Emma's POV.
I sat on the couch doing my math homework. Hopefully I can finish this soon so I can watch tv. I always finish my homework before I had my free time, even after a busy day at school. It's just my routine. Hi I'm Emma Perribow. I'm 16 years old and I live in Cheshire England with my mum and dad. I'm almost done with school, finally. I'll have my GCSES soon and then Its summer vacation for me! My best mate Harry Styles and I have some awesome plans for this summer. Harry and I have been inseparable since birth. We do everything together. I chewed the tip of my pencil like I always do when I get stuck when I heard a knock at the door. I got up and walked towards the door and immediately saw a head of curls. I smiled opening the door and was greeted by a hug. "Hey Emmy" I blushed as I nuzzled my face into his neck. I've had a crush on Harry for a long time. I say crush, more like I've been in love with him for the longest time. "Hey curly" I said as I let him go and stepped aside letting him in. "Can we talk for a bit" he asked looking a bit nervous. I closed the door and faced him. "Um I don't know I mean I have a lot of work to do" he rolled his eyes playfully. "Come on Em, it's important. You can't do schoolwork all day. It's not good for you. You can go back to being my little nerd later" he put emphasis on the word little because I'm very short. "I don't spend all day on my school work" I huffed. "I only finish my homework and then I study-" "study every subject for thirty minutes a day, I know I know" he finished for me. "Please Em" he pleaded. I finally nodded wanting him to continue. "What happened did you get rejected?" I said half joking and he just glared at me. "No Emma I didn't. You know I'm not good with girls, besides you're the only girl I need in my life" I chuckled "I know Haz I'm just teasing, so what's up?" "Well, you know the show X Factor right?" "Oh yeah I love that show" I smiled. "I know, anyway I'm going to audition for it in a few weeks" he rushed out. I looked at him wide eyed. "Oh my gosh Harry that amazing I'm so proud of you" I squealed and jumped into his arms. Harry's always had a great voice, even when he was little. He would always sing me to sleep when I couldn't get to sleep or after a hard day to calm me down. "Thanks short stuff" he whispered as his lips brushed against my ear. I let him go and we started at each other for a second. "Hey Haz" I asked. "Yeah Em?" "Can I go finish my homework now?" I smirked as he groaned. " Fine fine fine" I smiled and grabbed his hand and led him to the couch. I continued to work as he laid on his stomach in front of me. "Ya know you are the cutest little nerd I've ever seen" he said smiling his perfect smile at me. "Thanks but don't you have homework to finish too?" I asked raising an eyebrow. He just shrugged. "Yeah but ehh who needs school" I glared at him "I do and you do too if you want to get your GCSES" he huffed. "But I left my bag at home" he said hoping I'd let it slide. "Then go across the street and get it." I said. Harry and I have lived across the street from each other our whole lives. "It's too farrr" he whined. I slowly looked up at him. "Harry" I growled. I watched as his eyes were laced in fear. "Ok ok I'm going" he rushed holding his hands up. "Thanks sweetie" "you're welcome love" he replied as I blew him a kiss. He walked to the door when it already opened. "Emma we're home, oh hi Harry how are you" my mum asked as she put the groceries down. She instantly wrapped her arms around him. "I'm good Jen, how are you?" "I'm good thank you" my mum replied. I stepped into the kitchen and saw my dad putting the groceries down. He then held his hand out to Harry. "How are you doing sir"dad said shaking Harry's hand firmly. "I'm doing good sir how are you?" "I'm good thank you" Harry always used my parents first names when addressing them. He was part of the family. "Hey mum, can Harry sleep over so we can get caught up with homework tonight?" "Sure" she smiled. "As long as you help unload the groceries" I nodded. "Thanks mum!" "I'll help too and then I'll go grab my stuff" Harry said helping me unload groceries. "Sounds like a plan" I said.
After the groceries were all put away I walked Harry to the door. "Aren't you comin?" "Ah I would but I have a lot of work to do" I said. He looked disappointed but nodded. "Ok I'll be back in a jiffy" he said. "Ok but remember to get all your stuff, we have a lot of work to do. Oh and say hi to Anne for me" I said pushing him out the door. "I will see ya in a bit" he said as he turned around and walked to his house. "I'll be here" I whispered. If only I knew what was coming.
