They ran through the course like it was nothing, screaming, getting muddy, and tiring themselves out. For now i was just watching them do it. The course itself was in the forest, which i had to trust them to protect me. I didn’t think it’d be hard since they were Alpha’s and Betas. 

The course was an exact model of the Marines course “The Crucible.” Anyone was allowed to do it but only the higher ranked knew about it. Those who weren’t higher ranked, tended to get lost trying to find it i guess. 

Tyler and Dylan went to the starting line. 

“On Go, let’s do it seriously. Fastest, you and me, ready set go!” They took off. Both of them jumped over the wood beam swiftly, hands latching onto the bars after jumping next. They flipped themself over with ease and ran to the next obstacle after jumping over yet another beam. They jumped on another beam, stood up, gripped onto the metal rod horizontally hanging. Their feet swung up and wrapped around as they crawled to the end then stood and balanced as they ran down the rounded wood. It reminded me of a balance beam but rounded and inclined down. they made it look easy and did it all with ease. Once to the end of the balance beams, they launched over another two beams and ran to the 12 ft tall wooden wall. A few feet away from it they both jumped and grabbed the top and flung themselves over. i noticed more beams to jump over except they weren’t as spaced. They reminded me of the bunny hills that bike races ride over and jump. The boys looked like bunnies too. Psh! I could do it so much better I bet! They jumped over two more bars before climbing up ropes like monsters. Once their feet got to the floor they didn’t even look tired. They gave each other high fives. 

Both of them laughed before looking over at me. i stood, eyes wide, staring at them. The rain probably made me look even more crazy with my hair plastered to my head. They jogged over to me before laughing. 

“Yea, you aren’t doing that course.”

“What why not?” i quickly asked.

“Cause, i feel like goin out. Dylan, how you feel about Zero Gravity?” He asked.

“Hell yea man!”

“Tell Addison to meet us at my pack house. I’ll bring her to my sisters. Meet you guys there.” Dylan nodded and smiled as he took off running to the school. Tyler looked at me grinning.

“What is Zero Gravity?”

“Oh nothing. Find out when we get there!” he laughed. i punched his shoudler. “Ok, so i’m going to turn wolf. Do not be afraid of me please. i will not hurt you. When i do, get on my back and we’re going to run to my house ok.” i nodded

He shifted in under 5 seconds and lay down on his stomach. i slowly approached him and jumped on. 

‘Hold on tight’ he whispered in my head. i leaned down on his back and gripped his fur. Eventually we reached a mansion like house. We got to the door and i jumped off. He nudged me towards it and a man opened it and welcomed me in. Tyler followed in wolf form. 

‘Bring her to Sadie please, John. Tell her ZG and i sent the girl.’ Tyler said in our heads. The man in the suit nodded and closed the door. He told me to follow him as we went up the stairs and down a long hall. John, the man in the suit, knocked on a door before entering the room with me. 

A pretty girl lay on her bed with a bluetooth in her ear and the TV on. 

“Hold on, Kate, what is it John?” the girl said in an agrivated tone. 

“Deepest appologies, miss. Your brother has sent me to ask you to get this young lady ready for ZG.”

“He want’s me to get that ready? Hmm.. spin.” she said to me. i looked at her confused. “Spin in a circle.” i slowly turned around and stopped looking at her. “He said ZG? UGH! Alright. Thank you John. You may go. Close the door.” he turned and walked out and i stood there awkwardly. 

“Kate, i gotta go. Tye just sent me a girl for ZG tonight. Call you later. Don’t you dare continue the show without me!” she pulled the bluetooth out of her ear and stood up. “Alright, Zero gravity is a dance club. Lets go get you cleaned up i guess.” She walked to a door and i quickly followed. Her room was massive and probably bigger than my living room alone. The bathroom was bigger too. It had everything imaginable in it. 

We cleaned my hair and she did all my make up. By the time she was done with the make up, my hair was dried and she curled the ends making it wavy and shiny. This girl was a mircle worker because by the time she was done with the hair and makeup, i looked amazing and was ready to just go to the club now. But no, she wasn’t done yet. She led me across the room to her closet. 

