Percy's pov

I can't believe he thought we were death eaters. I mean ok we have done pretty nasty stuff in our lives but eating Thanatos? That's a whole new level of grossness. Ew. If the Aphrodite cabin knew this they would be purifying themselves with perfume.

"Then why do you have the dark mark on your arm! Don't try to deny it, I saw it myself. On Percy's​ arm." Harry said. I knew this tattoo will be a problem one day, my mom had thrown a fit about it when I returned home after almost a year. Wait,

"What's a dark mark?" I asked them.

"It's what you have on your arm. Voldemort's followers have a special kind of mark on their arm. Symbolising them being a death eater." Hermione stated.

"Oh. Now I get it. Guys it's not a dark mark or whatever. It's a tattoo, a simple tattoo which is made by digging a needle in the skin. Nothing out of ordinary." Leo said. The way he said it was like it was the easiest thing to do. Trust me, it's not.

"Prove it." Ron said.

"Fine fine. I'll just show you." I said and rolled the sleeves of my CHB sweatshirt to show them my tattooed arm.

They inspected it closely and then Hermione pulled out her wand and said 'Revealio' (I don't know the exact spell🙄)

Nothing happened but she repeated the spell two more times before she gave up.

"It's real. It's not disguised." She concluded.

"Now you believe us? We are not death eaters. We just came here for a exchange programme from New York. For a change of environment, to have new experiences​ and fun. We have no bad intentions." Piper said.

Harry sighed and looked down and then suddenly smiled and came to hug me.

"I'm glad you're not one of them. It would be really hard to fight to you, cause you are my friend." He said. I forgave him right away cause I know how it feels to fight a friend to death. The memories of the battle in New York came rushing back. Luke. Charlie. Selena. Michel. So many of them, the feeling was overwhelming and I needed fresh air.

I pulled away gently and patted his back "I'm happy we sorted out our misunderstandings and we are friends again." I said and left the common room.

I sat on the soft grass near the lake. The water gave me a sense of calmness, which I very much needed. I don't know how long I was here but it must be quiet some time because Annabeth came looking for me.

"Annabeth I-" I started but she cut me off.

"I know. I know what you are feeling Percy. But there was nothing you could do. It was their fate, no one could have changed it." She explained. She has always been good at explaining things to me. I smiled and hugged her, feeling all the negative thoughts leaving my head.

"I was thinking​ we could do some sparring in the forbidden forest? I think you are getting out of shape. " She joked.

"Are you saying I'm fat?!"

"What if I am?"

"How could you do this to me wise girl! I thought you loved me!" I said clutching my heart in mock hurt.

"Whatever, my opinion wont change."

"I can kick your butt with my eyes​ closed."

"Oh come on get that pen out and let's see who kicks who's butt." 

And with that said we went towards the forest.
