I woke up in the morning and stretched my arms. I got out of bed and opened my curtains. I looked out the window. It was a sunny day.  Then, suddenly, a black haired boy popped up at the window.
"Hi, Sapphire!" He shouted.
I opened the window and he fell inside.
"Hi, Ruby." I yawned.
"Did you just wake up?" He asked.
"Yeah. And, next time you wanna come to my house, don't come to my window." I said.
"Yes, Ma'am!" He laughed.
"Excited? Today we have our first day of highschool!" I said.
"Yeah. Um... Sapphire.... Can we sit together on the bus?" I asked.
"Sure!" He exclaimed.
"I gotta go change, 'cause the bus will be here any minute now." I said and rushed to the bathroom.

-Ruby-

Sapphire went inside the bathroom. I got up from the floor and sat on Sapphire's bed. We were going to a school in which you don't have to wear a uniform. I was wearing a black t-shirt(just like A Kanto Adventure, the canon characters will have different clothes) with Hoenn written on it and dark blue jeans. Sapphire came out of the bathroom. She was wearing a light blue shirt with a large pokeball on it and dark blue shorts.
"Sapphire! Come downstairs! The bus is here!" Mom shouted.
"Coming!" Sapphire shouted back, "Let's go, Ruby." We left her room and walked downstairs.
"Oh, Ruby! When did you come?" Sapphire's mom asked me.
"Just a while ago." I smiled at her and we left the house.
We walked inside the bus. We found two empty seats and sat together.
"Good morning, children! Your school is in Rustboro City, so it will take us time to get there. But after that, you'll be staying at the school." The woman standing in front of all of us said.
I took my phone out and so did Sapphire.
"Hey, Sapphire." I tapped her shoulder.
"Hm?" She turned around and looked at me.
"What, Ruby? Speak up already." Sapphire said.
"Wanna play PokeRun multiplayer with me?" I asked.
"Looks like someone likes to lose." Sapphire smirked.
I opened the app and so did she. We went to the multiplayer option and put our phones next to each other. They made a beep noise so we picked up our phones knowing that sound meant our phones are connected. It said: Your phone has been connected to PokemonLoverSapphire's phone.
On this game you had to make accounts. You had to have a username and Sapphire's was PokemonLoverSapphire. I was using a different account than last time. It was because I forgot the password of my last account.

I looked at my phone. It said: Your phone has been connected to TheAwesomeRuby's phone. I laughed at his new username. I looked down at my phone and the game was going to start. We had to choose which Pokemon we're going to use in the race. Ruby and I both had 7. Our Pokemon list showed up.
