This is a work of fiction, the characters are fiction. 

This book is probably my darkest concept yet, but I'm up for a challenge. I am trying this "horror" genre, though I'd label this story as a hybrid of horror, sci-fi and thriller. 

A little bit behind this idea, I was watching one of my subscription channels on Youtube and in the video it discussed a Scavenger Hunt linked to the "Dark Web". After some research, inspiring a thought within my imaginative brain, I came across the name of this 'game'. It is known simply as 'no love deep web'. 

Now, I am no professional hacker or even into the kind of stuff that is talked about involving this dark and mysterious place, but I want to place a disclaimer here: 

The Deep Web/Dark Web/Darknet, whatever you'd like to call it is not a toy, nor is it a game. 

Dangerous activities happen there and so for most of this story I am relying on youtube videos covering the topics as well as surface level legal web browsing for my research. I'm not sure if all of it is 100% true, but the Dark Web IS real and it is dangerous and full of illegal, twisted shit that will make you think twice, while scarring you for life. 

With this in mind, let's begin this dark, twisted tale. (And of course, there's my hockey spin to it!)
