Job Is Done
Eighteen-year old Jungkook, right as she remembered him, stood before her, smiling.
"Happy Birthday, Chaeyoung"
Chaeyoung couldn't take her eyes off him, wouldn't take her eyes off him. She couldn't lose him again.
"Jungkook...... I miss you. Please stay I miss you."
Jungkook smiled sadly
"I'll always stay with you," he said, he pointed to a spot behind her shoulder. "I'll be there, Holding your back, forever."
Chaeyoung just ran to him, but she passed through. She looked back in surprise, and saw that Jungkook's form was fading away.
Chaeyoung panicked
"No! Jungkook, you said you would stay."
Jungkook remained silent. He just kept fading, until he couldn't be seen anymore.
Chaeyoung took a moment to let it sink in. Then she picked a flower from the patch, held it close to her heart, and with that she left finally turned around ready to leave not only the forest but his memories as well
Jungkook exhaled. That was nerve racking. Carrying out of the plan had seemed to be easy at first, but at the time of action, seeing Chaeyoung emotionally weak had left him feeling heartbroken. He had started questioning his decisions. But in the end it was all for the best.
Now the job is done. It was time to go back. It was time to go to back. It was time to say goodbye. The Final Goodbye.