“Look at the dresses. Tell me what you like if you find something. All of this room are dresses. So just let me know.” she started going through the dresses. There had to be around a few hundred dresses in here. i started going through them seeing mini dresses that were very bear and revealing. i wasn’t very happy at all. I barely liked wearing shorts or even short shorts and this barely covered your butt. 

“How about this? Yeah let’s get you in this. She pulled out a black, one sleeve dress. It looked short but longer than most of the others and actually kind of cute. i nodded, took it and put it on. It hugged every single curve as it went down just below my butt. 

“Alright, you’re ready. Go down the stairs the way you came. Tyler should be waiting.” she groaned. She deffinetely didn’t seem very nice or happy. i did disturb her though, but it wasn’t exactly my fault. 

i walked out and down the stairs. Dylan, Tyler, and Addison were waiting down at the bottom by the doors. Tyler gasped as soon as he saw me. The heels did great justice for my legs but i was still very self conscious too. 

“You look amazing.” Tyler said as i reached him. 

“Thanks...” i whispered. 

“Let’s go!” Dylan shouted. We walked out to the jeep and got in, Addison and i sitting in the back together. 

“Hey, you look amazing.” she whispered.

“Thanks, you look better though.” 

“Nah, ok so i know you’re nervous. i can feel it. Just relax. Let him lead and you’ll do fine. He’ll probably guide you. This is probably an early birthday present for you.”  she smiled. “How many days is it now?”

“Only two but maybe i’ll come a little late...”

“Nah, anyways, just relax ok.”

i nodded and smiled.

We reached the club and Tyler handed the worker his keys. He put his hand on my low back and glided me in the building behind Dylan and Addison. They went to the dance floor right away and started to grind. i froze at the site of all the people dancing. 

“Let’s go!” Tyler said. i shook my head. “Hey, relax, you’ll do fine. It’s all good fun and i’ll help ok.” he said. he took my hand and led me next to Dylan. His hands went on my hips and pulled my back against his chest. I know he could feel my shaky body against him. His hands moved my hips back and forth to the music. i caught on pretty quick and started acting like Addison and the rest of them. We couldn’t help but laugh when making eye contact. 

“Get on that.” she mouthed. i rolled my eyes and i could feel Tyler tensing. He probably saw what she said. 

“Kally, i need a break. Let’s go get some air please.” he whispered in my ear. i shivered at the closeness he was. He took my hand and led me to the door. It was completely dark out here now. 

“Kally, where did you learn that? i know you did before you came here...”

“I had freinds before you.” i smiled. 

“Sorry about thinking you didn’t know how to dance. By the way, you were really hot in there. You really know how to dance.” 

“Ha, thanks.” 

The door opened and two other girls came out. 

“Oh my god! Tyler! Long time no see! How are you!” One yelled running over and wrapping her arms around him. i took a step back. The other sneered at me. 

“Yeah, long time.”

“Have you see Alysia! She’s here too! She’d love to see you!” The girl whined more. “I miss you, you know...” she groaned. she moved closer. “Let’s go back to your place! You throw the best parties!” she continued. 

No fucking way! He was a player! i didn’t even see it coming! Why am i so stupid. i rolled my eyes and started to walk away, down the street. 

“No, wait, Kally, i’m sorry!” He yelled attempting to more forward.

“Fuck off!” i yelled. i continued to walk. 

Tears ran down my eyes. I should have seen it. Britney probably knew too that’s why they really weren’t officially dating. 

i continued walking, unknowing where i was. i didn’t care though. my life was already hell. Mike was gone. i was at some stupid school. i just got played by the Alpha’s son. What else could really go wrong. i just wanted to run away from all of this!

“Woah, what we got here?” a voice suddenly said after five minutes of walking. i paused and looked around, unable to see through the darkness.

“Look’s like she’s scared.” Another voice said behind me. i turned around fast and kept trying to make my eyes adjust but they just woudn’t.

“Yeah, we could have some fun with her. Doesn’t seem like she’s with anyone.” Yet another laughed. 

“Who are you!” i yelled.

