Manca's Pov

This was it, the final seconds of the Olympics, and USA was going to win. We were going to end the Soviet's gold streak. Rob McClanahan is my boyfriend, and we had been best friends since birth. Now, we have been dating for 4 years. This was his dream, to defeat the Soviet's, and it was about to come true. We all started counting down.

WE DID IT!!!!!" I screamed

Everyone around me was cheering, and the boys were piling down on the ice. We actually beat the Soviet's! I was actually doubtful. Yeah, I believed in the team, that's for sure. But we all knew that the Soviet's were an amazing hockey team, they almost dominated wherever they went. But not tonight. Tonight, we were hockey's spotlight.

I saw Rob waving at me, telling me to come down. I started the trek down, and never want to again, because there are so many damn tunnels. I finally got to ice level, and he skated towards me, picking me up in his arms!

"WE WON MANCA!!"

" I know Mac! I am so proud of you guys!"

"I know this is great and all, but there is one thing you could do to make this day better."

"Anything Mac, absolutely anything."

"Answer this question."

He went down on his knees, with a ring in his hands, and I almost started crying right then and there. He was about to start talking, so I calmed down.

"Manca,  you are honestly the most amazing person I have ever met. We became the cliche story of best friends turning into lovers, and I wouldn't have it any other way. You are the rock that has gotten through all of my mood swings, my games, everything. I know we are young, but I believe that if you were actually willing to date a guy like me of all people, you would be willing to take the risk. So will you Manca? Will you be with me for the rest of my life, and become Manca McClanahan?"

I was speechless, so I simply hugged him and whispered "yes" into his ear. He put the ring on my finger, kissed me, and screamed:

"SHE SAID YES!!!!"

All of the boys started skating towards us, but right before, Rob whispered

"You just made me the happiest man alive."

And you know what.

He just made me the happiest woman alive, and I wouldn't trade this feeling for the world.

"Better than I was, more than I am, and all of this happened, by taking your hand."

This imagine was for NeverStopDreaming95, and I feel really bad because it was supposed to be done 2-3 weeks ago! I'm really sorry that it was so late, I got caught up with school and sports and forgot! If you want me to make it up to you, just message me!
