Percy's pov

I was doodling at the back of my parchment paper waiting for our potions teacher while Annabeth had her nose buried in the textbook besides me. Jason and Piper were having a hushed conversation ahead of us and from the blush on Piper's face it was not hard to tell what they were talking about.

Nico and Thalia were playing some sort of game and seemed to have fun. Leo was again tinkering with some celestial bronze spare parts. I was bored out of my mind. Then I saw a pot of water on the teachers desk.

The next moment the water was flying in the air making various shapes. I din't move so people won't know it was me. Students gathered around to see the show.

Jason and Piper tried to cover their laugh and nico, thalia and leo just ignored it. Annabeth gave me a look. And that made me stop.

Just then the door opened and the teacher came in. I leaned near Annabeth and whispered "What's his name again?"

"Professor Horace Slughorn." She replied. I nodded and looked him up and down. Do they even know the meaning of exercise? I'm pretty sure he looks younger than he looks.

"Hello students welcome back and to the new students​ welcome to Hogwarts, I hope you have a good year. Now about potions....." I zoned out from there and just focused on not falling asleep, now that would be embarrassing.

The lesson was finally over and now we had DADA​. I don't know who is our teacher because from what I've heard, they change every year.

15 minutes have passed but no sign of the teacher. I guess they forgot they have a class full of hormonal teenagers waiting for them. But hey, I'm not complaining cause I was receiving encouraging kisses from Annabeth.

Then the door opened and that guy came in, I don't know what his name is but he is always glaring at the students as if they were his worst enemy and always has a cat with him.

"Professor McGonagall said to go back to your dorms. The lesson is cancelled. Straight to your dormitories!" All of us left the room as if it was on fire. I don't mind going at all. Truly.

Now what should I do for the next 45 minutes? I know exactly what!

Harry's pov

The DADA lesson was cancelled and everyone knows exactly whay, we don't have a teacher. For the past 7 years we never had a stable defence teacher and now we don't have one at all.

Ron, Hermione and I were off to Hagrids place when Ron tugged on my robe and pointed somewhere. It seemed like Percy and his friends were going somewhere. We decided to follow them.

They settled near the lake. Leo searched in his tool belt looking pocket and took out a sitting mat big enough for the seven of them.

All of them settled on it except for percy who took off his clothes and got ready to jump in the dangerous lake. The last time​ I was here I was almost eaten up by those creatures in it.

We have to warn them. They may be death eaters but we are not bad. I can't just let anyone die!

When percy almost reached the end I shouted his name.

"Percy! Stop!"
