I finally bought my food and started looking for Ruby. I thought he might be in class so I started walking through the empty hallway. Suddenly, I felt someone's arms around my neck. I looked back and saw that it was Ruby. I blushed as I felt his cold fingers rest on my neck.
"R-Ruby, I b-bought you l-lunch." I said.
"Really? Thanks!" Ruby exclaimed as he let go of me.
We sat in class and started to eat.
"Mmm... This stuff is really good." Ruby said.
"I'm glad you like it!" I smiled.
The door opened and someone came in.
"Hi Katsu!" I said.
"Hey, Katsu!" Ruby exclaimed.
"Wait, you're in our class?" I asked.
"Yeah, also, I don't have a room, so Professor Birch said share with some of your friends and since you guys are my only friends..."
"You thought you'd share with us." I finished his sentence.
"Yeah." He said.
"Um, sure!" Ruby said.
"We have two beds, a small one and one for two people. Ruby and I can share one, and you can sleep on the one for one person!" I said.
"Good id- Katsuuuuuuuuu!" Katsu was interrupted by someone.
"D-Dad?!" I shouted.
"Oh, hey, Sapphire, Ruby. It seems as if you've already met Katsu," He said, "Anyway, Katsu, I found you a room. It's the room next to Ruby and Sapphire's. Only problem is, it doesn't have a bed."
"Hey, Dad. Ruby and my room has two beds. One for two people and one for one person. Ruby and I can share a bed, and you can take the one-person bed for Katsu!"
"Good idea, Sapphire!" Katsu said.
"So I guess we'll do that when your classes are over." Dad smiled and walked away.
-TimeSkip To Battle Class(after explaining what Battle Class is from the teacher)-
"So that's why you should always train your Pokemon to make its stats higher." He finished explaining.
"Now, the thing I've been hiding from you guys since the start of this class is....
We'llBeGoingToRoute116SoYouGuysCanCatchAPokemon." He said really fast.
"Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Slow down. What did you say?" Katsu said.
"I said we'll be going to Route 116 so you guys can catch a Pokemon." He said. The entire class started shouting except Ruby, Katsu and Me.
"Now, calm down." He said.
We all left the class with him, in a single line. We walked down the stairs and outside the school and to Route 116. The teacher gave all of us two pokeballs.
"Two pokeballs so if you don't catch it once, try again. If not both times, you'll have a second chance tomorrow but you'll be gone with my younger brother who is also a teacher of Battle Class but he's for HighSchool Year 2. I'll be with the ones who caught a Pokemon and they will be battling each other. Also, here. A Pokemon for each one of you to battle with." He said and told all of us the moves and stuff about the Pokemon he gave us.
Ruby grabbed my hand and started running forward but I left his hand and he fell down. Katsu and I burst out laughing.
"That was mean. Dropping me and laughing." Ruby whined.
-Later, No Ruby And Katsu Now-
I was walking around looking for a Pokemon but I couldn't find one. Suddenly, a Pokemon jumped out of the grass in front of me. It was a brown Pokemon that stood on four legs. It had some white fur around its neck which looked like a scarf. It was really cute.
"Go, Poochyena!" I shouted releasing Poochyena.
"Vee?" Eevee tilted its head.
"Poochyena, Bite!" Right as I said that Eevee noticed that I was battling it and started to run forward.
Poochyena bit Eevee's arm not letting Eevee attack it.
"Vee! Eevee!" Eevee said.
"Aww, it's so cute! I don't even wanna hurt it!" I said, "But I have to, so... Poochyena, tackle!" Poochyena ran into Eevee and tackled it but it was a bit slow and Eevee was also able to tackle Poochyena sending both Pokemon flying back.
"Now is a good time!" I threw the pokeball at Eevee.
It shook three times then made a ping noise.
"I caught it!" I shouted happily.
I returned Poochyena and let out the Eevee.
"I'm sorry I had to hurt you, little guy. I didn't wanna, but I'm not gonna hurt you again. You're my Pokemon, now." I stroked its fur.
"Vee!" It smiled at me.
"Ruby, Ruby!" I shouted.
"Yeah, what Sapphire?" He asked.
