Gryffindor: when you lie in bed during the rain, hearing it pound on the roof above you and watching it roll down your window. It is dark out, but the sky is occasionally lit up but a flash of lightning. You are warm and safe.

Ravenclaw: when the rain has finished falling and the mist hovers over the ground. It's just chilly enough to warrant a jacket. You wear boots because the long grass is wet. Everything feels dead but somehow it makes you feel more alive

Hufflepuff: when it is raining huge droplets, and you let them hit you. The puddles are speckled with the impact of the rain, and a little kid jumps into them to make splashes. Everything has the smell of rain, and the faint smell of mud

Slytherin: when the drops hit your umbrella and roll off the edges. Everything is sort of grey, and you would make a lovely picture if someone were to take your photo.
