Aoife, me and the other Hufflepuffs followed the prefect to our common room which is said to be the most cosy and welcoming. Next to me was a tall girl with magenta dreadlocks which reminded me of Tonks. She told me that she was Nymphdora Lupin and her and her twin brother Mikey, who was in Ravenclaw, were metamorphosi.

At breakfast me, Aoife, Nymphy and Mikey walked up and sat next to Narcissa and Zoë. Narcissa groaned and went back to eating her cereal. She still had not forgiven Zoë even though she had done nothing wrong.

"I didn't do anything I didn't choose to be in Gryffindor and it doesn't change who I am!" Zoë shouted at her sister from across the table.

"Well everyone knows that you can tell the Sorting Hat what house you want to be in Harry Potter did it!" Narcissa angrily replied.

"That's not how it is, he suggested Gryffindor!" Zoë replied.

I hung my head as I felt embarrassed to be around these two infamous sisters shouting at each other. They had stopped now but were continuing to glare at each other.

"Are you going to try out for Quidditch?" Aoife asked me trying to break the ice.

"No we're first years and I would fail you know that," I replied sulkily.

" Well Harry Potter did it," She replied smiling.

"Will people just stop with the whole Harry Potter did it thing we are not Harry Potter!" I shouted back furiously.

Everyone went silent and Aoife and Narcissa stormed off. I once again hung my head what had I done.

My first lesson was Flying Lessons with Ravenclaw. Everything went smoothly until two Ravenclaws, Darling Furnando and Samantha Oakley, walked up to us and started harassing Mikey.

"Hey, Mikey what are you doing with stupid Hufflepuffs, join us," Darling smirked

"No we're his friends you douchebag!" Aoife screamed in her face.

"You like calling people that don't you, Alyssa told me about the train you hothead," Darling replied.

"That is it you pure-blood brat leave Mikey and us alone you can't treat people like this or you'll regret it!" I yelled furious at Darling.

"Ugh, Come on Sam," Darling u grunted as Samantha followed like a loyal dog.

"Alright everybody call your brooms," Professor Malfoy instructed starting the lesson.

I tried at first "Up,". No result. Again "Up,". This was aggravating but expected. I failed at all sports Football, Badminton, Rugby even Cricket. So this was normal but so annoying I was so embarrassed.

After that I had Care of Magical Creatures with Slytherin. We to pick a Hippogriff and name it. Then through the year we would look after it.

I named mine Mintie. Narcissa named hers Salazar. Nymphy named hers Sarah and Aoife named hers Grumphuff.

We had to feed them dead ferrets, which was gross by the way. The thing was I felt uncomfortable because both Aoife and Narcissa hated me after breakfast. So they glared at me all lesson.

Then Potions with Gryffindor which was torture because Zoë was so perfect she got everything right. She was so annoying. I saw why Narcissa hated her she was such an aggravating little perfect brat. Also Alyssa was pelting ingredients at me from the bench across the room.
