Chapter 27
I closed the book in my hands, reliving all the scenes from it. I completed 'The Vampire Academy' and couldn't help but think of all the events in it.
If I think about it, it kind of reminds me of my life except for the vampire part. The main characters are a student and a teacher just like me and Seokjin except they are in love with each other.
My mind kept on drifting away to various thoughts and possibilities driving me away from my sleep. I tossed and turned in my bed to find a comfortable postion to sleep.
Trying to clear my mind was impossible especially after that shower incident two days ago. I tried to forget it but everytime I see his face it just creeps back in.
He didn't forget it either, I could read it from his eyes. We tried our best to brush past it and not talk about what happened that day to avoid the awkward atmosphere.
Tomorrow I am going to meet Han and Jimin in a restaurant near Jimin's place. I finally told them I have to tell something to them.
Whatever they be thinking they will never be able to guess what I'm going to tell them.
I'm kinda nervous about their reaction towards it. What if they hates me for keeping it from them. Seokjin agreed to meet them back here after I tell them. Only if they want to though.

I took the bus and came earlier than I thought. Near the restaurant there was a small park where most people come for a walk with their dog.
Since they won't be here in another few minutes I decided to just walk by the park. It was nearly the end of January and climate was more walm than usual.
"Eliza." I stopped walking hearing my name being called.
I turned around and saw a familiar face but I don't really remember his name. He was the guy I met at the New year's eve party. The one who asked me for a drink. What was his name again? Nick? Nate?
"Nate?" I decided to try my luck.
"You remember me. I thought you must have forgot." He smiled ruffling his chestnut hair while looking at me.
"Nope, we're in the same class after all." Lie, but it's ok. He's happy, I'm happy, all are happy. I assured myself.
"So what are you doing here?" He asked me eyeing around as if looking for someone.
"My friends will come shortly. I came early, so thought I would just walk around." I told him. "What are you doing here?"
"I come here most often. This place is so peaceful and I like to take a stroll down here."
"Yeah I like it here too. Especially when people come with their puppies." I cooed remembering the pomeranian I saw last time I was here.
"I bring my puppy here too. Maybe next time I can show him to you."
"You have a puppy." I exclaimed. Let's say I really love dogs, although I have never had a pet before. My dad was allergic.
"Yup, Shih Tzu."
"Aww, I love those. What's the name?"
"Ash."
"You shouldn't have told me about the pup. Now I really want to meet him."
"Sure, let's take him together next time. Can I have your phone? So we can exchange numbers." He asked me expectantly.
He seems a really good guy and not a creep like the one I befriended through online. So I guess giving my phone number won't be bad.
"Yes sure." I handed him my phone. He saved his number and gave a call to his. Then gave me back the phone.
"So until next time then. Your friends are here." He informed me.
I tuned back and saw Jimin and Han getting off the car.
"Bye Nate." I waved at him and so did he.

Now we have come to the crucial part of explaining to my buds about Seokjin. I kinda forgot about the reason why I was here after all the pup talk with Nate.
We were sitting on the restaurant waiting patiently for our food. Although my mind was totally the opposite.
"Wasn't that Nate? The one you were talking to." Jimin asked with a smug smile.
"Yeah and why are you smiling like that?" Actually both of their expressions were creeping me out.
"Nothing." They both replied in unison.
"So what is it you wanted to tell us?" Han spoke.
"Are you maybe dating in secret?" Jimin asked wiggling his eyebrows, making it all the more difficult for me to speak.
"What, no? I'm not dating. I wanted to tell you guys about my roomie."
"He likes you right?" Han exclaimed victorious. "Told ya, Chim. Hand over the money."
"She didn't say anything. So no money." Jimin croaked.
"Guys guys guys stop. Did you two just bet on me?" I was offended. What all are they thinking behind my back?
"Maybe." Han admitted sheepishly.
"Whatever no one likes no one, okay? I just wanted to tell you who he is."
"I bet he is hot." Han again.
"Not as hot as me for sure." Jimin piped in.
"Ohh please you all are deviating from the topic." I tried to bring them back.
"You are our cute little mochi. Chim chim." Han cooed lifting her hands to squish Jimin's cheeks.
"Get your hands off me, human." He swatted his hands to shoo Han.
"MR. KIM IS THE ONE I AM LIVING WITH." I shouted, getting tired of all the bickering between them.
All at once both of them went silent. Infact the other customers even went silent to look at the three of us.
I mumbled a sorry to others and got back to the two idiots.
"What did you just say?" Han spoke at last.
"Mr. Kim is the guy. Not Jacob."
"Jake." Jimin spoke.
"Huh?" I asked not understanding what he meant.
"It's Jake not Jacob." He corrected. Ohh I forgot the imaginary roomie's name.
"I'm sorry guys. It's just he was our professor and it would be really weird, if others find out we live together. I should have told you earlier, I'm really sorry."
For a few seconds it was complete silence. Neither of them spoke. I was beginning to regret everything I did, when finally Han spoke.
"It's okay we understand." Jimin nodded his head agreeing with her.
"Yes Ella, it might be hard for him to trust us. He didn't really know us. So yeah we understand." Jimin assured me.
"Thank you guys. Thank you so much for understanding."
"So is he home now?" Han asked.
"Yup, he actually asked me to bring you guys over. So we could all, you know, get past this."
"We will come over. But not today, my roommate is having a party at our place, I need to help her out." Han told me.
"Yeah, we both will visit together one day." Jimin spoke.
"Sure guys."
"So tell me. How's the guy?" Han smirked.
"He's a really nice guy. Very friendly, funny and easy to hang out with."
"You seem to like him." Jimin added.
"Yeah." I admitted. "But not the 'like' you guys might think."
They didn't say anything, instead started laughing.
"Don't make me regret telling you." I warned them.
"Alright alright." Jimin finally stopped, followed by Hannah.
We sat their for some more time catching up with lot of things. Mostly about Seokjin, how things were between us, were we really friends or more like acquaintance.
They were surprised but happy at the same time. They liked how comfortable I am with him and also satisfied that he was a really nice guy and cared about me.
So all in all it went perfectly rather than my imagination. It felt like a big weight on my chest is off of me. All the burden finally vanished.
Now the only thing I need to keep in mind is not let my parents know of this. If they find out I'm living with my professor, even if he is not teaching me next semester onwards, they are going to do something. They might even make me move out or drop out from the college. Yeah try trust me a lot. They can be a little controlling too. Maybe not 'a little'.
