Narrator's P.O.V.

It's been an year since Ash left the hideout. After unleashing pikachu's inner power, Ash has trained him hard against Lucario as they are the strongest member of the team at this moment. Due to their training, both of them are at level 200, being capable of defeating all the legendaries that Arceus sent to help them in their training.

Now it's time for Ash to unleash the power of his infernape and frogadier. Ash knows the way to do it. According to the prophecy, the water and fire i.e. frogadier and infernape will help and the bond will be the reason for their powers. He just need to strengthen their bond so he told Lucario and pikachu to do whatever they want for a month. They are having fun and some training sessions in this month which are not as heated as before without Ash's creativity and their true power unleashed. At least not for them that is😅.
In this month, Ash spent whole days with both of his pokemons, having fun and some training sessions. Now we join Ash who is in the middle of their last training session of the month.

Ash's P.O.V.

"Infernape! Mach punch! Frogadier! Use pound! Go!" I yelled to both my pokemons which is kinda hard as I should use the that has any chances over each other. As the move collided, both the pokemons were pushed back.

They were panting but refused to give up! That's like my childhood friends! Before attaining special powers, froakie and pikachu were my most powerful pokemon so I am kinda worried about infernape. But that doesn't mean that I will hold back for anyone!

"Frogadier! Double Team followed by Water Pulse! Use Pound if you have time to increase the pressure and effect! Infernape! Use dig! Make multiple holes and then follow use Flamethrower!." As the multiple copies of frogadier appeared, infernape made multiple holes connected to each other and jumped in one of them.

"Frogadier! Stay calm and look for the right time to attack! Use frubbles to blind him when he comes out!"

Infernape started to jump out of the holes, burn the copies, and jump back into the holed. One by one all the copies of frogadier disappeared by the flamethrower. By the time frogadier was able to aim correctly to use frubbles, all the copies were already gone but it was too late for infernape to attack frogadier due to frubbles covering his eyes. Frogadier started to glow white. As the white light ended, there was a different pokemon, Greninja standing there. He used a powerful Water Shuriken and the smoke covered the area. The sound of explosion was so loud that even Lucario and Pikachu came at the scene using quick attack.
As everybody thought that the battle ended, Ash felt a fire inside him. He knew what it meant.
"Greninja! Can you battle on your own for just this time?" Ash pleaded. Greninja had a confused look like his other pokemons but he nodded. Ash rotated his hat and gave a confident smirk to the ninja-frog pokemon who was fully healed due to evolution. As the smoke faded, everybody was shocked except Ash and a certain pokemon.

Infernape was standing there with red eyes and a red light surrounding him. You can see what action he did on the top of chapter name.

As the flames increase to a level where they were able to burn pokemons who would touch them, greninja got a scared look. He was not scared just because of infernape's new power he attained as his aura connected to Ash's aura, also because of Ash rotated his cap which can make an opponent, who knows Ash truly, run away even if his pokemon have type advantage and is fighting against a sleeping metapod.

"Infernape! Use flare blitz!"

*Time freeze frame*

I always leave you at a cliffhanger, don't I?😅 It's just that I am not good with fighting stuff. Sorry for the short chapter but hey, I also made some bigger than normal ones!
