get back to our hotel" "ok we can talk later" I smiled and opened the door and all the boys and Alana fell into the room. "What are you guys doing" Harry asked raising an eyebrow. "We weren't eavesdropping we were just checking to see if the door was uh sound proof" Lou said sheepishly. I rolled my eyes. "It was nice to meet you boys. Come on Alana we gotta go" she nodded and we all said our goodbyes. We made it back to our car and started the engine and drove back to our hotel. Alana wouldn't stop hounding me with questions about Harry. I was too tired to answer them though so I just stayed silent. We made it to the hotel and we walked into our room. "Ok we're back. Safe territory enough with the silence" "are you hungry you wanna go downstairs and find a restaurant in the hotel or order room service" "Emma" "what" I asked. "Explain" "Explain what Alana" "Harry how do you know him" I sighed. "When I lived in England, I lived in Holmes Chapel and Harry and I were best friends since birth. We were inseparable but then he auditioned for x Factor and we lost touch which is why I was mad at him and I still am. Then I moved and I planned on never seeing him again until you got tickets to see him" "so does he know about your anxiety" "he was the first person to know outside of my family" "so you never thought to tell me?!" "Alana I'm sorry I just didn't want you to treat me differently" "Emma I would never treat you differently. I love you bestie always" she said hugging me. "I love you too" she let me go and sighed. "So wanna go get food?" "Yeah I'm starving" I said. So we went downstairs to find a restaurant in the hotel. We found a place that has a bit of everything so we went there. As we were standing in line waiting to be seated, I heard someone call me. "Emma over here" I turned around and saw Louis waving to us. The boys all walked over to us and smiled. "What are you two doing here" Liam asked. "This is our hotel" Alana said and Harry perked up. "Really this is our hotel too" Harry said excitedly. "Oh that's awesome" "you guys wanna eat with us" Niall asked. "Sure" Alana said while I nodded. "Great" Harry said as the waitress walked us over to our table. We sat down and started talking. "So what've you been doing Em?" "Um nothing much just trying to survive high school" "oh yeah how's that going" "pretty well I have  A's in all my classes" "I'm not surprised you are one smart cookie" I blushed. "Thanks" "hey guys I have an idea" Lou shouted. "What's that" Alana replied. "Let's all go swimming in the hotel pool" "isn't it closed I mean it's almost midnight" Alana asked. "It closes at 2am" we all nodded and finished eating. Then we all walked back up to our rooms and got ready to go swimming. Alana picked out a cute white bikini with monarch butterflies all over it. While I picked a cute black one piece.

We put our bathing suit covers on and met the boys down at the pool. We got there and the pool was huge with a few chairs on the side of the pool and at the end.

"Last one in's a rotten egg" Lou yelled since we were the only ones dumb enough to go swimming at midnight. We all jumped in and had our fun. Harry and I had a splash war while Liam was trying to help Alana float on her back and Lou, Zane and Niall were playing Marco Polo. We were all having a blast. After two hours of swimming, we all got out because the pool was closed. I was sitting on one of the chairs drying off when Harry plopped down next to me. "Hey Em I just had a great but crazy idea" I smirk at him. "You wanna try walking and chewing gum at the same time, I'll get the first aid kit" he rolled his eyes at me. "No Em I'm talking about a sleepover" "oh ok yeah that would be fun" "great my room or yours" "well let me go tell Alana" "ok" I walked over to Alana and sat next to her. "Hey Alana Harry and I are gonna have a sleepover are you alright with that?" "Oh yeah that's fine Liam's gonna come over to our room and have a sleepover with me so that's fine" I smiled. "He is?!" She nodded. "We'll have fun, but not too much fun, teen mom was a cute movie but I don't want you to live it" she chuckled. "Ok mom I'll be fine" I smiled and walked over to Harry and sat down. "She's cool with it but it has to be at your room because Liam's sleeping in my room with Alana" "is he really?!" "I know right I'm so happy for her" "come on we should get your stuff" I nodded and walked back to my room with Harry. I changed into my pajamas, grabbed some clothes and my toothbrush and headed over to his room. We walked in and I plopped down on his bed. He quickly went into the bathroom and changed he came out and plopped down next to me. "So how long are you guys here for?" "Three more days" "Ok, so what do you wanna do" I shrugged. "Wanna watch a movie?" "Yes whatcha got?" "I only brought Love Actually and the Notebook" "the Notebook" I gasped. "Thought so" he chuckled. He popped it in and we got under the covers and cuddled together. "I missed this" he admitted to me, and I blushed. "I missed you" I said while looking up at him. "I missed you too Em" I laid my head on his chest and drew circles on his chest with my fingers just like old times. The movie ended and he turned it off and turned out the light. "Harry" "yes love" "I'm scared to fall asleep" he looked at me. "Why?" "I'm afraid that if I go to sleep, I'll wake up and you'll be gone" I whispered. He tightened his grip on me. "Em look at me" I slowly looked into his eyes. They shimmered in the moonlight. "I promise, I will never leave you again, but if I have to go for tour or something, I'll always come back to you ok? I promise" he rested his forehead against mine. "Ok" "go to sleep Em" I nodded and laid my head on his chest again.

I smiled he was singing our song to me. I instantly felt like we traveled back in time to when we were young and innocent. I relaxed and closed my eyes and listened to the rest of the song knowing that I was safe and I'll be asleep soon.
