Hloo frnds,
First of all I'm sorry for being late. But my mind wasn't in a mood to write anything. Last week our college tour got cancelled because of corona virus. We all were really excited to go but just before the day of our departure our principal informed us about it. So we were all depressed. Then my bestie's marriage also got cancelled because of corona as her groom was trapped in abroad. My friend's fiance was admitted for the same. With all these problems I couldn't write the story.

Khushi was shocked to find her favourite dish butter nan and chilly chicken. Arnav smiled seeing her expression. "Woh I asked the manager to take our order from Anju and pooja. "

Khushi sighed in relief hearing him. She thought that he stalked her. Arnav smirked seeing her expressions. He knew what exactly she thought. That's why he lied to her.

Vihaan looks at the scene from a distance. His eyes turned red in colour. He fist his fingers tightly. "I won't allow this smile to be there on your face khushi. You are mine to destroy." He said gritting his teeth.

Arnav dropped khushi near her house along with pooja." I will wait for you khushi". He said with a smile.

Khushi just nodes her head and rushed to her house dragging pooja with her. After reaching her room she hugged pooja tightly. "I'm the happiest person in this world pooja. Arnavji proposed me...". She said with a charming smile.

"Wowww..... "Pooja exclaimed in joy. "Finally your love is blossomed. "

Both of them were laughing and hugging each other. That's when they noticed someone standing beside them. With a frown khushi withdraws from the hug and stunned to find Dev staring at them.

Pooja hides behind khushi to hide herself from Dev's view and Khushi glare at him angrily. But Dev doesn't care about anything. He continues to stare at Pooja.

Khushi shakes her head in disgust and goes from there dragging Pooja along with her.

A lone tear escapes from Dev's eyes but he quickly wipes it before anyone sees.

At might

Dev slowly opens the room door of khushi. She is sleeping on the bed with a cute pout. He smiled at her affectionately and walks near her. He gently removed the hair from her face and kiss her forehead.

"Bhai... "She mumbled in her sleep.

Dev's eyes turn moist hearing her voice. It's been years that she called him bhai.
"I know you hate me bacha. I can never blame you for that. How can you love me after all these things happened. But everything was for you bacha, for your safety. Nothing will happen to you as long as I'm alive. That's my promise". He touches his forehead with her.

"One day you will realise everything bacha. Till then I need to put on this mask." He whispered cupping her cheek. He walks out of the room after giving a final glance to her.

Next day

AR

Arnav is on a very busy schedule since morning but there was a smile on his face thinking about khushi. He knows that she will definitely say yes.

Finally he leaned on the chair and closed his eyes after completing the work. He remembered seeing khushi for the first time.

Flashback

As usual anjali is pestering him to drop her. Finally he said yes with a sigh. He wasn't aware that this journey will change his life.

He decides to take his bike instead of car. After dropping anjali he noticed a girl at the front gate. She looking carelessly at vehicle that comes towards the college but then a pout forms on her face. Suddenly she noticed anju and a smile bloomed on her face.

Oh so she is looking for anju. He thought with a smile but soon it flattered seeing her looking around frantically. Then she pouted once again and turns to her friend with a crying expression.

Is she searching for me..... He thought with a frown and decides to test it. He stops the bike in their opposite direction. Now he can see them through his rearview mirror.

He removes his helmet and calls anjali loudly "Anju....."

Anjali rushed to him hearing his sound but he was busy looking at that girl. He noticed how she gasped hearing his voice and her eyes too followed anjali. She is trying her best to see his face. Unknowingly a smile forms at his face.

Flashback ends

Everything started then. A door knock interrupted him. Yes come in.

His P. A comes in. "Sir one Mr. Dev comes to meet you. "

"Dev.. .. "Arnav frowned.

"Yes sir. He said he is Khushi Gupta's brother and you know him". PA informed.

"Call him inside." Arnav said immediately. He can't believe that khushi send her brother to meet him before giving him any reply.

Dev enters the cabin with a smile." Hello I'm Dev... Khushi's brother." He shakes his hand with Arnav.

Arnav Singh Raizada...

Dev sit on the chair. "I know you are surprised seeing me here. Khushi don't know about all this. I want to talk to you before allowing you to her life. You know she is like my daughter.... But..." He sighed..." There is some problems between us and everything is for her safety. I want to talk with you about khushi. After hearing all these you can decide, do you want her in your life or not. But please don't hurt her even if your answer is no. She loves you so much. "Dev said with a sad smile.

Arnav held his hand." You can trust me bhai. I won't hurt her. "

For the next few moments Dev narrates everything that happened in his and Khushi's life. Arnav's eyes turn moist along with Dev's and his hand grip tightened.

Dev wipes his tears. "No body knows about this. Please never hurt her. That's the only reason I'm revealing all these to you."

Arnav hugs Dev. "Don't worry bhaiyya... She is safe with me. I love her. "

Evening

Khushi bites her nails feeling tensed. She is really shy about entering his car. Seeing Arnav's car entering through the gate she began to sweat. She closed her eyes.

A visual played before her eyes....

Arnav is placing the Vermillion on her head.

But at the next scene Arnav's blood falls on her Vermilion.

She is screaming with Arnav on her lap and his body is smeared with blood.

A drop of tear falls from her eyes... Seeing all these visuals. She rushed towards his car without even waiting for Anjali.

She hugged him tightly as soon as he gets out from the car. "I love you Arnavji.....". She whispered in his ear.

Even though Arnav is shocked about her sudden reaction he too hugs her close to his heart.