They moved forward, a few feet from me. “Your worst nightmare.” They laughed. One wrapped their arms around me. i pulled away before i felt my back to someone else’s chest. i brought my elbow back and stomped my foot on theirs. The grip released and i bolted forward. i got to the end of the road and ran into the forest. i didn’t care if the wolves were there anymore. These guys were going to kill me anyway. 

i jumped over a tree branch and before i could land, someone tackled me to the ground. i screamed and tried to move away but they had put all their weight on my stomach. 

“What’s your name?” He asked. i screamed and closed my eyes, slamming my hands at his chest.

“Let me go, please!” i yelled. More tears ran from my eyes. 

“Shh, i don’t need this attention. How about this. I’ll take you to my boss’s place. he can decide what to do!” he yelled. his fist came fast hitting my cheek and knocking me out.

i woke up on tiled floor. Men stood around me grinning. i rolled over onto my stomach and froze when i saw blood drip from my forehead. The men luaghed. 

“She’s the beta that Justin tried to kill!” Someone yelled. 

i shook my head. Justin never tried to kill me! Well he did but that was yesterday and they wouldn’t know about that.

“Yea, they killed her best friend too. That other omega fucking lived though!” 

Oh fuck, they’re talking about the forest attack. 

Suddenly, immense pain shot through my whole body. i screamed in pain and curled up as everything started to pop and crack. it felt like my insides wanted to be on the outside. My head pounded with my fast beating heart. What the hell did they do to me!

“She’s changing.”

“But her birthday isn’t today!’

“SHe’s mated with an alpha!” 

These were all being shouted as my body shook in pain. i squeezed my eyes shut and my hands clenched in firsts. 

‘Kally, i’m coming! I’m so sorry!’ Tyler yelled. Soon, the front door to the building burst open and Tyler and Dylan stood there in wolf form. Dylan attacked all of them and Tyler came to my side in human form. “Ugh, i’m so sorry this happened.” he brushed his hand across my arm and i screamed in pain. 

‘Don’t touch her! You know what you are to her! It hurts her more!’ Dylan yelled in mind link. 

“Tyler, i can’t calm down. They talked about Mike! i’m sorry! I didn’t mean to.” i cried. 

“Shh, it’s ok. Relax, everything’s going to be ok.” Tyler said.

Dylan ran over. He slid his arms around me and picked me up. 

“We have to get her to Corey. He’ll know what to do!” 

By the time we reached the house, i was in so much pain. i couldn’t move without pain being there. Tyler refused to try and comfort me even. He wouldn’t even take my hand. Corey and Alpha were alerted as soon as it started. Dylan set me down on a metal table in a room that looked like a medical room. 

“She’s already like 15 minutes into the change!” Tyler yelled. 

“Please! Make this stop!” i cried. i rolled onto my side holding my head and curling up. 

“I can give her all i have to calm her heart but it might just postpone the change.” Corey said running to a counter. Tyler’s hand reached up slowly and touched my forehead and another wave of pain went through me. 

“Don’t! Her body knows i’m here. She has to change today and now!” Tyler yelled holding onto my hand still. Corey froze, looking back at all of us then to Alpha.

“Son, are you sure?” Alpha asked.

“Yes, i don’t think she’ll make it if we don’t try now.” his voice broke and he looked back at me. 

“Alright, Corey, do what you can.” Alpha groaned, putting his hands on his face and brushing his hair back.

Corey grabbed many needles and bags of liquids before jogging back by me and setting the things on the side table. He pressed my shoulders to the table so i lay on my back. Tyler moved by my shoulders and Dylan moved by my feet. Corey sighed before taking my arm and pressing one needle into it. Tears started to run from my eyes.

“Shh, it’ll be ok.” Tyler whispered into my ear. He wiped away my tears. 

“Alright, this one’s going to put her to sleep for a little. Her wolf will get rid of it after awhile and we’ll have to give her more until her change ends...if she survives.” Corey said. 

“Ok, Kally, i’m sorry for everything. If this is this last time we ever speak, i want you to know i love you. Everything i did was so you didn’t get hurt by Justin or someon else. I was stupid for trying to protect you but you know i did it for us. Don’t leave me. You have to pull through this change. It’ll hurt but i know you can do it.”

“i love you too.” i whispered. He leaned down and kissed me.

“Ok, i’m putting it in now.” The needle went in my arm and slowly the need to sleep overwhelmed me and i gave in.