"I caught a Pokemon!" I exclaimed.
"Really?!" Ruby asked and ran to me.
"It's an Eevee. It's so cute, isn't it?" I said.
"Yeah, but I think it's sleeping right now." Ruby said.
"I wanna give it a nickname. I know! I'll name it what I named my Eevee in PokéRun! Vee!" I exclaimed, "From now on, you'll be known as Vee. But you can sleep right now." I returned Eevee to its pokeball. I went back to where our teacher was.
"Sapphire! You caught a Pokemon?" He asked.
"Yes, I did!" I shouted happily, "Here's your Pokemon," I gave him his Pokemon, "It's kinda hurt, so you should let it rest. My Pokemon is Eevee. I nicknamed it Vee. It's asleep right now. I'll show you when it's up." I gave him back the extra pokeball I had.
"Vee!" The pokeball burst open and Eevee came out.
I petted it's head.
"Isn't it cute?" I said.
"It's very cute." He smiled.
Vee climbed onto my shoulder and sat there.
"I guess it likes being there." I said.
"Guys! I have a Pokemon, too." Ruby ran to us and showed us his Pokemon.
"It's a Taillow!" I exclaimed. Ruby returned the teacher his Pokemon and the extra pokeball.
After Ruby, Katsu came. He had caught a Zigzagoon. When everyone came, we went back. A few students didn't catch a Pokemon.
"Now everyone, that's enough for today. It's getting dark. You'll have Battle Class and History tomorrow and probably everyday after that. Bye for now." Our teacher said.
We went upstairs and Dad took the bed to Katsu's room. Ruby went into the bathroom. He came out after changing his clothes. I did too. Ruby was really tired but I was watching T.V. I wanted to stay up but Ruby didn't. He lay down on the bed in a horizontal position with his head on my lap. I blushed at the way he was lying down. I was stroking his hair while he tried to sleep. Why did he always look so cute while sleeping?! No, Sapphire, you cannot have a crush on Ruby! Okay, there's no 'cannot have' in this. I guess I do have a crush on Ruby. Yes, I like him. Yes, it's fine. I hope.
"Sapphire?" Ruby said my name.
"Hmm?" I asked.
"Are you awake?" He asked.
"Yeah. I am. Why?" I asked confused.
"Because you were saying things.... I thought you were sleep talking." He said.
Did I say all of that out loud?
"Uh... What was I saying?" I asked.
"You were saying something like, "He looks so cute. I like him. I hope he likes me back." Were you talking about Vee?" He asked.
"Yeah. I was talking about Vee. Now sleep." I said.
Saved by Ruby's reason. Well, I guess I should sleep too. I turned off the T.V.
"Ruby, I've to turn off the lights. Can you get off of me for a second?" I said.
"I'm still on you? I'll get off, sorry!" Ruby exclaimed.
"It's fine, I liked it." I blushed.
"O-Okay." Ruby said and lifted his head. I got off the bed and he put his head back where it was before.
I turned off the light and used my phone's light to see the way back to the bed. I lay down and Ruby put his head on my lap again. I thought he was asleep so I said,
"When I started talking, I was talking about you."
Ruby's eyes suddenly opened and he stared at me.
"Y-You were t-talking ab-about me?" Ruby stammered.
"Guess I couldn't keep it a secret for long. Yes, I was talking about you." I sighed
"Well, um... I do too." Ruby said.
"Y-You do?" I asked.
"Mhmm." Ruby said and kissed my cheek.
"R-Ruby!" I hugged him.
"Um, Sapphire, can't breathe." Ruby said.
"Oh, sorry. Goodnight."
"Goodnight." Ruby said.
"Yeah, we should." I said.
Ruby came and lay next to me and not on my lap anymore. He slid his arm under me and pulled me close to him.
"It's cold. I'll keep you warm." He whispered.
"You're so cute." I said before burying my face in his chest.
"I'll be warm this way." I said.
"Sleep. We have school tomorrow." He said.
"This is home, Ruby." I said.
"SLEEP!" Ruby exclaimed.
"Goodnight." I said.
"Goodnight. For real this time." Ruby said.
