Ezra and had never felt so happy as he dusted the shelves. The same words jumped round in his head like a squirrel on caffeine.
'We're getting adopted! We're getting adopted!'
He didn't care what Miss Atama threw at him. Whether it being chores or objects, he dealt with it.
Sabine was the same way. She was too joyful to care what the headmistress made her do.
Saying goodbye to the old hag was a dream come true.
Friday seemed to take longer than normal to arrive but finally, it was Thursday evening.
The Bridger siblings had made Miss Atama dinner, did the last of their jobs and went upstairs.
The two closed the door behind them and went over to their bags.
Making sure they had everything, they zipped them up and sat on their beds.

"What do you think Kanan Jarrus is going to be like?" Sabine asked.

"Do you think he's married?"

"Dunno. But I hope so" Ezra replied.

"It'll be nice having a dad and a mum again."

Ezra suddenly fell silent.
Sabine glanced over at him.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Hmm? Oh nothing. It's just, we've been doing work for Miss Atama for years. What if Kanan is the same?"

Sabine bit her lip.

"I don't know" she replied.

"And what about us being magic? Do you think he'll be a Muggle or a Squib? Or do you think he'll atcually be a wizard?" Ezra asked.

"I want him to be the third one. Stop worrying Ezra. Any home is better than here" Sabine replied.

The Bridger siblings went to bed that night at nine.
Sabine fell asleep in fifteen minutes but Ezra lay awake. Staring at the ceiling.
Thinking about the next day. What if Kanan was exactly like Miss Atama?
He shuddered.
What if he was?
Then they were just moving from one prizon to another.
What would happen to them?
What was Kanan going to be like?
That was his final thought before slipping into sleep.
