1. How do you feel being a winner in the Love Story Awards?

 I am really happy. This is an honor for me to be in the limelight along with so many talented and successful writers.

2. Give me a brief summary of your book. Just something to entice the readers;-) 

Hazel Meets Chocolate has one of Indian television's favorite couple Arnav Singh Raizada and Kushi Kumari Gupta. When Kushi accidentally reaches Arnav's fashion show and falls in his arms during the ramp walk, both feel an unwanted attraction. With a past that connects them, you are in for a roller coaster ride filled with romance, mystery and humour.

3.What inspired you to start writing and when did you begin?
 

Well, it's not what, it's who. My husband saw a rough draft of my first book and he encouraged me to start writing even if it was not perfect. He is my inspiration. I began writing from last year.

4. Do you see yourself becoming a professional author ?

No. May be in future I may consider.

5. Are you writing under a penname?

Yes, my real name is hidden in my pen name.
 
6. Who are your favourite authors? Both wattpad and otherwise?

In Wattpad, I love the works of Shivran86, annamikage, Satarupa and outside Wattpad, J.K. Rowling, Amish Tripathi, Vineet Bajpai, Agatha Christie are some of my favorite authors.

7. Did they inspire you?

Definitely! Reading such books opened my eyes to a whole new different world. And my grammar and vocabulary is not perfect. These authors and their books have helped me a lot in sharpening my skills.

8. What, personally, do you think sets Wattpad apart from other writing platforms?

Wattpad gives writers the freedom to pen down their thoughts and this is a huge plus.

9. What is number one on your list when looking for a new book to read?

Plot. I always give importance to plot. And the intensity of the characters.

10.Do you have a specific genre you love to write or read?

 I love reading mystery thrillers and historical fiction. Well, regarding writing, I would love exploring all the genres before coming to a conclusion.

11. What is one thing your readers do that light up your day?

Their comments. The love they shower through their silent reading and the comments, both positive and negative, helps me analyze and better myself.

12. Besides writing, what else do you love to do?

 Singing. I am a fairly good singer and I can't go without singing even for a day.

13. What is the one thing you love most in life?

My family. I love my husband and my kids the most!

14. Is there any thing you would like to tell any aspiring authors reading this?

Never ever give up your writing. Practice always paves way to perfection. Prepare a proper story that has a good plot. Write it down, even if it is not perfect. Keep working hard, you will definitely reap your rewards!!
